About: My husband and I always had a pack of rescues. Large, small, sick, old. We had no children so our pets were our children. My husband passed away and I recently just lost my last fur baby. I want to travel a bit so pet sitting is going to be my substitute for a while. I love cats but unfortunately I'm highly allergic. I currently work remotely but will be retiring shortly. My daily routine is wide open. I've always had one or more dogs so my routine has always been focused on their care. My last 3 were older boys with medical conditions so my life was focused on their care. I can accommodate crates or not, whatever your babies need. I do not have a fenced in yard so when they go outside they will always be on a leash.

Kate completely put me at ease. From our meet and greet, she was caring, patient, kind, and so attentive to everything I told her about Oreo and his needs. Her house is also extremely clean! Kate listened to all of my concerns, followed his routine, made accommodations for him and kept me updated throughout our trip with pictures and text messages. Seeing those pictures and knowing he was being cared for made it so much easier for me to enjoy my time away. Kate truly went above and beyond, and I couldn't have asked for a better person to care for Oreo. She didn't just watch him, she cared for him with genuine compassion and patience. Everything went perfectly, and I came home to a happy, well cared lil old man as Kate affectionately called him. 🥰 I am so grateful I found Kate, especially on such short notice. I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, dependable, patient, and loving with their pets. When your dog stays with me, it’s more than boarding—it’s a personalized, safe, and loving experience while you’re away. ❤️ During weekdays (Monday–Friday), while I’m at the office, dogs enjoy a structured and comfortable routine. Each morning begins with an hour of playtime, either outdoors or indoors depending on the weather. From 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM, they relax in their own separate, private room, providing a calm and secure space just for them. Midday includes supervised outdoor play and exercise, followed by a rest period from 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM back in their private room. I monitor each dog throughout the day using an indoor camera to ensure their safety, comfort, and well-being at all times. Outside of these hours, your pup will have plenty of opportunities for both indoor and outdoor play, engaging games, mentally stimulating activities, and special treats. I treat every dog like they’re part of my family. Visiting pups can roam freely, explore multiple toy bins, enjoy tasty treats (lamb, duck, chicken, turkey, or beef), lounge on the couch for snuggles, or watch a movie with me. Supervised outdoor fun is a big part of the day too—dogs can run in the backyard, play fetch with a ball, cool off in a splash pool, or chase water from a sprinkler. Every stay is packed with love, exercise, and adventures. To keep all current and future furry guests safe and healthy, proof of up-to-date vaccinations is required.
