About: My husband and I always had a pack of rescues. Large, small, sick, old. We had no children so our pets were our children. My husband passed away and I recently just lost my last fur baby. I want to travel a bit so pet sitting is going to be my substitute for a while. I love cats but unfortunately I'm highly allergic. I currently work remotely but will be retiring shortly. My daily routine is wide open. I've always had one or more dogs so my routine has always been focused on their care. My last 3 were older boys with medical conditions so my life was focused on their care. I can accommodate crates or not, whatever your babies need. I do not have a fenced in yard so when they go outside they will always be on a leash.

Kshama took care of Lexi very well and sent few pictures daily when we were away and missing her. I forgot providing dog bed and Kshama was kind to provide an extra bed that she has already. “Samantha was great! I have 2 cats and neither are a huge fan of strangers. One needs meds twice a day and the other we recently adopted likes to hide. Samantha was able to make sure my cat who needs meds got her meds and she even was able to pet her and give her some attention, which is very hard to do! My other cat hid the entire time (to be expected) but Samantha kept me updated and made sure he was still eating and using the litter box. Overall a great experience and I would book again!”

About: Before I became a cat mom I cared for several feral cats and kittens. From getting they spayed and neutered to finding them homes. When I found a litter of kittens 5 years ago two of them were a bit different. One was rough and wanted to play always and one was very shy and frightened easily. About: I have cared for animals ever since I was 10 years old. I’ve had small pets of my own, two dogs (a pit bull and a corgi) and my roommate owns two cats, as well. I have no allergies and have a smoke free home! I’m a teacher during the school year, so I’m just looking to keep some animals company this summer while on break! I’m not working in the summer, so I have a lot of time to stop in and care for animals or go for walks. I can do weekdays and weekends pretty much all times of the day. I live in a new build home and subdivision, so when I walk my dog it has to be on a leash. I am happy to leash walk, harness walk, or crate animals.

I don’t use crates unless the owner requests; and the babies sleep with me! For dogs that might be a bit nervous or crabby away from home, I use lavender and chamomile oils to sooth their nerves. I am retired and have lived in the Macomb County area for 18 years. I have excellent personal and business references. My goal is to love and enjoy your animals and provide them with the best possible and safest environment. I love to take photos & will send lots of pics of your babies while you’re gone. About: I’ve done a lot of puppy raising and training. I have had 6 labs that I have raised and trained from 6 weeks old on. I also have experience with senior dogs, giving medication and helping them to get around and be comfortable. I would love to watch your new puppy while you are away for the day or longer. I can help with basic training socialization. I am occasionally subbing for special education at a school at the corner of my street. If I happen to get called into sub I am able to come home at lunch only leaving the dogs for a few hours at a time. I have a 5 year old yellow Labrador that is very friendly and gets along very well with other dogs. I have a spacious, fully fenced yard—and a built-in companion! Dogs I welcome into our home are treated like part of the family, just like our own beloved fur baby. I also have a crate available, which our dog uses freely whenever she wants a cozy spot to relax.

I unfortunately recently lost my 13yr old American Bulldog in November of 2023, and 10 yr old Pitbull in May 2024 to cancer. We had both girls since they were pups so it was an huge devastation to our family. We currently have our 10 yr old Calico cat that was raised with them since a kitten. I have dog sat for friends and family as well in the past. I have experience giving oral medications and supplements if needed. I know how hard it is to work full-time and still have time to give the love and attention to your dogs that you want for them. I know many people have a hard time trusting doggy daycare with other strange dogs and the little one on one time they receive with handlers. I can give you the peace of mind knowing your pet is being well taken care of and receiving all the love and attention they deserve. I currently work part time from home. I am usually available Monday - Thursday after 2pm, and open availability on the weekends depending on my son’s sports schedule or vacations planned. They trusted me to stay with their pets overnight, drop in and visit them and let them out, and just play with them or walk them. Every person has trusted me multiple times, allowing me to help out again! I am at home working a waitressing job as well so my hours will fluctuate but they will always be available from 6-9 a.m. on the week days and all day Sunday Unfortunately I cannot house dogs because I am in my parents house but I am able to drive somewhere close to give your dog a walk.

About: I love all animals! If they could talk I’d be in heaven. All pets are family. I’ve always been very protective of animals. I’ve had dogs, cats, turtles, chicks any animal I can care for. When I was 15 I started a small “business” taking in stray cats and dogs cleaning them up, getting them shots, ridding fleas and finding them forever homes. I recently moved from Michigan so I’d buy supplies for heated cat/dog homes outside for the ones I couldn’t take yet when it was cold out and my house was full. Knowing that I can give an animal some comfort and let them know they are loved means the world to me which is why I alway wanted to become a Vet. I currently am able to watch pets from 3pm to 7pm mon,Tues,wed,sat,Sun. I can watch your pet any time on Thursday and Friday. I am flexible I have a cage if needed but I wouldn’t typically cage any pets unless requested. I also have two cats of my own who vibe in their own room with the doors closed. I have feliway plug ins so your bestie will be calm and ready for the day.
About: I have experience working with dogs of all breeds and sizes. Dogs have always been a part of my life. I’ve been volunteering at an animal shelter for over 4 years and foster dogs as well. Pet care is my part time job. My schedule is flexible and I am willing to work around your schedule so your dog can have the best care. I will care for your pet as if they were my very own. About: I love all kinds of dogs! I have a maltese shihtzu mix that I have been taking care of for 9 plus years. I love the outdoors! I am used to taking dogs outside to use the restroom, and I also have experience with pad trained dogs and dogs who are still being house broken. The only dogs I cannot watch are rottweilers, and dobermans. Unfortunately, on average the risks are higher with these breeds. I am a teacher. Since I do not teach during summer vacation, I am highly available during the summer, morning to night. During the school year (Sept-May) I am available to walk your dog and house sit early in the morning before school (5-7 am), after school is let out (4:30 pm-late), or all day/night on weekends. I love to give lots of snuggles to keep your furry friend happy and feeling loved! I am a big advocate for routine and a pet’s emotional/mental stability, so you can rely on me to be timely whether that means house-sitting, feeding, or going on walks with your dogs.

Each morning begins with an hour of playtime, either outdoors or indoors depending on the weather. From 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM, they relax in their own separate, private room, providing a calm and secure space just for them. Midday includes supervised outdoor play and exercise, followed by a rest period from 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM back in their private room. I monitor each dog throughout the day using an indoor camera to ensure their safety, comfort, and well-being at all times. Outside of these hours, your pup will have plenty of opportunities for both indoor and outdoor play, engaging games, mentally stimulating activities, and special treats. I treat every dog like they’re part of my family. About: I have cared for my grand dogs and friends’ dogs for years. Our whole family will shower your dog with love and attention! We love to send pictures of the dogs having fun or napping on the couch! I am a stay at home, home-schooling mom who has lots of time in our home to care for your dog. We are home most of the time available to give your dog all the attention they need. I have a fenced in yard. My kids love to make friends with dogs that we have watched. We have a large dog crate available if your dog is crate trained. We take their care very seriously and follow owners requests and directions.

“Flexibility & First Impressions She was able to take Chico in last minute, which helped us tremendously. From the very beginning, she was kind, friendly, and welcoming. Chico seemed comfortable with her right away, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. Comfort & Safety One thing that really stood out was that Chico had his own room during boarding. It gave him a calm and comfortable space without being placed in a cage. I was originally hoping he would be able to interact with other dogs, but Orawan explained that one of her dogs does not do well with others, so she kept them separated. I appreciated that because it showed she was responsible, careful, and honest about keeping everyone safe. Extra Care & Attention She also went above and beyond by helping Chico feel more comfortable with his food. She added some of her own cooked chicken to his meals, which helped him eat better and feel more at home. That extra care meant a lot. Communication & Updates The communication was excellent. Right after I walked out the door, she started sending updates. Throughout the stay, she sent a tremendous amount of photos and updates every day, which I loved. I never had to wonder how Chico was doing because she kept me informed every step of the way. Final Thoughts Overall, Chico stayed comfortably, was well cared for, and I felt confident he was in good hands. I would definitely recommend Orawan to anyone looking for a caring, responsible, and communicative sitter.”
