“Michael was so great with my cat, Benny. I felt confident that Benny would be in great hands when he stopped in for a ‘meet and greet’ and showed not only how knowledgeable he was with cats, but how attentive he was to Benny and his care/routines. His visit updates and communication are always friendly and detailed. 10/10 would recommend!”

“Ashley provided an excellent home away from home for my puppy. They have a large yard for play and an easy going style with dogs. She is very prompt in her communication and provides regular updates.”

“Hunter consistently shows up when scheduled. She is good about letting me know if changes are needed to the schedule due to other commitments, which happens infrequently. She is open to communication and has formed a tangible bond with Mr. Percy the cat. Always feel at ease about leaving him in her care. Just my take on it, but Hunter genuinely cares for the animals she looks after. You'd be lucky to have her care for your pets!”

About: We are a homeschooling family of five. After losing our first dog last year, we finally adopted again. Our pup is very social and although she has plenty of attention at home, she would love to have fur friends to play with. We are available most days of the week and are out of the house not more than 1-2 hours at a time. We have three children between the ages of five and eleven who all love dogs and are very gentle with them. We’d love to play, walk, or just hang out. Whether we’re playing or schooling, your pup will have company. We understand that your pets are family members and we’ll treat them as such at our house. We look forward to the opportunity to meet and spend quality time with your fur babies.

“Relish did a great job with my girl, Basia, even if Basia wouldn't give her the time of day! Basia decided to be a shy girl, for once, and hide most of the time but she eventually came out to observe Aelish in her home from under the dining table. But, seriously, Aelish was very sweet and friendly, and responsive to my texts while cat-sitting. I would definitely use her again and would recommend her.”

“Lejuana does a wonderful job with our 2 kitties. One kitty has health issues and needs several meds and Lejuana takes very good care of her. I have booked Lejuana twice and will definitely get her again!”

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals since I was a kid and have grown up to be a pet loving person! I’ve taken care of dogs of many sizes so it shouldn’t be a challenge for me. I have experience in dog walking and dog care. I have two cats and a small dog that I care for on a daily basis. I am available almost everyday to help care for your beloved animals. I am able to be flexible with drop in times. I currently take care of one dog and two cats. My dog goes on walks everyday and they get fed twice a day. I feed my cats twice daily and clean their litter every other day, they get plenty of cuddles and play time.

“Lisa pampered my 2 kitties while we were away! They got to enjoy the patio as she hung out with them and she even bonded with the super shy one. And we received many great pictures! Even brought in our mail. Definitely our new pet sitter. Thanks!”

About: With over six years of experience as a Veterinary Assistant and a background in Veterinary Technician studies, I have developed strong skills in caring for a diverse array of pets. After taking time off to be a stay-at-home mom, I am eager to bring my expertise and passion for animal care back into the field! I am available on Friday and Saturday evenings after 6pm and Sunday and Mondays throughout the day! This schedule is subject to change due to being a full time stay at home momma. In clients homes I respect boundaries and upkeep the areas your pets use. I will ensure they are comfort and trusting of me before approaching and interacting!

About: Not only have I grown up with cats and dogs, I’ve also been responsible for the care of my friends’ and neighbors’ pets on multiple occasions. From playing with little kittens to helping a senior pet with medications, I’m ready for anything and can’t wait to love on your pet! I am working between 35-40 hours a week, but my schedule is ever changing. I am typically available mornings and evenings and on weekends. I can make one home visit in the afternoon if necessary. I try to be as flexible as possible! If you have cats, I’ll be sure to give them the attention they ask for! Whether that be cuddling, playing, or sleeping. I will never invade the space of a cat if they are apprehensive or shy. If you have dogs, I’m ready to play a rough game of tug of war, walk around, or snuggle up on the couch (if permitted). And if you have both, that’s great—I’m ready to support them!

About: I have experience caring for both elderly and young dogs. This has equipped me with a variety of skills such as age-appropriate exercise, nutritional needs, and understanding certain behaviors and how to react. I just recently graduated high-school and need something to fill my time. Playing with your pups seems to be the best thing to fill my day! I’m free majority of the week and only work part-time as a waitress. I have a cat and dog at my house but both a friendly to other animals. If needed the animals can be put in a separate room away from clients pet.

About: I grew up on a farm, always having dogs and cats around. I also worked at a small animal shelter for 3 years, where I rescued my 2 cats and dog. Later I worked at a pet supply store. We were given extensive education on pet nutrition, handling and care. I have always been friends and families go to person for their pet sitting needs. Also I cared for my husband's 2 elderly dogs when we moved in together, helping them eat, administering medications and helping them in and out of the house. I have an open schedule as I am new to the area. I am more than happy to come to you or you can come to me! Whatever your pet needs are I can attend to. If crating is needed I can do that, I live less than a mile from a nature center where we can go on hikes and walk. If I am needed in your home just let me know the details of what you would like and I can make that happen as well.

About: Love all animals and will take care of any pet. Will make sure to make sure to play with them for a while each visit to ensure they are happy while you are away. Can usually do any time on any day of the week. Am planning to do this for my summer break before I leave for college. I will gently discipline if needed but mostly will just show affection and play with the animal. I find it most important to make sure they are happy while you are away.

Cherokee Hills cat parents share their Rover experiences
Lisa took great care of my two cats. She was attentive to their needs based on their personalities/quirks. My 11 month old kitten had never been without us for an entire week, and my 13 year old is timid and doesn’t engage very much. Lisa gave extra attention to our kitten while still talking with and soothing our older kitty while we were away. I got a daily report with photos. That means so much when traveling. She also watered my plants, which was a great help to me in this extreme heat. I highly recommend Lisa. She knows cats!
