About: I got my first dog when I was 18 years old. She was the sweetest pup I have ever met! Since then dogs have become an irreplaceable part of my life. I have cared for puppies, senior dogs & few dogs with behavioral needs. I have fostered dogs through the years and learnt how meaningful this experience can be. My last foster was a young adult who was a year old. Open to pets all day subjected to advance notice/short notice. I'm mostly home so I can be flexible with your routine and needs. A small heads up is always appreciated. I live in an apartment complex which is 5 mins away from 2 dog parks. I'll take your dog for daily exercise and morning, afternoon and evening. I live in a neighborhood which has lots of space to walk for regular/short walks. I have a 7 year old mild tempered female dog who will provide excellent care and comfort while you are away. I can easily crate your dog if needed, I have a large crate.

About: I became a puppy raiser for Guiding Eyes for the Blind right around 2000. It was a great program to help me stay in tune. My favorite take away - your emotions travel through the leash. It reminded me to stay focused on my 4-legged guy when we walked especially. I stayed a sitter for the non-profit even when I wasn't raising. I currently work FT - most days remote. My routine with my own was a morning walk to the entrance of the neighborhood (15-20 min). Mid-morning and mid-afternoon of just the street (~10 min). And a longer after dinner walk (~30 min.). And a night-night walk before turning in. I am currently without a furbaby, so yours would be my focus. I have a gated back deck we could hang on nice days. Leash walks throughout the day.

I share my home with two friendly, well-socialized small dogs and specialize in creating a calm, loving environment for both small dogs and gentle giants. I have extensive experience with senior pets, dogs with special needs, and pups who just need a little extra TLC. I work from home and structure my days around the animals in my care, with walks, playtime, enrichment activities, and lots of cozy couch cuddles. I’m rarely away for more than 3–4 hours, so your dog will have a steady, comforting presence and personalized attention all day long. Whether they’re energetic or easygoing, your pup will feel safe, cared for, and right at home here. In my home, pets are truly treated like family. I usually only care for one (and no more than three) visiting dogs at a time, in addition to my own friendly resident pups, so each guest gets plenty of individualized attention. Every dog has their own cozy private space for naps, meals, and downtime, and a large shared area for safe, supervised play if they enjoy socializing. I remove toys during group play to prevent guarding issues and ensure calm, respectful interactions. Dogs are walked three times a day and also have supervised leashed or tethered access to my private yard for fresh air, sniffing, and sunshine. When the weather is nice, we love lounging on the porch or stretching out on a blanket in the grass together. Let me know anything to be aware of, likes/dislikes, if you’d like photos while you’re away… basically I will treat your fur-baby the same way I would want a sitter to treat mine.
