About: I have cared for, trained and enjoyed dogs since I was 2 years old. I helped raise and train 3 guide dogs for the blind as a middle schooler/high schooler. Recently our beloved family dog of 9 years passed away. Our 2 year old German Shepard/Blue heeler mix, Nikita, would love to keep your dog company while you are away. Our property has plenty of space to run and play. I am a full-time mom of 4 school aged kids who love dogs. I am around to care and love on your pup during Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays as well as weekends with limited time unattended. I do work part-time on Mondays and Thursdays. I have a small fenced backyard and a very large unfenced property to provide care for your pup. My dog, Nikita, is friendly and would love to meet new friends. I have space for a crate indoors if you would like to bring your own. I also have outdoor crates if you'd like your pup to have fresh air during short times we're away. Nikita normally hangs on the couch inside while I am not home and your dog is welcome to join her =)

About: Dogs, cats, & other animals have been a part of my family for as long as I can remember. I’ve pet sat for several friends and family members, and never had any complaints! Currently I’m working part time, so I’m pretty open! Weekends and afternoons are perfect, but I’m also open to morning check-ins and walks. I love getting outside and exercising, and I know that it’s such an important part of pets’ routines too! No dogs at the moment, but we do have several cats, both indoor and outdoor! Comfortable with walking dogs, and I can adapt to any commands that you use for them. I never ever use aggression to teach pets, but still firm with them. Unable to run with dogs, but absolutely can go for walks and/or play fetch with them outside.

About: I can hardly remember a time where i didnt have at least one pet. “Our pup Tashi has a new love, Melanie. We noticed after his first professional grooming session with her ... he was smitten and followed her, preferring her company to ours. He followed her to her truck and I'm sure would have jumped right in and gone home with her. So obviously we had to book her for a pet sitting session. He watched her approach from our porch, but when he heard her voice, he went bounding up to her in greeting. Needless to say, the date was great; they watched a doggie cartoon together and went for walks in the autumn drizzle. Melanie, from our point of view as parents ... meets our strict standards for our Tashi. She was timely, great communication with photos during their date, and gave us such peace of mind. Her debrief gave us specifics of his behavior and a couple tips for training. We came home to such a relaxed dog, he didn't bark upon our return ... but did eventually seem pleased we were home. However, when Melanie left, he gave me a look, "how could you let her go, Mom?"”

About: I have many years of experience with dogs and cats through personal pet ownership and former employment as a Veterinary Assistant/Kennel Attendant. My husband and I have 6 spoiled dogs and two cats that we adore. I enjoy taking my dogs for walks in the park and throwing a tennis ball for some play and exercise. I I have experience taking care of senior dogs and blind dogs. Also some grooming experience through an on line course and 150 externship hours. I am currently working full time but have weekends off. I am available afternoons Monday through Friday and am currently providing nail trims on dogs and cats. I do not do at home day care yet but I do offer dog walking and drop in visits for feeding, walking and play time.

I've been house sitting for about 5 years now and have had multiple repeat families. Im currently working part-time so will have time to show your pets love and company. I also have a live in partner at my place that helps make sure im available for overnight sitting out of the house as well! I care for pets in clients home, and making sure that im aware of any escape artists or what exactly is required of me to fully care for your pets-i.e. food times, potty times, if they are able to be left alone and if so then for how long, etc.
