“We have a 5 month old Saint Bernard and after trying doggy day care at a commercial kennel, we knew we wanted to try something a little more personal. We chose Scott and his wife for our first experience with Rover, and it was the best choice! We met for a meet and greet before hand and instantly felt comfortable. Scott lives on a quiet street and has a large back yard for the dogs to enjoy. They sent us several pictures during the day of them going on walks and playing with other puppies. It definitely made the experience better seeing him so comfortable in the photos. We look forward to building our relationship with Scott, his wife Jessica and all their puppy friends in the future!”

“Samantha is truly the greatest pet sitter in the area. She is extremely knowledgeable about dog training, behavior, pet care, and is confident in what she does. My dog loves spending time with her, and the moment I pull into her street, he knows where he is at. He has had poor experiences with other day cares, to the point he shakes when I try to drop him off, but when he sees Samantha he starts to get so antsy and can hardly wait for me to open the car door so he can run to her! I have a very large guardian breed and she does so well with him. If you are anxious about finding a great sitter because your dog has some quirks, do not worry. She sees your pet as an individual and works with you and your pet to make sure everyone has the best experience! I do not trust any other person to handle my dog appropriately, other than her! She goes above and beyond every time.”

Maggie has consistently taken care of my animals (2 cats) since 2019. She is an excellent communicator and always goes above and beyond! A cat (and dog) mom herself, she is always making sure my kitties are fed and happy. Your pets will be in great hands. I would recommend Maggie 100 times over!”

About: I have raised dogs, cats, bunnies, horses, and chickens my entire life. I currently have a Pug and a Boston Terrier, both puppies. I work from home and can provide day care, over nights, walks, pop-ins, etc. I am right down the street from Gateway so if you need a place to drop your animal off on your way to work downtown, I make a convenient drop off location. Very flexible with times. Air conditioning inside, large fully fenced backyard, and walks daily. 24/7 availability for pet care so long as we communicate in advance. I work from home and can be available based on your needs. I am available for drop off and pick up any time. There are a few times throughout the day where I will be driving my kids to and from events. We can communicate and work around those times. I also have a keypad. Animals are watched closely in the home and kept inside the fence in the backyard under supervision. When on walks animals are always on leash and are one on one with me. Separate food and water bowls are used. My yard is cleared of excrement daily. All animals must be up to date with shots and worming and flea/tick prevention.

“Kevin was wonderful! I entrusted him to keep my two dogs for a week after I had neck surgery. He kept my 16 year old dog and my new 2 pound puppy. He sent daily updates including pictures which helped me to relax since I had never left the puppy with anyone. He is knowledgeable about dogs behavior, schedules and needs. I could see in the pictures he sent that my dogs were relaxed and enjoying their time with him. I won’t leave my dog with anyone else!!”

“When I was going out of town, I asked Courtney to watch my cat for me. I left her at home and Courtney came every day a couple of times to make sure she had enough food and to play with her. I recognize that cats and dogs aren't the same thing, but my cat thinks she is a dog. Anyhow, every time she went over to check in on my cat, Courtney sent me pictures of them playing and of my cat curled up next to her. My cat doesn't always like people she hasn't met before, but she took to Courtney really quickly and was very happy and healthy upon my return. Courtney is not only super friendly toward four-legged friends but is also kind toward her two-legged friends as well!”

About: I’m the friend that’s relied on for training support. Puppy, Senior citizen, separation anxiety to adoptee experience; 10+ years. I’m passionate about learning new training techniques, implementing, and teaching. Every dog and companion deserves to understand each other. I have a 3 year old xl breed. Every day we focus on consistency and communication. I personally focus on the individual needs specific to my companions for the best life experience. From avid exercise to slow paced walks to muscle and joint massage and even reinforcing habits that create healthy confidence. I love paying attention to body language and understanding what it means for a companion as well as the companion’s caretaker and being able to provide comfort and training techniques based off of that. I can’t wait to be a certified dog trainer and help people understand there’s no such thing as a bad or impossible breed. It’s all about understanding, communication, implementation, and consistency. My goal is to keep your companions day as regular and consistent as possible. We will be on time for walks, they will get a lot of attention, I love animal body language so I’ll be able to build a connection with your companion based on their comfortability level, and I prefer to go by your rules. I understand no dogs on couches and I also fully support couch cuddles. It’s all about your companions happiness and well being along with providing ease and comfort for you and I will make sure to provide everything you need to maintain that. I chose a neighborhood great for king walks and close to downtown for easy access to greys lake. apartment that offered a dog park for comfortable potty breaks. And being right next to greys lake offers great adventures. I can crate if required, as I crate my 2 yr old for his safety. I encourage as many “rules” and your guidance to abide by to make your companions day to day as regular and enjoyable as possible. This is all about you guys and making your lives easy and comfortable.
