A typical day

A typical day with the pets I care for is filled with fun, engagement, and plenty of affection! Here’s what you can expect: 1. Morning Routine: The day begins with a gentle wake-up, followed by a morning walk or playtime to help the pets burn off some energy. I ensure each pet is fed according to their specific schedule, with fresh water always available. 2. Interactive Play: After breakfast, we dive into playtime! I have a variety of toys and activities to keep them entertained, such as fetch, tug-of-war, or interactive puzzle toys that challenge their minds. 3. Training and Socialization: If your pet is a puppy or requires some training, I incorporate short training sessions using positive reinforcement techniques. For socialization, I ensure they spend time with my two friendly cats and our husky, helping them learn to interact well with other animals. 4. Outdoor Adventures: Depending on the weather, we might head outside for a stroll in the neighborhood or visit a nearby park. This provides an opportunity for fresh air and new sights, which is great for mental stimulation. 5. Rest and Relaxation: After our morning adventures, we take some time to relax. I provide cozy spots for naps and cuddles, ensuring your pet feels safe and comfortable. 6. Afternoon Activities: In the afternoon, we might engage in more play, or I’ll set up a cozy spot by the window for some bird-watching. I’ll also check in on their feeding schedule and administer any medications as needed. 7. Evening Wind Down: As the day winds down, I spend quality time with the pets, whether it’s through gentle brushing, petting, or playing calming music. I’ll ensure they have a quiet space for a good night’s rest. Overall, each day is tailored to the individual needs and preferences of your pet, ensuring they feel loved, engaged, and happy throughout their stay!

Hello! My names Kaylie!

Pet care experience

Please note: I do not accept dogs under the age of five unless they are brought with a kennel. This policy is in place due to past safety concerns when owners did not disclose how their pets behave when left alone. My goal is to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all animals in my care. Thank you for understanding!! I have years of experience caring for a variety of pets, from young puppies to senior dogs with special needs. What sets me apart from other sitters is my personalized approach to each animal’s unique temperament and requirements. I’m experienced in administering medications, managing special diets, and providing extra care for senior pets who may need more attention and patience. I also have experience with basic puppy training, including housebreaking and crate training. Additionally, having a calm and friendly husky at home helps create a comfortable, social environment for your pet. My priority is ensuring your dog feels safe, happy, and well-cared for while you’re away!

I've used Kaylie a couple of times. My puppy always comes home happy and well taken care of! In fact, my puppy seems more interested in staying to play than coming home with me, which tells me he enjoyed his time with Kaylie. Kaylie is really responsible, and I feel like I'm leaving my pup in good hands with her. I will continue to book with her as I can.
