“This was my first time using Rover. Becca was kind, attentive and informative while I was away. Highly recommend her services. She sent me pictures and put my mind at ease while I was away from my dog.”

“Mike took wonderful care of Colby. We are lucky to be able to relax knowing Colby is in good hands. He stayed the night and let Colby out in the early morning hours to make sure he was taken care of. He did puzzles with Colby and brushed his teeth. Colby knows Mike by name and loves hanging out with him. Thank you so much Mike!!”

“This is the 2nd time that Ona was watched our dog and he loves her so much! We didn’t have to worry at about him at all when we went on vacation, and we came back to a clean house!”

“David is the first sitter we have used on Rover for our dogs and cat, while we were away for the weekend. He is phenomenal; our nervous pups took to him immediately and I got pics of relaxed, cuddling dogs - and our GSD is not typically a cuddler so this was even more remarkable. All the pets were calm and happy when we came home. He took great care of our home as well. We will definitely rebook! We are very happy with his care.”

“Very much appreciate the last minute availability and the good care of my pup Nilla! I would’ve liked more updates on how it was going, but I just get nervous leaving her, especially with new people. Everything in the house was we left it and Nilla was perfectly content when we’re arrived home.”

“John was amazing. This was the first time we had a sitter for our 10 month old lab and he made us feel so comfortable and relaxed about the entire experience. He helped train our dog and made him comfortable when we were gone. We can’t wait to ask for John to help us in the future. He is very knowledgeable and passionate about dogs. Lucky to have found him.”

“Nickole did a great job of taking care of our two pups. It shows that she loves animals. They were both happy with tails wagging when we got home.”

“Nina was a great sitter for our three dogs. Even before the booking and meet/greet, she asked questions to get to know our dogs and their routines. She’s very thorough and detailed. Nina communicated throughout the stay with pictures and updates on how they were doing. She kept the house clean also. Would recommend and book again!”

About: Hi my name is Janet. I have over 10 years of experience in taking care of animals. I have always been a huge animal lover and have revolved my world around animals. I am fully trained on animal cpr and first aid as well as medicating animals including insulin injections as well! *must be a stable diabetic* I will always monitor your pets to make sure they are eating, drinking water and going potty while in my care. I accept pets of all temperaments and always fully respect the animal in my care. I work at their comfort level to ensure they stay as safe and stress free as possible. I have lots of experience with handling dog reactive dogs as well as stranger danger animals. I have also given all types of different diets to animals so no diet is too complicated or gross for me! I know that every pet is completely different and all have different personalities and I promise to always do what’s best for your pet in my care even if that means staying out of their personal bubble if they prefer space over affection. I also have pet safe transportation and can take your dog on adventures to local parks and trails! I also will send daily photo updates if you would like them while they are in my care! I currently manage a doggy daycare/boarding facility in scottsville. I either work 6a-2p or 12p-8p there. I can easily leave mid shift on my lunch breaks to check in on your pet if those shifts are too long to leave your pet alone for! I also used to do overnights so if you work nights and want to keep your pet company while your at work no time is too late for me!! I can either take care of your pet in your own home or at my home! My house has a fully fenced in yard that is escape proof (my own three dogs helped me make it escape proof) as well as your pets own area that is separate from my own pets that they can safely rest and relax. I have crates available if your pet prefers to be in one when left alone but the room is also pet safe enough where they can be left out to safely roam. They will always have access to clean water and food (based on what their feeding is)

“Annaliese kept me informed as to how the dogs were doing. I received photos of the dogs about twice a day. She kept the routine for the dogs the same by following directions left. The dogs looked happy & taken care of.”

About: Hi! My name is Alicia, I'm 29 years old and from Rochester. I mostly model for a living, but I miss having something to do during the weekdays, hence the new second job. I have always been an animal lover. I've had dogs all my life, and I'm very experienced with animals. I have not only helped trained my dog when she was a puppy, I also have been dog walking and house sitting in a professional setting for a couple years now. I have experience with small dogs, medium and large. My dog is my world and I don't think I could be anymore of an animal lover. I would love to become your dogs next best friend :) I am always up to the task of caring for animals, no matter how high energy they are. I love connecting with new animals and learning their routines. I am always on high alert with everyone, especially if I am the main care taker of an animal, so I always have their best interest in mind

About: A little bit about me, I am going on to my second year at MCC and after plan on joining the Air Force! I currently have a part time job at restaurant but have gotten the unfortunate news that they will be shutting down my store so I am looking to make this my full time job until the near future. I have been taking care of animals since my early teenage years starting off with a close family friend and her 2 poodle mix’s. They would be dropped off at my house around 9:00 am and then get pick up at 6:00pm. I have bathed, cleaned, and even trained some dogs (simple commands). In addition, I have also taken care of multiple furry felines and have had many cats of my own so I am also quite familiar with their needs as well. I am wanting to soon be Pet CPR and First Aid Certified. I have always been interested in pet-care I just didn’t know how to go about it until I found out about rover! I will be putting all my focus on pet-care as my full time job. Since I am just starting out I will only have weekday availability 11-9 and will only offer drop in’s and walk services at this time. I have been around pets for a long time and feel I am able to pick up on signs if anything might be wrong with your furry friend.

“Anna is amazing. She takes such good care of our 3 cats and 2 dogs when we’re away, and I swear our house is nicer when we get back. Also, I’m pretty sure our dogs were trying to shut the door on us so that they could get Anna back! She’s thoughtful, communicative, wonderful with animals, and just a lovely person.”

I will respect everything in my clients house and listen to all of the instructions they give me. I will care for the dog and make sure all its needs are met.

“Moriah was professional and made certain my two dogs were properly cared for. One of my babies is 16+, blind, and needy. Moriah was able to address his needs and asked questions for clarification when necessary. I am hoping Moriah will accept future requests!”

“Nicole was great with my three dogs!! I NEVER leave my babies overnight so I was terrified, but she made me so relaxed by sending me pictures and updates. One is a senior w/dementia, age 15, so I was very nervous, but everything went very smoothly :) We will definitely be requesting her again if we go away!”

I am very passionate about animals. I will tend to all your pets needs and keep my eyes on them at all times. I will make sure your pup is thoroughly taken care of!

It was really helpful seeing all the updates and check ins from her too! Very communicative so we weren’t ever wondering how our boy was doing without us.”

Angie kept us well informed about how and what Brie was doing, she kept the house clean, and was a delightful young woman!

Once again Teri was a rock star!! Our too little beagles are a handful. They are very nervous and Teri has a wonderful way of taking care of them. They make mistakes in the house and Teri goes above and beyond in managing that frustrating challenge. We are so thankful to have Teri so we can feel so comfortable and confident that are little ones are being loved so much when we are away.

Gianna was wonderful with Gia and Minnie. Very reliable and I would recommend her to anyone. Thank you for taking care of the girls.4

Anna was friendly and accommodating. We had a great meet & greet with her a few weeks before the overnight stay. The dogs and cat got on well with her, and she was inquisitive and eager to ensure she had all the important information for taking care of them. While we were gone, she was reliable and communicative. She responded quickly to our texts and sent lots of pics and videos. The house was left in great order, and the dogs and cat seemed happy and content when we returned home. Overall a great experience.

He was so accommodating and sent pictures daily of our boy. When we got home our boy was happy to see us but kept going to the door wondering where he was! We'll definitely have him again!

Abby was wonderful with my two almost senior hounds for an extended house sitting stay! She was attentive, communicative (just the right amount to let us not worry and enjoy our vacation), followed instruction related to each of the dogs quirks, and overall provided great care. I would definitely recommend Abby and use her again! It isn't always easy to find someone who can stay at your house for several days. Thanks, Abby!

Kate was an absolutely amazing sitter for our girl Islay—genuinely one of the best we’ve encountered on Rover, from our first interaction. She responded promptly, was delightful to meet when we did our meet and greet, asked insightful questions about Islay’s habits and preferences, and gave her one of the happiest weekends she’s had in a while! We got tons of great updates and photos showing Islay living her best life. It really showed in all of Kate’s time with us and with Islay that she both understands and truly loves dogs, and we came home to a healthy, happy pup, a sweet handwritten note, and a spotless house (not at all expected but appreciated nonetheless). My only regret is that Kate is moving out of state, but if you ever get a chance to hire her, do it!! She would absolutely be our new go-to. Thank you, Kate, and Islay sends her love!!
