“Alex and Bethany treated Sunny just like the princess she believes herself to be, but also challenged her with long walks, new spaces, and some nearby unfamiliar animals (cattle). She could not have had a better experience--as testimony, when we came to pick her up, she hopped up in the car, but then turned back to give a Bethany a little goodbye kiss. I think that says it all--straight from the dog's mouth (or nose). (I should also mention the outstanding photos and videos of her stay!)”

“Remi is an anxious dog, but after this boarding experience, I noticed a big difference. He was much calmer when I picked him up, and it did not take him days to de stress like usual. When we arrived, Kimberly greeted us outside with her dog, who is extremely friendly and calm. Even though Remi was on a leash, he handled the interaction well, which honestly surprised me. Throughout Remi’s stay, Kimberly sent pictures and regular updates. She played fetch with him, which is one of his favorite activities (other than eating). By the time he came home, he was happily exhausted. We are so glad we found Kimberly and highly recommend her. She is someone we will definitely continue to return to.”

I worked for Lollipop farm for about a year as an adoption counselor but decided to part ways with the career as I’ve found other hobbies. “Jessica did a good job feeding my cat and giving her meds and her infusion. I hired Hessica to house sit my cat with overnight. She she said couldn’t do the overnight, I let it go, then she said that she couldn’t stay the whole day with my cat, she will be in and out all day, I let it go. I paid her a premium to house sit, what could I do? I had an auto accident and didn’t feel well so I let it go again. My cat will cry if she is left alone, I have a very elderly and frail husband that was at home and kept my cat company otherwise I would cancelled my trip and stayed at home. If I hire someone to house sit it’s at one price, to come in and out the whole day it’s at another price. In the future I will not repeat this kind of arrangement again.”

I have a plaque above my french door to the back deck and yard and it says "Agenda for the day; dog in, dog out,etc) I have a ramp down into yard as well. Your dog will be cared and loved and supported the whole time; lots of toys here and beds; pup and human. I grew up with dogs and I was the one who took care of them, and that love for caring and training has only grown. I’m the type of person who needs a lot of “outside time” so my soul dog Murphy and I spend a good amount of time playing in the courtyard and going on multiple walks a day; I truly don’t know who’s happier. Currently, I have a very open schedule and it’s just Murphy and I at home all day. About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 10 years old. I was responsible for walking the family dog when I was younger, volunteered at a shelter walking dogs every Saturday morning for 5 years, and have owned a dog myself for the last 20 years. My current dog, Bruce, and I are a registered therapy dog team, which required a lot of training and building of trust between us. He's a border collie (though he's slowed down in his old age) that needs his daily walks and play time. I understand how stressful it can be to leave your pets with someone. You need to be able to trust them and I promise to take care of your dog with as much love and care as I take care of my own. I have 4 cats, so you pup MUST be good with cats. I work from home everyday so I am able to take care of potty breaks as needed and provide attention and playtime throughout the day. Building trust with an animal is etremely important. I am careful to keep an eye on body language so that I know when an animal wants more or less attention, needs to go for a walk, or needs to play. My own dog has been trained to walk on a loose leash by my side and does not pull. I've had plenty of experience walking shelter dogs who had no training though, so I can handle quite a bit. I regularly interact with my cats depending upon what type of interaction they want. I have two cats who love to play with toys on strings, and two other cats who prefer to be showered with pets. I am a believer that if you pay attention the animal will let you know what it's boundaries are.
About: I didn’t grow up with dogs of my own but all my friends had dogs and some of my family did, too. I’ve been around Great Danes to little chihuahuas. I do take care of my best friends two dogs when she is working her 12 hour shifts which includes letting them out to potty, feeding them, giving treats and of course all the rubs and lovings. I currently work part time at a doctors office so my afternoons and evenings are very open. Doing care in the morning before work is also not an issue. I do start work at 7am, but I am happy to stay the night or get there early before my shift. I unfortunately would not be able to offer services in my home unless it was a caged or tanked animal because I do have 4 cats currently. One of my cats is absolutely terrified of dogs.

About: A little bit about me, I am going on to my second year at MCC and after plan on joining the Air Force! I currently have a part time job at a restaurant but have gotten the unfortunate news that they will be shutting down my store so I am looking to have this as a part time job for now then hopefully transition it into a full time job. I have been taking care of animals since my early teenage years starting off with a close family friend and her 2 poodle mix’s. They would be dropped off at my house around 9:00 am and then get pick up at 6:00pm. I have bathed, cleaned, and even trained some dogs (simple commands). In addition, I have also taken care of multiple furry felines and have had many cats of my own so I am also quite familiar with their needs as well. I am wanting to soon be Pet CPR and First Aid Certified. I have always been interested in pet-care I just didn’t know how to go about it until I found out about rover! I will be putting all my focus on pet-care as my full time job. Since I am just starting out I will only have weekday availability 11-9 and will only offer drop in’s and walk services Monday-Friday and house sitting Tuesday-Thursday. About: I have had dogs my entire life and I love and care for them all. My own dog is my whole world and I treat all dogs like they are my own. I am a college student on summer break looking for dog walking and dog sitting opportunities. I have lots of free time and can do drop in visits as well. I will respect everything in my clients house and listen to all of the instructions they give me. I will care for the dog and make sure all it’s needs are met.

About: Hello there ! My name is Grace and I am 25 years old living in Rochester NY and love all animals! I worked for Lollipop farm for about a year as an adoption counselor but decided to part ways with the career as I’ve found other hobbies. But since then I’ve always found my way back with fostering and animal sitting for friends and family. I’d love to extend the love to your furry friend too! I can’t wait to meet your animals and give them all the love! So I work full time right now but the hours aren’t the same each week but I’m always free before 9AM and the latest 9PM. So it all depends on the animals needs. I try to have them get use to my scent first, give them attention, and make sure to ask the owner as many questions as needed to make the situation easier for the animal. Since I would be someone new.

“Alex and Bethany treated Sunny just like the princess she believes herself to be, but also challenged her with long walks, new spaces, and some nearby unfamiliar animals (cattle). She could not have had a better experience--as testimony, when we came to pick her up, she hopped up in the car, but then turned back to give a Bethany a little goodbye kiss. I think that says it all--straight from the dog's mouth (or nose). (I should also mention the outstanding photos and videos of her stay!)”

“Remi is an anxious dog, but after this boarding experience, I noticed a big difference. He was much calmer when I picked him up, and it did not take him days to de stress like usual. When we arrived, Kimberly greeted us outside with her dog, who is extremely friendly and calm. Even though Remi was on a leash, he handled the interaction well, which honestly surprised me. Throughout Remi’s stay, Kimberly sent pictures and regular updates. She played fetch with him, which is one of his favorite activities (other than eating). By the time he came home, he was happily exhausted. We are so glad we found Kimberly and highly recommend her. She is someone we will definitely continue to return to.”

About: As a man with a strong love and passion for dogs, I have taken a lot of time to grow my understanding and experience working with these beautiful creatures many call our best friends! My experiences are: -Working at suburban animal hospital - years working at doggy daycare/ training facility’s - studied at animal behavior college for canine obedience training -dabbles in canine fitness - dabbles in canine holistic health and nutrition. I am currently doing pet care as a part time job but as my other endeavors of landscaping and martial arts is flexible, I would love to make a career out of my passion! When your Pets are in my care I want to make there time as fun and stress free as can be. To do that I make sure to have a full understanding of your pets behavior, triggers, fears, and possible injuries to safely modify my care to fit each individual pets needs.
