“We left our two small dogs with Alex for a three day weekend. This is the first time our dogs have not been with us and without any exaggeration, we could not have hoped for a better experience! One of our dogs has separation anxiety issues. Within a short time of being left there Alex had him relaxed and having fun playing and feeling comfortable in his unknown surroundings. We did leave both of them with Alex for a short three hour dog sitting session a few days before so it wasn’t totally unknown, this may have helped a bit. But Alex is a bit of a dog whisperer himself, and is very in tune to the dogs condition and needs. They gave us wonderful updates with videos and photos, as well as texts, keeping us up-to-date on what activities the dogs were involved with at the time. Which was very reassuring. They provide a wonderful environment for the animals.”

About: Dogs have always been a part of my life, and my love for them runs deep. I have two of my own who mean the world to me- I care for them just like I would any other member of my family, because to me, they are family. I work a full‑time job Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., but I do stop home during my hour‑long lunch break for a potty break and some playtime. Once I’m off at 5 p.m., it’s playtime again. I’m also off on weekends. While my yard isn’t fenced at the moment, your pup will enjoy daily walks alongside my two playful dogs who love having extra company. I kindly ask that a crate be provided for times when I need to step out, as I prefer not to leave pets unattended in the home. My own dogs are also crated whenever I’m away.

She she said couldn’t do the overnight, I let it go, then she said that she couldn’t stay the whole day with my cat, she will be in and out all day, I let it go. I paid her a premium to house sit, what could I do? I had an auto accident and didn’t feel well so I let it go again. My cat will cry if she is left alone, I have a very elderly and frail husband that was at home and kept my cat company otherwise I would cancelled my trip and stayed at home. If I hire someone to house sit it’s at one price, to come in and out the whole day it’s at another price. In the future I will not repeat this kind of arrangement again.”

About: I've grown up with all types of pets since I was born. I've had my own cat and dog for 6+ years. Experienced in dog sitting and great with/ even short visits with all dogs! I work 8-5 mon-friday with some flexibility. Crated dogs are welcome with plenty of room to stay during the day while im gone if needed, and will be well taken care of before and after work/ all day on weekends. “We are new to the area and didn't know anyone who could watch our dogs for the day while we moved from our rental into our new house, so using Rover was an obvious choice. We needed someone to pick up our two dogs early at the rental and drop them off late at the new house and Adriana agreed to both. Even when I contacted her to ask if she could keep them a little longer since the move wasn't complete, she agreed to do so without any additional fees. She didn't even complain when one of the dogs threw up in her car and defecated in her home. (Sorry about that!) I would definitely call on Adriana again if the need arises.”
About: I’ve always been the girl who is obsessed with dogs. I grew up with dogs and I was the one who took care of them, and that love for caring and training has only grown. I’m the type of person who needs a lot of “outside time” so my soul dog Murphy and I spend a good amount of time playing in the courtyard and going on multiple walks a day; I truly don’t know who’s happier. Currently, I have a very open schedule and it’s just Murphy and I at home all day. Some evenings I babysit for my family out in Spencerport, but kid friendly dogs are welcome to come with me and there is also a large yard (not fenced in, but there is a 30 ft leash set up). I have a fenced in grass courtyard where the dogs can play, and my apartment is very open and there’s lots of room for dogs to play inside. My dog Murphy does not need to be crated when left alone, but I have a small cage in case anyone who visits needs it. Murphy has more toys than I care to admit, so your pups will have lots to play with.

I am a quick learner if there is something special you need me to do for your pet. I can help most while my big is at school, but I can flex if you need a specific time. About: I didn’t grow up with dogs of my own but all my friends had dogs and some of my family did, too. I’ve been around Great Danes to little chihuahuas. I do take care of my best friends two dogs when she is working her 12 hour shifts which includes letting them out to potty, feeding them, giving treats and of course all the rubs and lovings. I currently work part time at a doctors office so my afternoons and evenings are very open. Doing care in the morning before work is also not an issue. I do start work at 7am, but I am happy to stay the night or get there early before my shift. I unfortunately would not be able to offer services in my home unless it was a caged or tanked animal because I do have 4 cats currently. One of my cats is absolutely terrified of dogs.

“Alicia was professional, friendly and sent daily updates with photos and videos of my dog. Any extra updates I requested were provided quickly. My dog has a lot of anxiety and she was very patient with him and provided him with the attention (and snuggles) he needed. He was clearly very well cared for. I will be using her again in the future!”
“Remi is an anxious dog, but after this boarding experience, I noticed a big difference. He was much calmer when I picked him up, and it did not take him days to de stress like usual. When we arrived, Kimberly greeted us outside with her dog, who is extremely friendly and calm. Even though Remi was on a leash, he handled the interaction well, which honestly surprised me. Throughout Remi’s stay, Kimberly sent pictures and regular updates. She played fetch with him, which is one of his favorite activities (other than eating). By the time he came home, he was happily exhausted. We are so glad we found Kimberly and highly recommend her. She is someone we will definitely continue to return to.”

About: Dogs have always been a part of my life, and my love for them runs deep. I have two of my own who mean the world to me- I care for them just like I would any other member of my family, because to me, they are family. I work a full‑time job Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., but I do stop home during my hour‑long lunch break for a potty break and some playtime. Once I’m off at 5 p.m., it’s playtime again. I’m also off on weekends. While my yard isn’t fenced at the moment, your pup will enjoy daily walks alongside my two playful dogs who love having extra company. I kindly ask that a crate be provided for times when I need to step out, as I prefer not to leave pets unattended in the home. My own dogs are also crated whenever I’m away.
