About: We have a secure fenced backyard for supervised play and potty breaks. Dog hangout and sleep in the living room so they are always near people and part of the home. I’ve raised my own dog from a 2-month-old fluffball into a grown German Shepherd, which has given me firsthand experience caring for dogs through different stages of life. I also trained him to be friendly with my 3 cats, so I understand the patience and socialization it takes to help dogs & cats feel safe, comfortable, and happy at home. She she said couldn’t do the overnight, I let it go, then she said that she couldn’t stay the whole day with my cat, she will be in and out all day, I let it go. I paid her a premium to house sit, what could I do? I had an auto accident and didn’t feel well so I let it go again. My cat will cry if she is left alone, I have a very elderly and frail husband that was at home and kept my cat company otherwise I would cancelled my trip and stayed at home. If I hire someone to house sit it’s at one price, to come in and out the whole day it’s at another price. In the future I will not repeat this kind of arrangement again.”

About: I grew up on farms in the south, so I've been around animals my whole life. I moved to Rochester specifically because of how dog friendly it is. I think dogs deserve to be treated like family because they are our family! I work from home taking care of pets is my main job. If i could fill every hour of the week with animals, I would! I give every dog the time and attention they deserve. I have a fenced in back yard and a friendly dog of my own to keep yours company. I am a quick learner if there is something special you need me to do for your pet. While I have not babysat dogs that often, I am very good with them and have taken care of them before I am currently unemployed so I have plenty of time to walk, play with and take care of your furry little friends/family. I have a cat of my own as well as ferrets that I take care of everyday and play with and I’d be happy to do it for you. As I live in an apartment, they do not allow me to dog sit here. About: Hi I have plenty of personal experience from owning my own dogs and cats since I was 5 . I’v Also had experience from family members and friends relying on me to watch , feed and stop in occasionally to check in on there pets while out of town or at work . I have owned a couple puppies so I can help maintain your potty training schedule , and or any schedule your dog or cat might need and or be accustomed to. My entire schedule currently revolves around taking care of and watching pets . For work and in my free time . If I’m not taking care of mg own pets I’m taking care of somebody else . I work with animals during the week and on the weekends I am available for pet sitting and some occasional week afternoons and week nights I am available I have a fully fenced in back yard for your fur babies to run around in and have fun . depending on the weather I have water toys and pools for pups to play in . I keep an extra dog cage for anyone who crate trains there dog and or prefers them to be locked away at night for safety purposes. There is a park located at the end of my street we can go for walks or local trails if pre approved by parents/owners . i often watch my sister puppy who loves to play with other dogs so if your pup needs a friend he can stop over for play date’s. If pre approved by me and owner. please keep in mind he can be very hyper because he is still young so it would be recommended that they meet first to make sure their energy levels match, but he also is not fixed so any unfixed females or males will not be allowed to have a play date unfortunately so there is no chance for accidents. For any cats I have cat trees for they to sit and lay on for bird or squirrel watching if that’s what they prefer I also have some crazy kittens currently running around at the moment who love to play and can help keep your cat comfortable and happy while being here on for there stay . If your cat prefers there independence I have plenty of space to keep them separated from any dogs or other cats in the house. I do know some animals first aid for minor issues / injuries I will be stocking up on more medical supplies incase a small issues ever occurs .

About: I didn’t grow up with dogs of my own but all my friends had dogs and some of my family did, too. I’ve been around Great Danes to little chihuahuas. I do take care of my best friends two dogs when she is working her 12 hour shifts which includes letting them out to potty, feeding them, giving treats and of course all the rubs and lovings. I currently work part time at a doctors office so my afternoons and evenings are very open. Doing care in the morning before work is also not an issue. I do start work at 7am, but I am happy to stay the night or get there early before my shift. I unfortunately would not be able to offer services in my home unless it was a caged or tanked animal because I do have 4 cats currently. One of my cats is absolutely terrified of dogs.

After our visit or walk, i take a moment to send you a detailed "Report Card." You'll get a summary of our route, their behavior, and-of course- at least 2-3 great action shots from our time together. I treat every schedule with the same reliability I'd want for my own pets. Rochester weather can be unpredictable! For the safety of your pet, I may shorten walks during extreme heat (90+) or dangerous wind chills. About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 10 years old. I was responsible for walking the family dog when I was younger, volunteered at a shelter walking dogs every Saturday morning for 5 years, and have owned a dog myself for the last 20 years. My current dog, Bruce, and I are a registered therapy dog team, which required a lot of training and building of trust between us. He's a border collie (though he's slowed down in his old age) that needs his daily walks and play time. I understand how stressful it can be to leave your pets with someone. You need to be able to trust them and I promise to take care of your dog with as much love and care as I take care of my own. I have 4 cats, so you pup MUST be good with cats. I work from home everyday so I am able to take care of potty breaks as needed and provide attention and playtime throughout the day. Building trust with an animal is etremely important. I am careful to keep an eye on body language so that I know when an animal wants more or less attention, needs to go for a walk, or needs to play. My own dog has been trained to walk on a loose leash by my side and does not pull. I've had plenty of experience walking shelter dogs who had no training though, so I can handle quite a bit. I regularly interact with my cats depending upon what type of interaction they want. I have two cats who love to play with toys on strings, and two other cats who prefer to be showered with pets. I am a believer that if you pay attention the animal will let you know what it's boundaries are.

About: A little bit about me, I am going on to my second year at MCC and after plan on joining the Air Force! I currently have a part time job at a restaurant but have gotten the unfortunate news that they will be shutting down my store so I am looking to have this as a part time job for now then hopefully transition it into a full time job. I have been taking care of animals since my early teenage years starting off with a close family friend and her 2 poodle mix’s. They would be dropped off at my house around 9:00 am and then get pick up at 6:00pm. I have bathed, cleaned, and even trained some dogs (simple commands). In addition, I have also taken care of multiple furry felines and have had many cats of my own so I am also quite familiar with their needs as well. I am wanting to soon be Pet CPR and First Aid Certified. I have always been interested in pet-care I just didn’t know how to go about it until I found out about rover! I will be putting all my focus on pet-care as my full time job. Since I am just starting out I will only have weekday availability 11-9 and will only offer drop in’s and walk services Monday-Friday and house sitting Tuesday-Thursday. I have been around pets for a long time and feel I am able to pick up on signs if anything might be wrong with your furry friend.
