“Kate was lovely and Pancake clearly had a great time and was very relaxed with her. Senior dogs can be challenging in their own way but Pancake was in good hands! She picked up this booking last minute as we had a change of plans and was easy to communicate with to coordinate as well as sending cute updates. Sorry about our kitchen sink misbehaving. 😩”

“Kimberly is great- Emmy loves her! She makes traveling so much easier, and she takes adorable photos of Emmy with the zoomies, playing hide-and-seek, and curled up looking cozy. Couldn't be happier!”

“Aimee helped us with our 3 month old golden retriever puppy today and she was fantastic! He is very bitey at this age and fusses a lot and won't sleep easily, but Aimee was very patient with him. She made sure he is well taken care of before she left even though it was past our agreed time. I would hire Aimee again and recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter! :)”

“I knew she would be great when she came to our house for a "meet and greet", brought a cat toy and immediately started playing with our two babies. I was not wrong - they were wlel cared for, well fed and most importantly, well loved.”

“Jeannette was great. Kept me informed when she got Jake in at night. She even came early the day I departed and stayed late the day I was returning to let Jake out and get Jake in. Everything was perfect when I came home.”

“Meiling was incredibly reliable, ensuring our dogs and cat were well taken care of while we were away. She also kept our home extremely tidy, which was a wonderful bonus. We returned to happy dogs and a spotless house. We highly recommend Meiling to anyone in need of a trustworthy and meticulous dog sitter!”

“Emmy was happy and relaxed when I got home -- that's all I can ask for, really :) More broadly, Elissa was responsible and communicative. I will definitely be working with her again!”

About: A large grassy area in front of the house on a cul de sad, several dog beds, dog-friendly neighborhood walks,...ideal for a fun pet overnight stay. I do not currently have my own dog but sometimes may take 2 dogs at one time. I study massage and dog psychology. Dogs who love touch or massages will get plenty of attention. It is a house with a yard, not an apartment. The yard is not completely fenced, so I use a leash 100% of the time until I know the dog very well, since there are sometimes birds and squirrels making appearances. Dogs spend a lot of time outside with me, weather permitting. Your dog will not spend time outside alone because it's just more fun to be together. About this sitter: I raised two Scottish Terrier litter-mates from puppy-hood and have cared for dogs and cats in their homes, dogs in my home for months at a time, and I enjoy walking dogs. I am soft-spoken and very patient. Shy, or sensitive/scared pets often feel comfortable around me pretty quickly. Pets should have joy in their lives so I enjoy giving them extra attention to help alleviate some of the stress when their owners are away. For overnight care at a clients' home, I like to stay as light and self-contained as possible. I'm in this for the love of pets and like to leave as little a footprint as possible! Experience includes: dog owner, cat owner, dog sitting for over 15 different dogs and 4 different cats (up to 6 dogs simultaneously or combo of 2 dogs/2 cats who were housemates). Why I love dog sitting: I made my first dog friend when I was 6 years old. Lalli was a seeing-eye school drop out and the sweetest dog I'd ever met. My aunt already had 2 cats that I loved by that point. I ended up helping a senior dog get past her separation anxiety and she and her folks gained more freedom. About my yard: Large grassy area in front of the house. Dog park nearby with well behaved friendly neighborhood dog regulars. My experience administering oral medication: I have done it and I will do it if a pet is not a biter or scratcher. I cared for 2 dogs during their hospice. I am open to doing that, at least to help provide respite for the primary caretakers. I am free to spend time with your dogs and/or house sit anytime except Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8am to 7pm. Dogs that stay overnight with me will have a day sitter and dog company during the day. I am willing to accept stays longer than one week but we must discuss first to see if my system works for your animals. I live in a very walkable neighborhood with a park nearby and a large grassy area. I have an afternoon sunning deck, and plan potty breaks every 2-3 hours. Mini-massages and indoor play breaks are available throughout the day between dog naps.

“Silvana was a perfect sitter for our two doggies. She is conscientious, caring, and devoted to her charges. She spent a good deal of time with the dogs on walks and playing in the park. She also seems to have instilled some discipline we had not done. Silvana sent is photos daily with Updates on how the dogs were doing. We will absolutely entrust our doggies to her again.”

“Holly is amazing and professional. Super lucky that I found her for my cat. She made an effort to play with my cat and my cat warmed up to her quickly. Can finally go on vacations with peace of mind.”

“Kirsten was fantastic house sitting with my sweet and occasionally anxious dog Scout! I received regular updates about her arrival, Scout’s activities, and meals which was such a piece of mind while I was away.”

“Robyn was on time, sent so many great updates and pictures of my fur babies and followed all of my overly baring helicopter mom instructions. She is fun and professional and I will continue to book her to take care of the pups!”

About: I've taken care of dogs for 35+ years. My dogs have lived to 16-17 years, so I am familiar with pill schedules and tailored meal plans. I moved for work and secured dog-friendly housing (we're a package deal). Currently, we go on daily walks and outdoor adventures. I have safe spaces so the dog can "take a break", but snuggles are always available. My daily routine ensures your dog will go for a walk every day. Your dog's walks will include time to sniff and explore. I will respect your dog's wish/desire to be pet and cuddled. For example, my dog's morning routine includes nose to tail body rubs and a kiss on top of the head. However, that's the end of "snuggling, petting, cuddling" for the day. :-D I have a fenced yard for my dog that he has access to when needs it. He has his crate that he uses for naps or just to hang out in a comfy spot.

“Lisa and Raymond were great; I really enjoyed them watching my 4.5-month-old puppy, Arwen. She is a fairly sensitive little puppy, and she did absolutely great with them. They were very professional, and they even had to deal with a handoff from another Rover because of a longer trip. It was a very positive experience working with them. My puppy Arwen really liked both Lisa and Raymond. They left our home in impeccable condition and were highly communicative. Lisa was sending multiple daily updates that gave me the comfort that I knew that Arwen was okay, even though we were very far away. It was very clear when I returned that Arwen was in great spirits and she really loved spending time with Lisa and Raymond. And I could also tell from the updates she was sending :). I would work with Lisa and Raymond anytime in the future, and I think they are excellent people who care so deeply about what they do.”

“John took excellent care of Lucy and the house while house sitting. Sent lots of updates and pictures so I felt I knew exactly how everything was going while I was away. Would absolutely love to have John take care of Lucy the next time we need to go out of town.”

“Susan is a responsible and loving dog owner. She always made sure vaccinations were up to date (that's how I learned about the mobile vet service!) to keep her pups health. Cody and Tucker had their daily walks and meals - they even dined "al fresco" on the patio. When my dog heard Susan's car, he would jump over and wait for her at her front door. She took my dog along for walks in the nearby forest/park. When I couldn't find Speckles, I'd walk over and pick him up from her house.”
