“Amazing puppy sitters for my babies. I got multiple pictures every day. Plenty of walks. And my pups were so happy and content when I picked them up. 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟”

“Kathleen is reliable, highly observant, and genuinely passionate about animals. This was observable through her friendly and warm demeanor, and compassionate verbal and physical interactions with Haru and his responsiveness to her. Her photo update was sincerely appreciated and gave a secure sense of transparency. The environment was clean, organized and provided ample free space for indoor and outdoor movement.”

“Melinda was awesome! Her dogs are super sweet and she made our Charlie feel right at home, her and her family are great and were wonderful with our Charlie would definitely recommend her and will definitely be using her again when we are back in town.”

“We had such a wonderful experience with Sharon! This was the first time we left our puppy Lake with her, and she immediately put our minds at ease. She sent daily updates, photos, and videos, which made us feel connected and reassured that our puppy was having a great time. It was obvious from every update that our puppy was happy, loved, and very well cared for. Sharon was incredibly attentive, flexible, and treated Lake like one of her own. When we picked her up, she seemed so comfortable and content, which speaks volumes about the care she received. We are so grateful for the love and attention Sharon gave our puppy and would not hesitate to use her again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and reliable pet sitter!!”

“We are so thrilled with Emily! With how nervous our dog is, he warmed up immediately to her and even started to come out of his shell so soon. Emily is very thoughtful and courteous with how much she updates us. Will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Ana did a great job taking care of our pups! We were a little nervous because it was our first time using the service but she made it easy and kept us updated with messages and pictures!”

“Jazmine (and her boyfriend Norman) took wonderful care of our 12-year-old black Lab, Judy, who is a cancer survivor and a bit particular—sweet, but needy and not a fan of other dogs. Jazmine cared for her in her home, made sure she had her morning medicine, and sent us daily updates with snuggle photos that made us feel completely at ease. Judy was clearly loved and beautifully looked after. Warm, professional, and trustworthy—highly recommend.”

“Gwen took very good care for my little guy (Noel) as he had surgery days prior to his stay. Gwen made sure he took his medicine on time and sent me photos throughout his stay. He’ll look forward staying again next time we’re around. Thank you :)”

“Johanny and her family did a great job caring for my fur baby! Johanny was super flexible; she kept in touch with me and sent me pictures/videos. I’d recommend and would love to have Tucker back in Johanny’s care again!”
“Laura and her family is the sweetest dogsitter family! She kept me updated on how Momo is doing and took pictures for me. She was super accomodating to my last minute extension. About: Hi! I'm Agatha, an animal lover eager to meet new pets:) | grew up around animals my entire life (birds, fish, cats, dogs). As an animal caretaker of many years, l've learned how to instill routine into pets' lives. Pet’s needs always come before my own, and your furry friend will be treated like they are part of the family! I make sure they get enough play time, training, and LOVE. We truly have so much more to learn from animals than they have to learn from us. I’m currently doing freelance work from home so no meetings or anything, your pet will have my full attention ! At most I will be gone for an hour a day to make some food. I live in my family home with 5 huskies who have their own fenced off area in the front side of the house. In the back of the house there's acres of land for your dog to exercise (also fenced off) and have fun. If you need boarding but your dog does not get along with others, l can still provide that as we have a large RV and a little air bnb cabin where I can stay with your pup or cat :)

“Kim was so wonderful. We could relax and enjoy our vacation knowing that our Loki was in good care. She sent frequent updates so we never had to worry how he was doing. Our little guy has some separation and anxiety and Kim was very understanding. We will definitely use Kim again in the future!”

“At this point David has become family. I am truly grateful to have found such a kindhearted and genuine person to look after my baby. I had an urgent need for his services and he responded right away. His kind words were much needed during my trip, and as always he kept me updated on Phoenix. I knew from our first contact that David had an amazing spirit. I can’t thank you enough for your kindness and support during my time of travels.”

“Brooke and Jeremy were absolutely fantastic with Joey! They welcomed him for the weekend and kept me completely at ease with their great communication and updates. I can’t thank them enough for taking such wonderful care of him!”

“Marleny and her family were great. I'd dare say that we've never felt more at ease away from from home. I have no doubt that our smallest family member was safe and secure. Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Chapman home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Chapman.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Chapman sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
