“Wonderful folks who take wonderful care of our pup. We call going to their home as going to camp, and now she gets excited when she hears about camp. She comes home happy and tired from playing. Thank you for taking such good care of Eris!”

“Thank you so much Melissa and Angel! It was my first time using them and they made me feel at ease. They send me pictures and updates throughout the whole stay on how Rocky was doing. See you guys soon!”

“We could not have been happier with the care our miniature poodle received while staying with Sharon for one week. She was an outstanding caregiver for our dog while accommodating our needs, and made the entire process stress-free. Sharon is an exceptional communicator. She gave us daily updates with messages, photos and videos so that we always knew how our dog was doing and within the first day or two we could see he was content and happy. She was astute in reading the nuances of our dog's behavior around food, treats, medication, and playing, and adjusted her responses accordingly. It was evident she treated our pet like part of her family - her nurturing, patient nature and genuine love for animals really showed. Even her family got involved, and it was comforting to know our dog was pampered by everyone. We returned home after our vacation to a happy and relaxed dog who had clearly received excellent care. We recommend Sharon without reservation to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring and reliable caregiver for their dog.”

“Johanny is very responsive, takes good care of Oreo. She is able to accept our booking just a few days before Christmas, which helped us a lot in planning our family trip! Really appreciated! Her family is loving and caring ! Oreo had a lot of fun!”

“David is a wonderful dog sitter. He went out of his way on a holiday to make sure my two pups were comfortable and happy. I will be bringing them back to him in the future!”

“Jahada is an amazing sitter. She was very friendly when we met her. She even sent us photos and videos of my pup. We were very happy and woul definately have Flash sit with Jahada the next time we are in the area.”

“Emily was great again watching Spike. Kept me updated on Spike’s status regularly. I had peace of mind always knowing Spike is in good hands and getting great care.”

“Gwen and family took such good care of Spencer. I love how happy he seemed when I picked him up. It’s clearly a safe and fun place for him to be. Thank you so much!”

“Laura always takes the best care of our coco. We are so happy to have her as our go to dog sitter, especially when we are traveling out of town for multiple days at a time! Thanks again for your flexibility Laura!”

“Perla was amazing with our golden doodle. I always knew what was going on and got tons of pictures. My dog Stormy was well-loved and cared for, and wanted to stay when I came to pick him up. He kept giving Perla kisses. I am so glad Perla was available short notice. I will definitely use her services whenever I have to travel.”

“Jazmine (and her boyfriend Norman) took wonderful care of our 12-year-old black Lab, Judy, who is a cancer survivor and a bit particular—sweet, but needy and not a fan of other dogs. Jazmine cared for her in her home, made sure she had her morning medicine, and sent us daily updates with snuggle photos that made us feel completely at ease. Judy was clearly loved and beautifully looked after. Warm, professional, and trustworthy—highly recommend.”

“I have never met a dog sitter as kind, loving, wise, and experienced in providing the very best care for dogs as Yoko. She treats people with the same warmth and kindness as well. Her husband is also a truly wonderful person. They took care of our elderly dog, and when his condition suddenly worsened, they gave him the most attentive and compassionate care without ever sparing their time or effort. From the bottom of our hearts, we are so grateful that we entrusted our beloved dog to Yoko. Yoko and your husband, thank you so very much.”

“Leila and her two kids did a great job taking care of my 7 year old Yorkie x Bichon Frise baby Toto. I know that Toto was a bit of a handful since she missed her mom while she was staying with Leila for 2 nights. Leila even gave her a bath when it was needed. Would definitely recommend.”

“Matt provided such a wonderful experience for us and our 6 mos old Aussie. You can tell he loves the dogs and provides experienced care. Our pup loves being with him and his two dogs, and came home tired! Matt is excellent with communication and providing update with pictures and texts. We won’t hesitate using Matt’s services again - highly recommend!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Youngsville
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4 out of 5 stars) Michelle and her husband were very kind and welcoming, and their home felt like a safe, loving place for my dogs. I really appreciated the daily photo updates—it meant a lot to see how they were doing while I was away. Michelle was honest and kept me informed when my female dog had some trouble adjusting to their dog, which I appreciated. Although my girl came home with a small cut and a tooth mark, I know dogs can sometimes have little scuffles when meeting new friends. Overall, I’m grateful for the care and attention my dogs received and would consider booking with Michelle again. With a bit more monitoring of dog interactions, this could easily be a 5-star experience!

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
