About: I’m Jenn, thanks for visiting my profile! I’ve been a dog mom for 8+ years, but caring for other people’s pets for double that. I have watched up to 6 dogs at a time in one household. I volunteer and have fostered through Brindle Buddies and Friends. My experiences with dog sitting and volunteering has exposed me to a variety of ages, stages, breeds and sizes! It’s always important to me that when caring for someone’s pets, I am honoring their usual rituals (training, feeding, etc), treating them with love and providing adequate play and exercise! My own dogs have equipped me in other ways as well having trained them both through local dog training facilities and needed to administer medication when needed. My first dog had several behavioral issues that needed constant attention. I am easy going, empathetic and honest. I am a stay-at-home mom as well as a travel agent that works from home on my own accord. I also have access to childcare some days/times of the week which can open me up to fully devote my attention to your pet. In home: I have a very large yard. My dog is contained using an invisible fence. When we host dogs (play dates or dog sitting), we use a 25+ ft tie out that is securely attached to a tree. The tie out creates an opportunity for safe, supervised play with my dog (55 lb mix, 2.5 y/o female), the ability to roam a decent amount of the yard to explore or go potty, or chill in the yard/on my deck. I also live across from a huge park with a track and several nature trails that gives me the opportunity to provide walks of varying distances. My house is two floors, with most of the living happening downstairs as upstairs we only use that space as a guest room and a fitness/gaming studio. My dog gets crated when we leave the house. If your dog is crate trained, this would be my preference for maximum safety and security but I am completely comfortable (if you are) with them having free roam or being isolated in one room; this is only for leaving the house. I would prefer for your dog to sleep where they usually sleep at home. Dog bed, in our bed, couch, crate, etc. In house, of course we will play however they like! Offering toys, bones, chasing games, etc. Whatever you're comfortable with and they enjoy. Clients' home: I will adhere to any requests and boundaries you make. I am comfortable to play, walk, feed, let out, etc.
About: I have loved and taken care of dogs all my life. I’ve had dogs from puppies to seniors and understand how to care to all their needs. Along with that I take the time to really get to know each dog on their own and establish a connection so that each party is happy. I currently work a full time job. I’ve been a pet owner nearly my whole life. I have a beagle named Roxanne, she’s a sweetheart! I am confident in my skills and I would love to be able to help you keep your pooch taken care of! I am available almost anytime of day to do house visits, puppy sit, walk and play with your best k-9 friend. I do update my schedule frequently if there is a certain day I am not available. If you have any specific requests or asks I am very flexible. I do walks, drop ins & over night stays. I typically have a set regimen for how I care for pets if information is not provided or requests are not made. It all depends on what I’m requested for. Drop ins: take your pet outside to use the bathroom, clean up, make sure they are fed and have water and give them medication if needed. Walks: if they have a vest/coat i will put it on for them and take them around the closest neighborhood- or safest close by park. Over night stays: I always begin by making sure they use the bathroom. I will then make sure they are fed, have water and give medication if necessary. If there is an open yard that is enclosed by a fence I will play with them for at least 30-45 minutes before going in for the evening.
