“For the first time in a long time, my family and I took a vacation out of the country. I was especially worried about our dogs as we've taken them with us whenever we've gone on a trip and they wouldn't be able to go with us this time. I found Marleny and Luis as a first time Rover user and was relieved that they were able to care for our two dogs while away. “Equasia is a beautiful person with a kind and generous soul. I was in a bind, looking for someone to watch my cat Leonidas, who has diabetes this past holiday weekend. I was going for knee surgery the Monday after the holiday and needed a safe place for him to stay. Equasia was willing and able to watch him, being ok with giving him his medicine at such short notice. We spoke on the phone so we could have a brief introduction and I was sold. Not only was she able and willing to watch him but I had no way of picking him up after my hospital discharge and she was willing to bring him home. She went above and beyond the care and support that was needed. She kept me posted daily on how he was and sent me pictures of him as well. I will be going through this surgery again and I will be making arrangements with Equasia for care of my little guy Leonidas. About: I’ve taken care of neighbors’ dogs and my own dog for the past several years. My experience has included walking, bathing, and overnight house sitting care. I have also taken care of cats overnight. I am a college student, home for the summer. I am looking to help any time I am needed on a weekly basis until mid-late August when I return to college. I prefer not to do overnight care for longer than two nights at a time. I will also be working around my preexisting babysitting clients. It’s always important to me that when caring for someone’s pets, I am honoring their usual rituals (training, feeding, etc), treating them with love and providing adequate play and exercise! My first dog had several behavioral issues that needed constant attention. I am easy going, empathetic and honest. My dog is contained using an invisible fence. When we host dogs (play dates or dog sitting), we use a 25+ ft tie out that is securely attached to a tree. The tie out creates an opportunity for safe, supervised play with my dog (55 lb mix, 2.5 y/o female), the ability to roam a decent amount of the yard to explore or go potty, or chill in the yard/on my deck. I also live across from a huge park with a track and several nature trails that gives me the opportunity to provide walks of varying distances. My house is two floors, with most of the living happening downstairs as upstairs we only use that space as a guest room and a fitness/gaming studio. My dog gets crated when we leave the house. If your dog is crate trained, this would be my preference for maximum safety and security but I am completely comfortable (if you are) with them having free roam or being isolated in one room; this is only for leaving the house. I would prefer for your dog to sleep where they usually sleep at home. Dog bed, in our bed, couch, crate, etc. In house, of course we will play however they like! Offering toys, bones, chasing games, etc. Whatever you're comfortable with and they enjoy. Clients' home: I will adhere to any requests and boundaries you make. I am comfortable to play, walk, feed, let out, etc.

About: I’ve taken care of neighbors’ dogs and my own dog for the past several years. My experience has included walking, bathing, and overnight house sitting care. I have also taken care of cats overnight. I am a college student, home for the summer. I am looking to help any time I am needed on a weekly basis until mid-late August when I return to college. I prefer not to do overnight care for longer than two nights at a time. I will also be working around my preexisting babysitting clients. I am comfortable with all types of dogs and cats, as I have experience with many different sizes and breeds. It’s always important to me that when caring for someone’s pets, I am honoring their usual rituals (training, feeding, etc), treating them with love and providing adequate play and exercise! My first dog had several behavioral issues that needed constant attention. I am easy going, empathetic and honest. I am a stay-at-home mom as well as a travel agent that works from home on my own accord. I also have access to childcare some days/times of the week which can open me up to fully devote my attention to your pet. In home: I have a very large yard. My dog is contained using an invisible fence. When we host dogs (play dates or dog sitting), we use a 25+ ft tie out that is securely attached to a tree. The tie out creates an opportunity for safe, supervised play with my dog (55 lb mix, 2.5 y/o female), the ability to roam a decent amount of the yard to explore or go potty, or chill in the yard/on my deck. I also live across from a huge park with a track and several nature trails that gives me the opportunity to provide walks of varying distances. My house is two floors, with most of the living happening downstairs as upstairs we only use that space as a guest room and a fitness/gaming studio. My dog gets crated when we leave the house. If your dog is crate trained, this would be my preference for maximum safety and security but I am completely comfortable (if you are) with them having free roam or being isolated in one room; this is only for leaving the house. I would prefer for your dog to sleep where they usually sleep at home. Dog bed, in our bed, couch, crate, etc. In house, of course we will play however they like! Offering toys, bones, chasing games, etc. Whatever you're comfortable with and they enjoy. Clients' home: I will adhere to any requests and boundaries you make. I am comfortable to play, walk, feed, let out, etc.
