About: Tailored pet care, where experience meets compassion. I have a huge heart for all animals! And would care for your pets as they were my own. I am currently working a full time working mom from Sat-Tuesday. I am home with our son We’d-Fri and looking to show our son the value in caring for others. unfortunately i couldn’t bring any furry babies home with me as our home is full, but we can always come visit them in their homes and offer walks, pets, and treats !

About: I have been around cats and dogs my whole life. My first pet sitting job was at least 15 years ago. I have cared for multiple pets at a time, with my first job including 3 dogs, 3 cats and fish. I have a patient, gentle approach. I am open to cats, dogs, fish, reptiles and various other pets. I can administer medication. I work full-time but am off on the weekends. So my Saturday and Sunday schedules have the most flexibility. My work schedule is 7:30 am - 3:00 pm Mondays to Fridays. On those days, I would consider an early morning drop-in visit (5:45 am - 6:45 am) as well as afternoon and evening visits (4 pm - 7:30 pm). I work at a school, so during holidays and in the summer, I will have a lot more availability. In our home, we have a feeding schedule for both our pets to ensure they have the correct amount of calories. Our cat’s litter box is cleaned daily. Treat portions are carefully controlled. Our dog enjoys walks as well as time exploring our fenced-in yard.

About: I’ve owned dogs my whole life and have always had a passion for caring for animals. I currently have two dogs of my own, so I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets. I also help care for my elderly dog with special needs, giving me experience with senior pets who require extra patience, attention, and gentle care. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, or simply lots of cuddles, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I’m currently a student who is mostly remote. I have a very open summer schedule thanks to my summer break. I’m available weekdays and weekends. Or message me if you are in a pinch and I can try and accommodate you! Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I understand how important it is to maintain your pet’s routine, so I’ll follow your instructions closely to help them feel relaxed and at home. Whether that includes daily walks, feeding on a specific schedule, administering medications, bathing, playtime, or simply spending quality time together, I’ll make sure they receive the attentive care they deserve.
“Autumn did a great job! She gave attention to all 5 cats, fed them and played with them. One cat needed a pill and the other an insulin injection. She did great and we would have her sit for us again!”

“Casey was wonderful with our two dogs! She was not just helpful but also extremely caring and respectful. Our older dachshund requires a bit more attention and Casey was so patient with him. She sent us timely updates and lots of photos during her visits and we could tell how comfortable they both were with her. She was great to communicate with and really put our minds at ease while being away from our dogs. We cannot recommend Casey enough and would love to have her come see the boys again soon!”

Extended overnight sits can be accommodated. Walks and Visits are easily doable for me in the morning and daytime. I’d be willing to follow and adhere to any rules/restrictions for myself and their pets to a standard I hold myself to as a responsible human being for a pet.
“We were very pleased with the way Gwen took care of our goldendoodle whole we were away for 8 days. She provided a variety of photos showing our dog walking, sniffing outside, eating, drinking and resting on her bed. We could tell that she was very comfortable. We highly recommend Gwen for short-term as well as longer drop-in visits.”

“Thank you Christine for sitting my kitties and all the pictures you sent with your updates. Christine was quick to respond back when I sent the request. She came over for a meet and greet before I left. Christine was very welcoming very friendly.”

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
