I have been around cats and dogs my whole life. My first pet sitting job was at least 15 years ago. I have cared for multiple pets at a time, with my first job including 3 dogs, 3 cats and fish. I have a patient, gentle approach. I am open to cats, dogs, fish, reptiles and various other pets. I can administer medication.

In our home, we have a feeding schedule for both our pets to ensure they have the correct amount of calories. Our cat’s litter box is cleaned daily. Treat portions are carefully controlled. Our dog enjoys walks as well as time exploring our fenced-in yard.

I have known Karen for over 10 years. She is a very responsible person. Karen loves dogs and has shown great care as a dog owner. She has dog sat for me multiple times and always does an amazing job following directions and giving extra love to my Cabela.
Karen is absolutely wonderful with animals! She is compassionate, patient, attentive, and has such a natural ability to make pets feel comfortable and loved. It is clear that she genuinely enjoys caring for animals and goes above and beyond to make sure they receive plenty of attention, affection, and personalized care. Karen is also responsible, communicative, and incredibly thoughtful, giving pet parents peace of mind while they are away. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will treat their pets like family.
I cannot recommend Karen enough! She watched my Toy Fox Terrier, Jocko, for two weeks while I was away on vacation, and I truly could not have asked for a better person to care for him. From the very beginning, she made me feel completely comfortable leaving him for such a long time. She and her family welcomed Jocko into their home and treated him like he was one of their own. It was obvious from all of the pictures, updates, and adventures she shared with me that he was well cared for, completely loved, and absolutely spoiled! 😂❤️ She kept me updated throughout my entire trip, and seeing Jocko enjoying himself and being included in their adventures gave me so much peace of mind. I never once had to worry about whether he was happy or being taken care of. Jocko was definitely ready to come home when I returned, but he was a little melancholy for the next few days. I think he was missing his second family and all the attention he had been getting! 🥹😂 That alone told me just how much he loved his time with them. Leaving your fur baby with someone for two weeks can be stressful, but Karen made it incredibly easy for me. She went above and beyond, communicated wonderfully, and loved Jocko just as much as I do. If you are looking for someone who will treat your pet like family—not just watch them—I highly recommend Karen. Jocko and I are both so grateful he had such a wonderful home away from home! 🐾❤️

Schedule
I work full-time but am off on the weekends. So my Saturday and Sunday schedules have the most flexibility. My work schedule is 7:30 am - 3:00 pm Mondays to Fridays. On those days, I would consider an early morning drop-in visit (5:45 am - 6:45 am) as well as afternoon and evening visits (4 pm - 7:30 pm). I work at a school, so during holidays and in the summer, I will have a lot more availability.

- Let me know if your pet has any special behaviors or needs that I should be aware of, such as reactivity or resource guarding. I also need to know how your pet is around children, because my young child will often be with me.
