About: I’ve cared for pets of all ages and energy levels- from my parents’ sweet senior Boston Terrier in her final weeks, to their very energetic year-old Bernedoodle who keeps me on my toes! I love getting outside for walks and playtime, but I’m just as comfortable with shy or senior pets who need a slower pace. My two cats at home are total opposites, so I’ve learned how to tune into each animal’s unique personality and needs. Whether your pet wants to play, nap, or just hang out, I’m here to make them feel safe, loved, and totally at ease. I work full time Tuesday through Friday, typically from 7:00 AM to around 5:30 or 6:00 PM. While I’m not available for morning or midday visits during the week, I’d be more than happy to hang with your pets in the evenings! My weekends typically are wide open for me, so I’m fully available on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays! I maintain a consistent routine for my cats to keep them happy and healthy. At the same time every evening, we feed them both dry and wet food to provide balanced nutrition. Their litter boxes are cleaned daily to ensure a clean and comfortable environment. Playtime is very important to them, so my husband and I always make sure to spend plenty of time with them after work so they can get their zoomies out! They’re also welcome on the furniture with us, whether it’s the couch or the bed, to ensure they can always get a snuggle when they need one. (:

We had a bit of an ant problem while we were out of town for the weekend—Susan offered to pick us up some ant baits from Home Depot since she was planning on going the next day anyways (this was on my to-do list, but I didn’t have time to get them before we left for our trip, so I was so stoked to see her kind offer in my messages!) Not only did she buy us ant baits, but she carefully + creatively placed them around our kitchen, making sure our cat wouldn’t be able to reach them. Thank you, Susan!”

About: I am a responsible and reliable person who loves animals, has had five dogs of her own, and wants to help others keep their pets happy and healthy. I’m currently working a shifted schedule. Saturday I am off most of the day. Sunday and Monday I am off the whole day. This is great for people with busy weekend schedules or long work days who need some extra help. I am also an early riser everyday, so I can let you run out of the door without worry or you can just sleep in and know your pet is covered. I ensure all doors are closed and locked when visiting your pup. If we’re leaving for a walk, my attention is fully on the safety of the dog. No matter what, I preemptively cross the street if another person or dog is approaching so we have a fun and safe walk.

“Rachel and Dustin were excellent. They responded to my last minute request and did a great job taking care of my dog, Blue. This was my first time using Rover. They were kind and worked within my schedule. They met me early before I left town on vacation and help me understand how to cancel check-in visits when I unexpectedly came home a day early. I requested check-ins because I wasn't sure how Blue would handle being around unfamiliar people in an unfamiliar environment. However, Rachel and Dustin were so great I would recommend them for boarding and house sitting, as well. They will treat your furry friend like it is their own. “Overall did a decent job. Made sure our cats had food and water and that the litter box was cleaned up. I would have liked more photos and more feedback each day. I appreciated the times that the broom and dustpan pan was used to sweep up extra litter, but maybe put it back in the closet next time instead of across the kitchen counter and stove since that’s where food is prepared. Also, appears that the dust pan chipped somehow and I found the piece over by the tv stand and it came to a sharp point. I don’t care that the dust pan chipped or how it even happened, it’s plastic, but I wouldn’t have wanted my cats to get a hold of that and something accidentally happen.”
