About: My dogs, Tuffy and Jefe, just recently passed due to the sickness of old age. I got them about 16 years ago when I was just a little girl. I took care of them like they were family, cause they were! I trained the dogs many skills; Sit, Stay, Walk, Guard, Talk, you name it. They lost those skills as they grew into elderly animals. Tuffy, had a stroke and his back legs were paralyzed for the last 4 years of his life. I helped him learn how to stand and walk all on his own again. Jefe simply fell a victim to typical elderly animal symptoms. Blindness, Deafness, inability to control their bladders, inability to smell. He grew very timid and was refusing to eat. I helped him how to relearn his balance and learn the vibration in the floors, I helped him relearn to eat. I want to help you with your fur baby, young or elderly! All ages are just as precious as the rest. I'm currently in school part time which leaves me plenty of time to take care of your fur babies! I'm also very active and love taking dogs on walks. I do not offer onboarding services at this time. Any mess made in your home will be cleaned on the spot. I am very respectful of others' spaces.

About: I absolutely love animals. I currently have 3 of my own, two dogs and a cat. I grew working with my mom in shelter and rescues. I love meeting new animals and forming relationships. I will go above and beyond in animal care and ensure your animals are happy and well taken care off. I am currently doing college online so I have tons of time to spend with your animals. I am willing to do it all when it comes to what your animals need! My animals come first I do everything for them and to ensure they have a good life. I will make sure to give your animals the love they would revive when your home and care for them like they are my own

About: I have always been an animal lover. I volunteer my time through BernCo and Eastside Animal shelters. I do this because it recharges my soul. I have experience in puppies and seniors. I get on their level. Look them in the eyes and tell them how great they are. I never rush meeting a new pet. I make sure they know me before thier parent just leaves them. I try to get one on one time first. A short walk. A belly rub. A snack or two ...and always smell like bacon. I have an open schedule. Very flexible with my time. I do not pet sit multiple families at one time. My time is for your pet I use puppy pads for my fosters until they have learned to dig it from my other dogs. I follow the owners schedule. I'm there for you and your pet

About: I currently provide dog-sitting services for coworkers, elderly neighbors, and friends. I don’t get enough bookings from people I know, so I’m joining Rover to hopefully get some more opportunities. My background includes working at an animal hospital, where I was primarily responsible for boarding dogs and cats of various sizes and ages. My duties encompassed walking, feeding, playing with, and maintaining the cleanliness of the kennels. Additionally, I undertook tasks such as bathing animals and caring for newborn puppies and kittens. I also look after my family’s cat and my partner’s dogs, both of whom present challenges due to their dog-aggressive behavior. This experience has fueled my ongoing commitment to studying dog behavior and training techniques to enhance my caregiving skills and better support the animals I look after. I will be fully dedicated to your pet’s wellness and happiness if you book with me! My fees are based on experience, gas expenses, and the work itself. Tips are greatly appreciated as there is a huge service fee on here. Thank you :) Right now, I work full time from 8:30 to 4:30, but I am fully available during evenings and early mornings. For any at home care on the weekends, I will have to leave for 2 hours to check on my own dogs while my partner is at work. When caring for pets, whether in my home or a client's, I prioritize a safe and structured environment tailored to each pet's individual needs. In client homes, I am trusted with overnight stays and have consistently managed multiple animals without any issues, ensuring they are comfortable, secure, and well-cared-for in their familiar surroundings. In my own home, I adhere to a disciplined routine, particularly with dogs, to maintain a sense of order and security. This includes scheduled feeding times, walks, and play sessions, which helps in managing their energy levels and maintaining their health. My cat, Beans, enjoys a more flexible routine, which suits her independent nature. She's free to set her own pace throughout the day, though I ensure her needs for interaction and care are met. Overall, my approach is based on respect, patience, and attentiveness to the unique personality and requirements of each pet, ensuring they feel loved and at ease under my care.

About: Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to take good care of their pets and were never disappointed and could always depend on me. They gladly referred me to others for their pet sitting and house sitting needs. Currently do not have any kids of my own. I have always enjoyed playing with pets of all kinds. I do however have a Siamese cat that I recently adopted. It was not planned but since then he been introduced to all kinds of pets and gets along with them really well. I have had no concern at all. He is non-aggressive, kind, and intelligent. He knows when he needs to stay back and when it is safe to be friendly. When he gets the green light from the other cats and dogs, he'll go for a cuddle real quick. He tends to be an outdoor cat these days but comes in for the night to sleep. I enjoy walking dogs and checking in on pets for clients who ask me to check on them. I like to play and cuddle with pets.

“Kylo absolutely loves Shene. I also enjoyed meeting her. Very upbeat and genuinely kind. I’m looking forward to many many more walks with Shene.”

About: I've had a dog as part of my family for as long as I can remember. I would walk, feed, and clean up after them as I grew up. At the age of 16, I found my pup, Tessa, at the Animal Humane and got my first job just so I could have her (Yes, I paid for everything for her by myself). Since then I have had her by my side through finishing high school, finishing my undergrad, moving cities and states. When I was finishing my undergrad I decided to get another pup so my girl could have a sibling especially once I started working full time. I got my boy, Haka, at six weeks old and now he is over 2yrs. Growing up I use to walk my neighbors pug multiple times a week. When in high school we had multiple dogs in the household that required extra care and attention due to their different personalities and temperaments. With my dog being bigger than the other dogs in my family I had to take measures to ensure all of them remained safe. This mainly involved having different play times and feeding them separately. For example: One of the dogs was very territorial over toys and would lash out at any other dog that came around, however, this pup was the smallest one so it was essential for me to mitigate the opportunity for a bad situation. This involved monitoring the situation at all times when the toy was out, keeping the dogs separated, or removing the toys altogether. I’m currently shifting to a new career field, so I am at home full time and plan to be throughout summer. I am a very active person with two of my own high energy pups that love to play at home or the dog park and loves walks/runs. I live in a townhome that has a relatively small yard and have a dog door that allows for anytime potty breaks. I have a tall back fence completely enclosing the yard. I live with a mile of two parks and the walking path on Tramway, and a few miles from trails or the dog park. The safety of mine and your pets is the main priority, so transparency is very important. All animals have different personalities, and stress of a new environment can change how they behave so it’s important that I know how they may react so I can put proper measures in place to keep everyone safe.

About: For as long as I can remember, dogs have been my favorite animal, and I grew up with one from the age of 6. For the past few years, I had a dog full time while training her to be a service dog through a non-profit, so I am excited to have others around to help take care of. I have some toys and treats already, and love being able to take the dog out with me when I run, or using them as an excuse to get extra exercise. My schedule is very flexible currently, allowing me to be home(or at your house) multiple times throughout the day. I am willing to work on training while your pet is under my care if interested in that.

10. Jackqueline D.
“Jackie is a godsend. My dogs love her more than they love me lol She took excellent care of them, playing, sitting, whatever they wanted. She always stayed with them longer than requested (I requested four drop ins per day while I was away). My house was exactly as I had left it, even though she was welcome to anything in the fridge, etc. I can't recommend her highly enough!!!”

11. Regan H.
“Oh my gosh, yes! I definitely recommend Regan as a person to take care of your pets!! She is my go-to for my dog because he isn’t very trusting and can sometimes be nippy. Koda loves her, though! She has walked him and gone over to hang out with him, let him out, walk snd play with him when I’ve been out of town. She was an intern at an emergency veterinary clinic when she lived in NV and I think that’s probably where she learned how to handle the dogs.”

12. Joy R.
“Joy is a wonderful caregiver and a true friend to animals. Initially she was just filling in for the person who would normally watch my bunnies and kitties when I left town, but she quickly became their (and my) preferred petsitter... so much so that I had trouble convincing them to come home sometimes! I'd recommend Joy with great enthusiasm to anyone in need of loving and trusted animal care.”

16. Sylvia J.
“My mom is responsible, loving caregiver, we used to own 3 pitbulls and she always fed them on time, took them outside when needed, she trained them, took care of there health, she let them sleep in bed with her. Next example of why I recommend her, she feeds wild animals, nursed sick animals and returns lost pets back to their owner that have showed up at her door whether it be a kitten, a dog, turtles, deer. The neighbors called her when there cat needed shaving or need someone to puppy sit! She volunteers at any moment to help animals in need, She'll be glad to work with any animal not to mention her status in being a assistant vet and doggy daycare associate”

17. Shantae E.
“Shantae is amazing with my two dogs. She always goes the extra mile and is always so accommodating. My two dogs can be a handful, but she manages to take such good care of them.”
