I am in the process of acquiring a certification in R+ behavioral training for canines - this is a completely positive reinforcement based program! I strive to work on communication as a solid base for training. Whether you need a drop in during a long work day, or a week away with the family, I will happily keep your pets cozy until you return. My schedule is completely adaptable to your pet’s needs and routine. This is my sole profession, and my goal is to create zero disturbance in the way your pet usually does things. Please feel free to give me detailed schedule instructions. While I cannot board pets in my own home, I embrace any and all safety measures instructed, as well as anticipate any safety issues and resolve them before an incident can occur.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. Growing up, I cared for all kinds of animals, from dogs and cats to goats and chickens. Today, I share my home with three dogs and three cats, so I understand firsthand how important it is to find a pet sitter you can trust. I am typically available in the afternoons and evenings for longer walks, playtime, and one-on-one attention. As a pet owner myself, I understand the importance of maintaining a pet’s routine and ensuring they receive the care, exercise, and companionship they need while you’re away. When caring for pets in a clients home, my top priorities are safety, consistency, and making sure pets feel comfortable in their familiar environment. I take the time to learn each pets routine, including feeding schedules, exercise needs, medication, and any special instructions provided by the owner. I treat every home with the same respect I would expect for my own. During visits, I ensure pets have fresh water, receive plenty of attention and affection, and that doors, gates, and other potential hazards are secure before I leave. I also provide updates and photos so owners can have peace of mind knowing their pets are happy and well cared for while they’re away. About: I have had animals my whole life, and have worked in the pet industry for 6 years. My day job experience has been at 2 different local pet food stores, where I’ve learned a lot about the needs of dogs and cats, as well as body language. My old job had foster cats, so I have experience taking care of up to 10 cats at a time (feeding, litter cleaning, meds, and playtime). I also have pet sat for many of my friends and family members. I love walking! I enjoy taking my own dog on short walks or really long walks to get his energy out. I have experience with high energy dogs that may pull or not be comfortable around other dogs or people. I also have experience with puppies and kittens, and special needs pets. I’ve owned 2 disabled dogs that required diaper changes, meds, and regular bathing and cleaning up after them. I am currently going to school full time at UNM. My schedule is pretty flexible though, and I am willing to work with you! I can come before, in between, or after class and on weekends! I will always want to come meet you and your pet before I start the service. I will take notes on everything so I can keep your pet on their routine, no matter how specific. I want to make you and your pet 100% comfortable! I am experienced with reading body language with pets, so I can tell if your pet is too overwhelmed or nervous. I also love sending updates, including photos and videos, to let you know how your fur baby is doing!

About: I have owned dogs all of my life and understand that they are family members and should be treated as such! I love all dogs from big to small and young to old. While I do not have any pets of my own right now, I would love to help care for yours whether it be feeding, walking, playing, loving on them or more. I am currently off for the summer leaving me plenty of time to care for your pets. From August to May, I work 2 days a week so I will still have plenty of availability. I have two daughters who live with me part time ages 9 and 7 who love pets as well. I would love to care for your pets as you see fit in your home! About: After having three dogs for many years, I am an expert at walking more than one--with expandable leashes, it's like flying three kites at once! In addition to long (or short) walks, I also like snuggling with pups on the couch. I currently have one 20-pound pup who gets along with almost all other dogs and loves having guests. For boarding and daycare, a meet and greet is a must. I have a very flexible work schedule and I mostly work from my home. I love taking frequent walks and petting dogs throughout the workday. I do not have a yard but like taking walks at all times of day, so your pup can still get plenty of exercise. I am familiar with senior dog care and am comfortable giving pills, following special diets, etc.

About: I have cared for an array of animals over the years including dogs, cats, reptiles, chickens and even pet rats! I deeply enjoy time spent with animals which is why housesitting has always been ideal for me! I myself have multiple dogs and cats that are well cared for and your animals will receive the same attention and care! I am a student at UNM, so most morning I do have to head to campus around 9-10 am. All morning care would be handled before then. My classes have me on campus no longer than 4-5 hours before I would be able to check on your animals. Weekends I work 6-9 hour shifts, but if care requires less gaps between visits this time can be taken off to give your pets around the clock care. This would require at minimum 2 weeks notice and cannot be guaranteed. I am comfortable giving pill or liquid medication for your pets. As well as walking any size dog as long as some leash training is in place. I normally will wash the sheets and towels used if staying overnight! I am very cleanly and will leave your home and pets clean or cleaner than when yall left!
