“Shelby took great care of our cat who needs some extra attention, including daily medication and has a bit of separation anxiety. About: I grew up with pets and my mom had a petsitting business we operated out of our home. I helped with that and also worked at a doggy daycare. I'm currently self-employed part-time and can't think of a better way to spend my time than with your fur family while you're away. Available every day of the week and can stay in your home or just stop by a couple times per day! When house/pet sitting, I make sure your pets are played with, snuggled, and fed according to your pet's routine. The important thing I want is to make sure they are safe and comfortable in their familiar surroundings. And I will clean up after myself before the client returns home.

About: I love my own cats, dogs and reptiles of all ages in my household! I will absolutely love your animals as our own 💕💕 I have been in Montrose for 8 years. I always go home during lunch to let our dogs out. My lunch varies. Either I go home 11-12, 12-1 or 1-2. I usually have holidays off. My dogs are kennel trained. I have a fenced yard with plenty of room to run around. My cats and dogs are friendly and vaccinated. My cats are fixed, our male dogs are not. One of my cats is blind.

About: Lifetime pet owner with a passion for animals, ready to spoil your four-legged friends! Scroll to the bottom to learn more about me! In the meantime, here are some points on how I aim to take the utmost care of your pets. ⬇️ HOUSE SITTING: 🏡 Your pets should hardly notice you’re missing! They will be treated as my own. 💛 🏡 YEARS of experience house & ranch sitting. Ask for references! 🏡 Comfortable with complex routines involving pets & livestock. (i.e. dogs, cats, horses, cattle, chickens, goats, pigs, rabbits, working dogs, etc…) 🏡 The goal is for you to return to a clean home & healthy, happy pets! 🏡 Will review a list of questions prior to your departure covering pets, livestock, chores, & home maintenance! Attention to these details are important! (i.e. vet info, trash day, water shut-off, etc...) 🏡 IF staying overnight, all linens, trash, dishes, etc.. will be cleaned and replaced prior to your return! No one wants to clean when they get home from a trip. 🏡 NEVER will I ask to bring my pets or someone else to your home. DOG WALKING: 🐶 Happy to walk BIG or little dogs! They don’t need perfect leash manners. 🐶 Let’s go for a 30 min free “consultation” walk. Make sure it’s a good fit! 🐶 Willing to follow any training protocols you currently have in place. 🐶 Have my own sturdy leashes or can use yours, whichever is preferred! 🐶 Will only walk one client’s dog(s) at a time. 🐶 Very conscious of our surroundings to avoid conflict with other passing people, dogs, wildlife, bicycles, etc… Also carry deterrent spray! 🐶 No “lolly-gaggin” here! Let's get those pups out the door asap to maximize walk time! 🐶 During the walk, happy to keep them moving to burn some energy -but also get some sniffing in as that provides great mental stimulation! DROP-IN VISITS: 👋 In Montrose, available up to 3x’s per day. 👋Outside of Montrose (20+ mins), available 1x - 2x per day. 👋Weekdays & Weekends -my timing is flexible! 👋 Dedicated to quickly doing chores & MOSTLY making your pets feel special! 👋 The ONLY reason I’ll have my phone out is to send cute update pics. 📸 BOARDING & DOGGY DAY CARE: ❗️Will resume offering this in the future, when Boogie has recovered from spay surgery and Leuko is a little older. Stay tuned! About Me: I've always had a passion for animals, and was raised with dogs, cats, horses, pigs, goats, cows, chickens, birds, fish, hamsters, etc... Through high-school I worked for a horse boarding facility cleaning stalls, exercising horses, and ensuring diet & blanketing protocols were followed with precise detail. After high-school, I spent four years wrangling for guest ranches in the summer, packing for outfitters in the fall, and house sitting during the off seasons! All this to say, I have met and cared for a huge variety of animals under various circumstances. I keep a watchful eye out for illness or injury, and feel confident in my responses to emergency situations. I'm not afraid to ask questions when I'm unsure, either! I take pride in following your routine precisely, sharing updates frequently, and giving you the greatest peace of mind that your pets, plants, & home are in good hands while you're away. Currently I'm studying for my Bachelor's degree, full-time via online courses. This means I will not leave your pets for extended periods while boarding, have flexibility to schedule visits that best suit your pet's needs, and can "work from your home" while housesitting if need be. I have a lot of experience with senior pet care, and am confident in my ability to keep your puppy's training on track while you're away! Please reach out with any questions, I'd love to discuss your situation more and see if we'd be a good fit! My schedule is flexible, as I'm a full-time student working on earning my Bachelor's degree online from home. Meaning, I can adjust my schedule to suit your pet’s needs! My goal is to take the utmost care to follow all routines and directions! Plus, strive to keep your pets healthy and home tidy! I will watch for physical injuries, monitor their "excrements" for signs of illness, and watch for conditions across ALL your pets / livestock including: ear infections, pink-eye, bloat, colic, abscesses, UTI's, etc... In addition to keeping an eye on pet health, I take watching for property issues like broken fences, leaking pipes, strange appliance noises, etc… seriously as well! I want to make sure your home is the way you left it, if not better! I’m fine with lengthy ranch routines morning and night. Again if questions arise or illness or injury is suspected in any of your animals --I will reach out with photos right away. I do have experience navigating small & large animal emergencies and react quickly to these situations!

“Andi was great! She was sensitive to our dogs needs, and did exactly what we wanted her to do. I will definitely ask her to come by again when NFR dog is alone at the house. Thank you, Andi!”

“We have been using Laura for the past 5 months to visit with our pups about 1-2 days/week. We have two high energy rescue dogs and Laura and Sam have done an amazing job with them. They even taught one of them to roll over:) Laura is reliable and is almost always available when we need her. I highly recommend her.”

About: I worked at a local shelter so I have knowledge in caring for fur babies. I have had animals my whole life. Lots of Love I work in the morning so my afternoons are free for a walk, some love & care, brushing them as well. I love to hike with them. I have a fenced yard & 18 acres to hike with them. Specific meal times & supplements if necessary. They get brushed everyday, clean eyes.

About: I've grown up around critters and been an animal lover before I could talk. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, cats of all personalities, rodents, fish, and more. I work part time, so I'll have plenty of time to spend loving on your pets. My schedule is super flexible! You can reach out and schedule me for just about any time. I care for your pets in your home just like you would. I follow instructions to the letter and am not afraid to reach out if I have questions. Your pet's health and happiness is my highest priority!

About: I was with my boy Sylo for almost 14 years now, and I know how incredibly important it is to trust that your companion is being *very* well taken care of. I live on a quiet piece of land right outside of Paonia. Daily walks are non-negotiable, and I love to get out on mellow adventures as much as possible. I go on a 30-45 minute walk every single morning, and another long walk every evening. I work from home so I make sure to take them outside for potty breaks or short walks very often! We go on leash walks every day- but if we go on an adventure, I am more than happy to keep your companion on a long leash if that makes you feel more comfortable.

About: I have had my own dogs and cats ever since I was a kid. I have taken care of both family and friends pets. I usually make a good impression on pets:) I don’t have a job right now because I wanted to take some time off before college, so I will have plenty of time to play with your pets! I have two cats of my own, and I have had dogs before so I know how to take care of them:) I have an old dog crate and a piece of my backyard is fenced, it was for my old dog that passed away. I know lots about cats and dogs for the most part. I can provide your pets w/ excellent care.

“I really don’t want to leave a review! Only because Kimmy is amazing and I don’t want to share her! My girl loves her, and to hear how comfortable and happy she was around Kimmy made my heart happy! Sammi is a rescue and doesn’t easily trust, so knowing she warmed up to Kimmy is a great sign! Kimmy is warm and so kind. I loved all the pictures and updates! Will definitely trust her to watch my girl again.”
