About: Hi! I’m Chelsea. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I know how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your pets. My goal is to provide a calm, loving, home-style environment where your dog feels safe, comfortable, and cared for like family. I offer full-time doggy daycare and boarding with personalized attention, structured care, and lots of affection. I’m especially patient with shy, anxious, senior, and high-energy dogs, and I understand that every pet has different needs and routines. I take time to learn your dog’s personality so they can feel as stress-free and at home as possible while you’re away. Your pet’s comfort and safety are my top priorities. I provide: * Daily photo and video updates * Frequent potty breaks and supervised playtime * Feeding based on your routine * Medication administration if needed * Extra patience for nervous or senior dogs * A clean, calm, low-stress environment * Plenty of love, attention, and cuddles As a pet owner myself, I understand how hard it can be to leave your animals with someone new. I strive to communicate clearly, be dependable, and make sure both pets and owners feel comfortable throughout the stay. Whether your dog loves to play, relax, snuggle, or simply needs a peaceful place to stay while you travel, I’d love to help provide a safe and caring second home for them. I can’t wait to meet you and your pets! 🐾 I currently provide full-time doggy daycare and boarding, which allows me to give pets consistent supervision, frequent potty breaks, playtime, attention, and a calm home-style environment throughout the day. I have three dogs that are well behaved and friendly when properly introduced. The bond you share with an animal matters and all animals deserve love and to be well cared for which is what I’m looking to help do.
About: I don’t have professional dog-walking experience yet, but I truly love dogs and enjoy being around them. I’m patient, responsible, and gentle, and your dog will be in safe and caring hands with me. I have a flexible schedule, so I can fit pet care into my daily routine easily. I’m available on weekdays and weekends, and I can adjust my time to meet your dog’s needs for walks or check-ins. I focus on safety, calmness, and trust. In a client’s home, I follow all instructions carefully, keep doors and gates secure, and make sure pets always stay on leash outside. I treat every dog gently and respectfully, keeping their routine, comfort, and well-being as the top priority.

I understand that pets are family, and I treat every dog as if they were my own. Whether your dog needs a walk, a drop-in visit, or some extra love and attention while you're away, you can count on me to provide a safe, caring, and fun experience. I love getting to know each dog's unique personality and making sure they feel comfortable, happy, and loved. I can't wait to meet you and your furry family member! My schedule is very flexible, and I’m currently available most days and times throughout the week. Because I’m in between jobs, I can accommodate a variety of schedules, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and even last-minute requests when available. I love spending time with dogs, so I enjoy being able to give them plenty of attention, exercise, and care while their owners are away. For walks and drop-in visits, I focus on making pets feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while maintaining their normal routine. During walks, I make sure dogs get plenty of exercise, potty breaks, and one-on-one attention. For drop-in visits, I’ll provide fresh water, feed them if needed, take them outside for potty breaks, play with them, and give them lots of love and companionship. As a professional dog groomer with years of experience working with dogs, I’m comfortable with a variety of breeds, sizes, and personalities and always prioritize their safety and well-being. I also make sure to keep pet parents updated with photos and messages so they can feel confident their furry family member is in good hands.

“We love having Sharon come help with Winnie. She is great about sending updates and pictures of the adventures they have on their walks. I was a bit nervous having a stranger come to my house when I was out, but Sharon came over before the walks started so we could meet and it gave me so much reassurance. She is wonderful!”

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Cedar Valley. On Rover:
- 93% of walkers can help with special care needs
- 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
