“Michelle and Brian are the best! I had a last minute request for a play date with Ari and they were quick to accept. Oakley had a great day with his new best friend!”

“Our guy has a great time today! We were in town for a family event and needed to have him somewhere fun and safe while he couldn’t be with us. He was tuckered out at pickup. We’ll be back if needed!”

“We love Lorena! My dog is always so happy and excited to see her. I know he feels safe and at home during his stays. When he comes home he’s always calm and relaxed like he’s had the best day. We feel so lucky to have found her!”

“Jeein was a wonderful sitter. She’s super friendly and easy to communicate with. She took my dog on nice long walks and always kept me updated, which I really appreciated. My dog is blind and has separation anxiety, so I’m usually nervous about leaving him with someone new. But Jeein stayed by his side the whole time, and he was able to relax and rest comfortably. I could tell he felt safe with her, and that means everything ❤️”

About: With my part-time schedule and the flexibility to adjust as needed, I will be the perfect companion to run alongside your super active teenage GSP, or to give endless butt scratches to your old man Pittie, and everything in between - whatever they need! Although I care deeply for all animals, I grew up with a few puppies and was often found sleeping in the dog beds instead of my own - that's how connected I felt to them. Because of this strong inclination, I made sure to always surround myself with as many "babies" as possible and have been the top pick to pet-sit for numerous friends, families, neighbors and coworkers throughout the last several years. Then in 2022, my partner I welcomed our own furbaby (Ash), and I dove head first into raising a puppy! Since having Ash, I have grown passionate about ensuring our animals lead enriching and fulfilling lives. While our yard is completely fenced, dog-friendly and spacious, I still aim to explore a nearby park or trail everyday at least once a day, then a play/learn session or an evening stroll around our very quiet neighborhood in Finn Hill. I quickly gained 'Star Sitter' status within a month of joining Rover because I love hanging out with your pets and can't wait to meet them ♡ I'm currently working part-time and write my own schedule so I will have plenty of time to play with your doggies and keep them active and happy. We also love to visit parks and go on hikes if that's something you're interested in. Your pup can access our large fenced yard that we keep dog-friendly at all times via doggy door, and we have three medium-xl crates if needed. Our resident dog loves to play but also is very perceptive to when another dog wants space.

About: We uphold stringent safety standards in our facilities, from clean and comfortable spaces to proper dog-handling practices, ensuring a worry-free experience for you and your pet. Day or night, our team is on site, ensuring every bark, yawn, or playful jump is under our loving watch.

“Nabina, Joonseok and Kona (dog) are the best second home for our dog Lily. Kona is a sweetheart who loves to play. Lily always comes back tired and happy. Nabina and Joonseok are wonderful dog parents who care for lily like she’s their own. I can tell by the way lily is when I pick her up and drop her off that she loves the time she spends at their house. I’m so glad we found them!”

“Ina and Mika were terrific hosts. Ina was able to fit me in for day care on a Sunday. Luna had a ton of fun running around with a pack of GSD! They were all very friendly and I received plenty of pictures and videos to make sure they were safe and having fun! Would definitely book again, thank you Ina for being a great host.”

“When my partner and I had a family emergency, Carmen came to help us when we were in need. She has a wonderful fenced in space in her yard where Comet was able to run and play. We are so thankful for Carmen and her care was top notch! I highly, highly recommend Carmen for dog care. We will be using her services again!”

“Amanda and Lucas put our minds at ease with their easy-going, calm and welcoming personalities. Kona settled in easily with Keelo showing her the way. We’re feel good about leaving Kona in such capable and caring hands!”

“Vanessa is great and Toto had a wonderful time with her and her dogs. She is responsible and sent us a reminder a day prior to our booking and keeping us updated with Toto's photos. We will definitely bring Toto back.”

“Vicki was warm, responsive, helpful and a pleasure to work with, and our little boy had a fabulous time! His extra needs were seamlessly integrated, and we all look forward to the next time he gets to have a day with Vicki.”

About: I’ve had pets my entire life and have cared for all kinds—dogs, cats, and even smaller companions like birds and hamsters! Aside from caring for my own, I’ve also been trusted with the pets of neighbors, family, and friends. With experience across different personalities and needs, I always make sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved. I’m on summer break until the fall and only working part-time, which means I have plenty of time and flexibility to care for your pets! I’m available to book every day—while my hours may vary, I’m always willing to adjust and communicate to make sure your pets get the care they need. In my home, I make sure pets are safe and comfortable at all times. While I don’t have a fenced yard, I do have a secure line attached to the ground so pets can enjoy outside time safely. I also have one friendly, crate-trained dog (a Chihuahua-Terrier mix named Toby) who gets along well with other pets. With every client, I always follow their routines and instructions to keep pets comfortable, cared for, and stress-free.

“Emmanuel's care and attention to detail for our pup was absolutely wonderful. I appreciated his questions, clear communication and interest in getting to know my gentle giant from the initial meet and greet. It also helped that Emmanuel's lab, Luann was there to play and greet my pup right away. I enjoyed receiving updates, pictures and a GPS tracing of his walk with my pup . I highly recommend his care and service.”

“We needed a last minute sitter for Tank, our 2 month old and Jan was more than accommodating! Tank clearly had a great time with Jan, Elena, and the other pups. Jan sent us photos of Tank throughout the day which made me feel good because this is the first time I have trusted him in the care of someone else. We picked him up and he was tired and ready for bed. Even though it is a bit of a drive from work, it was well worth it and I will definitely be using Jan as a sitter again!”

“Melia is an amazing dog sitter. She is extremely friendly, attentive and flexible to my puppies need. Molly had an amazing time at her place. Melia gave constant updates on how Molly was throughout the day including cute videos of her playing with other dogs.”

About: New to Rover? Save $20 by using code https://www.rover.com/sit/kathleeng11 About me: I am life long animal lover. For my career, I am a devoted wildlife biologist with a specialty in animal behavior and physiology and I work from home. On the pet care front, I began caring for pets (other than my own) including working at kennels and in vet offices in my twenties. I would love to care for your cat or dog and give him/her loving attention. Ample experience in special needs, meds. Dogs do great here with attention all the time, a dog door, fenced yard, walks to Meadowbrook pond and play time at JAMs field across the street. Cats do wonderfully too -many cozy spots available in our house; if shy, no problem because the whole downstairs can be for your cat if need be. I will treat your pet as a honorary temporary family member here and I strive to listen well to the needs/preferences/routines you express for your pet and with my very flexible schedule I look forward to meeting them. I work from home which is fantastic - so I can easily flex to your pet’s routine as needed. My 13 year old helps out too from time to time. I am an attentive pet sitter and I love the company animals. If your pet is a guest at my home, I will strive to maintain the routines you express to me, including feeding times, exercise, play, and nap times. If I am house sitting- again the focus is on the needs/routines you communicate & I deliver my services, including other house sitting chores ( like watering plants, getting mail, etc) as needed with the upmost respect and care!

“Gulnara took amazing of Bear for two daycare days and he was very comfortable and happy with her! I appreciate all the friendly communication and photos, we would both be very happy to return for daycare in the future!”

About: I love watching all types of dogs! If you want someone that is responsible and patient with animals I’d love to help. I’ve also got a lot of energy when it comes to meeting new dogs! I grew up with Golden Retrievers and taking care of Labs and Terriers. I love going for walks and have spent a lot of time with my dogs doing on and off leash training. I’m used to getting to know new dogs and building a relationship with them. I also have a lot of experience with puppies and older dogs so there isn’t too much in terms of care needs that I won’t be prepared for! I’m currently a remote student pursing my teaching certificate. My schedule is very flexible at this time meaning I’m able to give your pet my full attention during my breaks from classwork. I grew up with a few dogs including one rescue and am used to meeting a dogs’ energy and dealing with reactivity to fireworks, other dogs, etc. I walk my Golden at least twice a day for 20-30 minutes to meet his and my exercise needs. If I’m out for a few hours at a time, I find it’s always best to get his energy out before leaving. I usually have a lot of energy to burn so I’m happy to take dogs on long walks during sits and visits.
