About: With my part-time schedule and the flexibility to adjust as needed, I will be the perfect companion to run alongside your super active teenage GSP, or to give endless butt scratches to your old man Pittie, and everything in between - whatever they need! Although I care deeply for all animals, I grew up with a few puppies and was often found sleeping in the dog beds instead of my own - that's how connected I felt to them. Because of this strong inclination, I made sure to always surround myself with as many "babies" as possible and have been the top pick to pet-sit for numerous friends, families, neighbors and coworkers throughout the last several years. Then in 2022, my partner I welcomed our own furbaby (Ash), and I dove head first into raising a puppy! Since having Ash, I have grown passionate about ensuring our animals lead enriching and fulfilling lives. While our yard is completely fenced, dog-friendly and spacious, I still aim to explore a nearby park or trail everyday at least once a day, then a play/learn session or an evening stroll around our very quiet neighborhood in Finn Hill. I quickly gained 'Star Sitter' status within a month of joining Rover because I love hanging out with your pets and can't wait to meet them ♡ I'm currently working part-time and write my own schedule so I will have plenty of time to play with your doggies and keep them active and happy. We also love to visit parks and go on hikes if that's something you're interested in. Your pup can access our large fenced yard that we keep dog-friendly at all times via doggy door, and we have three medium-xl crates if needed. Our resident dog loves to play but also is very perceptive to when another dog wants space.

Aside from caring for my own, I’ve also been trusted with the pets of neighbors, family, and friends. I’m on summer break until the fall and only working part-time, which means I have plenty of time and flexibility to care for your pets! In my home, I make sure pets are safe and comfortable at all times. While I don’t have a fenced yard, I do have a secure line attached to the ground so pets can enjoy outside time safely. On the pet care front, I began caring for pets (other than my own) including working at kennels and in vet offices in my twenties. I would love to care for your cat or dog and give him/her loving attention. Ample experience in special needs, meds. Dogs do great here with attention all the time, a dog door, fenced yard, walks to Meadowbrook pond and play time at JAMs field across the street. Cats do wonderfully too -many cozy spots available in our house; if shy, no problem because the whole downstairs can be for your cat if need be. I will treat your pet as a honorary temporary family member here and I strive to listen well to the needs/preferences/routines you express for your pet and with my very flexible schedule I look forward to meeting them. I work from home which is fantastic - so I can easily flex to your pet’s routine as needed. My 13 year old helps out too from time to time. I am an attentive pet sitter and I love the company animals. If your pet is a guest at my home, I will strive to maintain the routines you express to me, including feeding times, exercise, play, and nap times. If I am house sitting- again the focus is on the needs/routines you communicate & I deliver my services, including other house sitting chores ( like watering plants, getting mail, etc) as needed with the upmost respect and care!

About: I love watching all types of dogs! If you want someone that is responsible and patient with animals I’d love to help. I’ve also got a lot of energy when it comes to meeting new dogs! I grew up with Golden Retrievers and taking care of Labs and Terriers. I love going for walks and have spent a lot of time with my dogs doing on and off leash training. I’m used to getting to know new dogs and building a relationship with them. I also have a lot of experience with puppies and older dogs so there isn’t too much in terms of care needs that I won’t be prepared for! I’m currently a remote student pursing my teaching certificate. My schedule is very flexible at this time meaning I’m able to give your pet my full attention during my breaks from classwork. I grew up with a few dogs including one rescue and am used to meeting a dogs’ energy and dealing with reactivity to fireworks, other dogs, etc. I walk my Golden at least twice a day for 20-30 minutes to meet his and my exercise needs. If I’m out for a few hours at a time, I find it’s always best to get his energy out before leaving. I usually have a lot of energy to burn so I’m happy to take dogs on long walks during sits and visits.
