About: I grew up with dogs and cats, have fostered both and been a cat owner. I have also helped friends and acquaintances with their pets while they are away. My experience includes walking dogs, scooping 💩, changing litter boxes, providing food and play to pets, and completing general house sitting tasks. I have also administered eye medications to kittens before and allergy meds to dogs. I have also lived on a couple of farms and helped take care of horses, goats, chickens, and even a rabbit. I would love to take care of your pet and offer you the peace of mind to know I will love on and care for them as if they were my own :) I’m self-employed, so I have plenty of time available to care for your pets. Specifically, I am a Certified Public Accountant who quit her consulting job to become a part-time farmer! I am currently operating my own micro-farm growing organic vegetables and flowers in South Austin which allows my schedule to be very flexible. I am available for boarding, house-sitting, pet walking and drop-in visits to feed and play with cats and dogs (and other animals on a case by case basis). I am happy to visit and care for a variety of pets by feeding and playing with them as well as helping with any household tasks including plant watering, checking the mail and throwing out trash/recycling. I am currently living in a tiny home on my own on a large plot of land with plenty of access to unfenced outdoor space if you are interested in boarding your pets. I am also very happy to come to your home for drop-in visits and/or to stay overnight if you and your pets would be more comfortable with that option. For dogs, I am happy to spend time indoors with them playing with toys and giving them good belly scratches as well as take them outdoors either into the backyard and/or on walks. I have experience both with big dogs including a German Shepherd, Great Pyrenees lab mix, Australian Shepherds, and shelter dogs as well as smaller dogs including a Teacup Pomeranian and an Iggie. I’m very active, so if your dog has a lot of energy and likes to go on runs, I am happy to run with them as well. For cats, I am happy to match their energy levels - if they are playful and energetic, I engage with them and encourage play. If they prefer to sleep or rest or are more shy, I am happy to just be around and pet them/brush them if they would like or just give them space. I am happy to care for other pets if requested and I am comfortable with the care instructions. I have previously cared for a tortoise, which mainly consisted of feeding him and giving him water.

For dogs staying with me, I’m home throughout the day for plenty of attention, supervision, and frequent potty and play breaks in our fenced yard. They’re welcome to hang out with me while I work or find a comfortable spot to relax and nap. When I’m house sitting, I can work remotely from your home so your pets can enjoy the same companionship while staying in their familiar environment. I’m happy to follow their usual schedule for meals, walks, potty breaks, medications, playtime, and downtime. Wherever I’m caring for your pet, I do my best to maintain their normal routine and make their time away from you feel as comfortable and familiar as possible. Whether I’m caring for your pets in my home or yours, their safety and comfort are my priority. I pay close attention to body language, behavior, and each pet’s individual needs, and I’m happy to follow their normal feeding, medication, exercise, and care routines. In my home, I have a fully fenced yard and plenty of space for dogs to play, relax, or take a break when they need one. I’m experienced with multi-dog households, different play styles, and recognizing when a dog needs some space. I also have gates to block access to stairs or separate areas of the home when needed, as well as multiple large crates for dogs who are crate-trained and feel most comfortable having their own space. When I’m house sitting, I’ll care for your pets and your home with the same attention I give my own. I’ll follow your instructions closely, maintain your pet’s usual routine, respect any household rules or safety precautions, and make sure your home is secure while you’re away. I’m also happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pets are safe and well cared for.

About: Trained my Australian shepherd when I was young and have lived with animals my whole life. I am very good at reading animal body language and personalities from having animals my entire life. All 4 of my childhood pets lived well past their regular life expectancies due to very diligent vet work and exercise. I have dog say senior dogs with special needs, puppies, cats, rodents, and birds. I love animals and honestly any excuse to meet new ones is very exciting. I can always work Sundays and Fridays and I have time Tuesday and wednesday evenings to check in on them when needed or go on a little walk. My cat is fed 3 times a day for a total of 2/3 cup of food, he has a play routine before bed, is let on the balcony for fresh air with his harness and a line connected to the door so he cannot get to the edge of the concrete. He takes his flea meds every month, and goes to the vet every 6 for a little check in as he’s on a small weight loss journey. I work 6-8hrs a day 5 days a week but luckily he has a a cat roommate to nap and play with while I’m gone

About: Hello there! My name is Sofía, and I can’t wait to care of your pet! Here are some things you should know about me : I have one dog living with me. I have volunteered at animal shelters, wildlife rescue facilities, and animal therapy organizations. When volunteering at shelters, I bathed dogs, cleaned up their poop, played with, and walked them as well as played with cats. Additionally, I enjoy outdoor activities very much, so I am definitely in shape to walk your dogs and play with them. I hope I can be of service to you and your dog(s). My backyard is unfenced, except for the patio area and a room sized square for dogs to pee/poop in. Dogs are not allowed on furniture, but they can be on the bed if they stay on top of the blanket. If you know your dog won’t run away, we can play in the unfenced area of the backyard :) I do have a 30 ft leash that I normally use to play with my dog outside. I’m free most of the time. I just need more advanced notice if it is an overnight stay over just a drop in at your home. I will care for your pets however is needed and instructed. I have taken care of multiple senior dogs and dogs that take oral medication.

About: I have taken care of other pets since elementary school. Neighbors and friends, even farm animals like sheep and goats. I can take care of it all! I currently work part time and I’m just looking to make some more money over the summer. I have some extra free time while I’m on break form school so why not make some extra cash to save. I currently live in an apartment but there are multiple dog parks close by and plenty of space for nice long walks. It’s only me and my dog I’m my apartment right now but she is very well mannered and mellow.
