About: With the exception of a few years during college, I have always had animals in my life! I grew up always having a cat and a dog in the house and taking progressively more responsibility for their care as I got older. Now, I'm owned by two dogs (a boxer mix and a lab mix) and two cats, one of which followed my boxer and I home one day and decided to stay. They are by far the best part of my day. With all these fur babies, I've run the gauntlet of pet care challenges, from pilling cats, to dealing with allergies, to working on behaviors like marking and excessive barking. I don't claim to have it all figured out, but what I do know is that it's made me incredibly patient and compassionate with any animals in my care. Plus I've learned a trick or two along the way! I currently work for myself (from home) as a research consultant. While I do have periodic meetings throughout the week, I usually have a significant amount of flexibility in my schedule during the mornings and afternoons. I often find myself going out on multiple long walks throughout the day and generally finding any excuse I can to be outside. So why not use that time to hang out with some new animal friends? My flexible schedule means that I can accommodate most any pet needs. I go for multiple walks every day both on my own and with my own dogs, so it's easy to incorporate lots of activity in your pet's day. I also have an enclosed front porch that we all love sitting outside in the shade on, just enjoying the fresh air. And on hot days, I even have a kiddie pool that one of my dogs likes to play in to cool off. Both my dogs are very friendly and would love to make new friends! One of my cats even enjoys horsing around with the dogs. My dogs have free reign in the house, but usually hang out with me. I'm happy to have your dog(s) make themself at home as well or to crate them if that's your preference.

About: We are a mother daughter duo that will ensure your pet is always taken care of. We have been taking care of dogs all our lives and have had dogs of all kinds that were loved and cared for like our own children. We have tended to puppies up to senior dogs that require medication and special care. Rover is our full time job, with both of us able to help in a pinch the flexibility we can provide weekly or daily is something we are proud to provide. I have a fenced in yard, space to crate a dog and also can put gates if needed to keep dog in certain areas. I am also able to administer any medication if needed.

About: I have two dog of my own, a cat and any farm animals. I’ve handle animals age ranging from 15+ to freshly born. I’ve also taken care of canines with different medical conditions (cancer, diabetes, etc). My eldest pup currently has stage 2 kidney diseases I’m a stay at home mom. I do put my 3/4 of my kiddos on the bus and have to been home to get them off. The youngest is with me. I have 5 areas, my eldest pup is leash only. We go on long walks in the woods all the time. My youngest pup is very well trained, we take him just about everywhere when we have the chance.

About: I have taken care of neighbors, friends, and family’s pets! I have worked in a boarding facility for 1 year and absolutely love all furry friends! I’m currently working part time, so I have extensive availability to play with your pups! I do have trips but I am generally always in the area! I love to run around and play with any furry friends and am willing to do any tasks you need to make sure they are happy!

About: I’ve been trusted to housesit for small-medium dogs for 3 years including feeding, bathroom breaks, long walks, and play time. I am training to be a licensed counselor, and I am a calming presence to be around. I love to play with pets and help them feel relaxed! I’m currently in online graduate school, so my schedule is flexible to your needs! I am available to care for your pet in the mornings, an afternoon break, or evening walk and playtime. About: After my experience working at a boarding kennel, my friends, family, and colleagues looked to me for pet care. Ever since I’ve been walking, feeding, and looking after animals of all different sizes for my people. I’ve loved being able to take care and spend time with animals and making sure people feel comfortable knowing their pets are safe and loved with me. I’ve distributed insulin, eye drops, and oral medicine, and I can bathe/brush/clip nails as well. Starting the 28th of November, I’ll be off all day Sunday and Saturday. On weekdays I’ll be able to check in before 8am and after 5:30pm. I feed and prepare food based on feeding instructions, clean up after pet made messes. I walk on designated routes for any desired amount of time. I try to give as much snuggles if the pet is comfortable, if not I respect animals boundaries

About: I have been a vet tech and animal educator in the past. I’m very flexible with scheduling, and understand last minute things come up. I am happy to work with whatever pet needs you have! For locals I can pop in as often as needed, I’m happy to be flexible with your needs. My availability right now is wide open. I am comfortable with pets that need medical care, pets that are less comfortable with people/strangers/ other animals, and the less common pets. I believe in full transparency, and will provide your pets with the care you would give them yourself.

About: I have had dogs, kitties, bunnies & hamsters my entire life. I have a big goofy lab of my own who is my world so I understand the hesitance of entrusting strangers to take care of your furry family members. I take pride in treating other people’s pets as I would my own, while also respecting boundaries & rules put in place by you as their owners. I am currently only available for drop ins & walks and would love to help take care of your beloved pets 💛 I am currently transitioning out of active duty military and hoping to use rover as part time work. My schedule is very open & flexible to meet your needs. I can crate your dog, walk your dog, play or provide enrichment time, feeding or administering medications as needed. Happy to help enforce minimal training during a pop-in to maintain consistency.

“Kiley was good with communicating with me and was sweet with my dog, however, I booked a 30-minute walk and my dog was only walked for about 20 minutes, with the total visit lasting around 23 minutes. I expected to receive the full time I booked and paid for. She also brought her daughter without discussing it with me beforehand. Thankfully, my dog loves children, so it wasn't an issue for us, but I do think this is something that should be approved by the pet owner in advance.”

About: I have been pet sitting since I was 11! I've taken care of various animals of all different sizes, breeds and ages, including, dogs, cats, small critters (guinea pigs, hamsters), and even horses! I understand it is important to get the best care possible for your family member and it takes a lot of trust! I am currently a graduate student at George Mason, so I have lots of weekend availability to play with your pet while you run errands or go on a quick weekend trip! Safety is of utmost importance to me and I will always ensure that your pet is as safe as possible. I have experience with crates for both cats and dogs if needed and will always be sure to check in about any safety concerns regarding your pet.

My family and I live in a single-family home in Nokesville, VA with a large fenced backyard for plenty of safe playtime. We do not currently have dogs of our own, so we love welcoming visiting pups into our home. Requirements Dogs must be friendly and comfortable around other dogs. Boarding is limited to dogs under 80 lbs. Care & Environment I am home full-time, allowing me to provide attentive care throughout the day based on each dog’s needs. Daily routines typically include: Morning and evening feedings Playtime and interaction throughout the day Evening walks Our home includes safety partitions and a large fenced yard to provide a safe and comfortable environment for dogs of all ages, including senior pets. Additional Notes I occasionally volunteer at my children’s schools and may be away for a few hours at a time during weekdays. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. Please feel free to reach out with any questions. We care for your pet as closely as possible to their normal schedule. Please provide a "cheat sheet" for me of potty times and snack breaks. We care for your pet as you do. For example, if you say that you do not want your pet to be on furniture we will keep your house rules at our home to make sure your pup does not regress.

About: Even though I don’t have professional pet experience I own 2 dogs who I walk frequently and have pet sitter for dogs in the past. I also am a very responsible and dependable person and will make sure your dog or dogs are safe and happy. I walk my dogs twice a day and I feed them in the early morning and nighttime.
