About: I’m new on Rover, but over the past 15 years, I have provided dedicated pet sitting services for a wide variety of families, including those living on military bases. This extensive background, combined with owning a high energy Brittany Spaniel and a gentle Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, has given me a deep, well rounded understanding of different breed temperaments, strict home care rules, and structured routines. Whether your dog requires high energy exercise, specialized attention, or careful adherence to specific neighborhood boundaries, I bring the experience, trust, and reliability needed to keep your pets safe, happy, and completely at ease. Hi, I'm Daniella! I have a massive love for dogs and bring over 15 years of dedicated pet sitting experience to the table. Throughout the years, I have cared for pets for many different families, including those on military housing. I am also a proud pet parent myself to two wonderful dogs: a high energy Brittany and a sweet, cuddle loving Cavalier King Charles Spaniel . Raising two very different breeds has given me firsthand experience managing contrasting energy levels, temperaments, and unique care routines! I believe our pets are truly family, and my top priority is ensuring your pup feels safe, loved, and completely at ease while you are away. Because I work with a highly flexible schedule, I am able to dedicate plenty of time and structured care to your dog. Whether they need energetic play sessions, a long walk to explore, or just a cozy spot on the couch to relax, I adapt completely to whatever your pup's routine looks like. When your pup is with me, you can expect regular text updates and plenty of cute photos so you can have total peace of mind! Safety is my absolute top priority, and I treat every guest pup with the exact same vigilance and care that I give my own two dogs. Because I have 15 years of pet sitting experience including caring for pets inside military housing communities I am highly disciplined, respect home rules, and am deeply familiar with maintaining strict safety guidelines and neighborhood boundaries. In My Care & Environment: 📍 Supervised and Secure: Pets under my care are never left unattended in unsecured areas. I am extremely mindful of door safety, ensuring pups are secure before any entryways are opened. 🐾 Tailored to Their Needs: With a high energy Brittany and a gentle Cavalier of my own, I know how to keep energetic dogs safely stimulated and small or sensitive dogs completely protected and relaxed. 📸 Clear Communication: I believe trust is built through transparency. You will receive regular check ins, updates, and photo updates so you always know your baby is safe, happy, and thriving. 📋 Strict Adherence to Routines: Whether your pup has specific dietary restrictions, precise medication schedules, or distinct boundary training rules, I follow your instructions down to a T. My goal is to provide a reliable, peaceful, and incredibly safe environment so you can travel with absolute peace of mind!

About: I strictly follow your dog’s personal and walking routines to prevent any anxiety, while sending frequent photo updates so you can travel completely worry free. Working from home allows me to easily blend my day with your dog’s needs, offering frequent play and potty breaks and endless cuddles while working. By staying at your place, I minimize your dog’s anxiety. I provide dedicated overnight care, plenty of playtime, and frequent updates so you feel connected.
“Cecilia is a godsend, she took good care of my sweet baby and kept me updated and sent pictures. Highly recommend and look forward to booking her services again in the future.”

“Brooke was a wonderful dog sitter for our 11 year old labradoodle Gracie . We were away for holidays and she stayed ar our house and sent daily updates and photos and was very communicative and Gracie adored her. She is very experienced with animals and gives so much effort in everything she does . We Really appreciated having her take care of of Gracie and stay at our house while we were aware as it gave us peace of mind . A+ sitter !! We highly recommend Brooke”

“Jared and Tanya were AMAZING. They came and house and puppy sat for a weekend while my husband and I were away. They took such great care of our 1 year old boxer puppy. They were incredibly attentive, professional, so kind, and kept me updated all weekend long. This was our first time booking with them and we absolutely will use them again in the future for over nights. Highly recommend!”

About: Reliable, clean and active. I am an absolute animal lover and have been blessed to have watched, walked and cared for many beautiful dogs and cats over the last 15 years. I have good energy and can provide care and love for even the most spunky pets. I am a flight attendant and have extended periods of time off while I'm home. I also have a great deal of flexibility in my schedule and can take time off to accommodate long stays. Love! Play, exercise and attention are a must. Gentle discipline if needed and cleanup. I'm happy to brush and wash the pets as well for an additional fee. Whatever the animal needs I'm happy to give them my full attention.
“Kathleen was amazing with our three pups. When first meeting with her, they took to her immediately, which is always a good sign. She checked in with us several times a day, with text messages, photos and videos. The pups looked very happy. Thank you so much Kathleen, we definitely be using your services again!”
“Jen was the best sitter I could have found for my 115lb. Golden. I knew the day I met her and watched how Charlie reacted with her that she would be the person I could trust to stay with him. It was our first time leaving Charlie with anyone other than family, also it was the longest amount of time we would be gone. She stayed with Charlie for 6 days and 5 nights. Our flights were delayed both going and coming home. Jen was so accommodating, she came earlier than I had booked her for and stayed later at the end. I was completely at ease knowing Charlie was going to be so well cared for, even loved. He's such a creature of habit and Jen followed our routine perfectly. It was obvious from the way he reacted to Jen that he knew she was a good person and a dog lover. My husband and I will feel so much better about going away and leaving our dog, knowing that we will be able to call on Jen again. We were so fortunate to have found her!! Thank you so much Jen!!”

About: Life long animal lover looking for some extra furry snuggles. Let me take care of your baby! I am located in the Forestdale area of Sandwich. I do have one dog of my own a very sweet and energetic Australian cattle dog and shepherd mix named Scottie. He is friendly with most dogs, as long as they are friendly in return. I take care of both dogs & cats. I am comfortable with small, medium and large size dogs. I have had cats, a bunny and a family dog growing up so I am used to being around lots of animals. I am also experienced with senior dogs as well as medication administration. I also have experience with e-collar training if that is something you wish to work on with your dog. I recently stepped away from my full time job so my availability is very open. Please reach out to me and let me know about you and your pets needs. I look forward to meeting and getting to know you both! I recently stepped away from my full time job in the culinary industry so my schedule is quite open and flexible. I have AM & PM availability. I have a dog of my own and have had multiple family pets over the years. I have always struggled with trustworthy and reliable pet care so it is my goal to provide exactly that for you.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Cataumet
Carly was a dream come true for us! She took care of our mini dachshund in our home for 2 weeks and we don’t have one negative thing to say about her! She taught our dog new things, took her for several walks a day, followed her schedule perfectly and gave her more love and cuddles than we could have hoped for! Not only did she do all of this, but when we came home we came home to a beautifully bathed pup. a nice clean home, sheets changed on the bed and everything ready for us to take over. She is the best in the industry!

FAQs for House Sitting - Cataumet
Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 686 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Cataumet. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Cataumet walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Cataumet maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Cataumet choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Cataumet. On Rover:
- 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
