About: For as long as I can remember there has been a dog or cat in my home. I have had the privilege of being a pet owner and caring for animals that have brought me nothing but joy. There is nothing quite comparable to the love you have for your fur baby and I can ensure that I will take care of your babies as I would my own. I have experience with both small and large dog breeds as well as a lot of experience caring for cats. Currently, I am a Park Naturalist and work five days a week from 7:30AM to 4PM. I am available after 5PM on weekdays and am available for full days and overnights on weekends. I do work the occasional weekend, but that will always be reflected in my availability calendar. The animals in my home are of the utmost priority to me and it would be the same in your home. I know how hard it can be to leave your animal for the weekend or even just the day, but to know they are with someone who would care for them the way you would makes all the difference and I can ensure that I can be that person for you.
“Bryan made our first experience with Rover extraordinary. He took amazing care of our 2 special need hounds; and I can’t thank him enough for the peace of mind we had leaving them for the weekend.”

“Kimberly was an amazing dog sitter for our two pups! She followed all of our instructions, communicated with us while we were away with pics and updates and even did some light housework!!! We will def be hiring her the next time we go away!”

About: Over the past few years I have been caring for family and friends pets while they are away. I have just fell in love with all the dogs I have meet along the way. I also have spent time walking at a local rescue which has just taught me so much about dogs and how to be around them and work with them on and off the leash. I continue to grow and learn something new from each dog I work with. It’s a great pleasure of mine. I’m a stay at home mom with both my boys off at school during the day so I have plenty of free time to take care of your pets. I offer drop in visit, dog walking and even over night visits in your home. I will care for your pets like I would care for my own. I will give them lots of love and affection with safety being number 1. I am very careful to follow all the owners need and wants when caring for their pets. I love sharing updates and picture with the owners on my visits. I take pride in my work and make sure I am on time for every job. I am careful to lock up behind me and make sure the pets are secure before leaving them. I am very respectful of people’s home and property as well.
“Shalini took great care of Buttercup while we were away overnight. She communicated well, sent lots of photos and updates, left the house in pristine condition, and kept Buttercup great company, as evidenced by the happy dog we returned home to. We’d absolutely use her again in the future!”

“Nia was so thoughtful and caring with our dog, Jiffers! We booked Nia for an overnight service in our home and we couldn’t be more happy. She sent us picture updates throughout the day and kept us informed on how he was doing. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve taken care of animals my entire like. I’ve also had dogs my entire life. I’ve taken care of my neighbors dogs whenever they were away and all throughout my high school career. I currently work full time at Oakhurst Veterinary Hospital. I work 11:45AM-7:00PM Tuesday-Thursday, 7-3 on Friday and on Saturday’s I work 8:00AM-4:30PM. I am fully willing to work with anyone to help take care of their pets. I am always cautious with other peoples animals and their homes. I never bring in personal items and always make sure I clean up after everything I do.

About: I’ve recently moved to NJ about two years ago. Prior to moving here, I have walked many many dogs including Great Danes, Samoyed, German Shepherds, Yorkies, etc. On occasion I would cat sit my friend’s cats whenever they go on vacation. I love ALL kinds of animals, but do the best when they’re friendly to humans. Im high energy and like to be out going, so I do prefer dogs with lots of energy to play, walk, or run with! I’m a college student working part time over the summer. Despite that, my job is very flexible and I can move things around to fit whatever works best for you. My Saturday & Sunday are busy from 4pm-11pm and my Mondays and Thursday are busy from 11am-10pm, but I can move things around if needed. I only ask that I would get a week in advance notice! I absolutely love playing with animals. I’m high energy myself and seeing any animals happy makes my heart melt. I would take probably hundreds of photos of the fur balls! I work best with animals that are already tamed or don’t bite. I’m also very good with following any type of instructions and would ask questions to sort out any concerns prior to pet sitting.
“I had to take a quick trip out of town on business so I left my four month old Great Dane puppy with Ginny and Mary. They had previously done a couple of drop in visits with her. I left A LOT of instructions, but they did everything that I asked, including getting up at 2 AM to take her out to the bathroom. When she developed a tummy issue the communication was fantastic. When I got home, my Zoey couldn’t decide who she liked better, me, or Ginny! I’m very grateful for the care they gave her.”

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and grew up on a farm, so caring for animals has always come naturally to me. I currently work at a dog daycare, where I regularly handle dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. I’m experienced with feeding routines, playtime, and closely monitoring behavior to keep every dog safe and comfortable. I’ve also administered medications and given insulin shots to dogs, so I’m confident caring for pets with special needs. I treat every pet like my own and always make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for currently work part-time at a dog daycare, so caring for dogs is already a big part of my daily routine. I work mornings on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday, which leaves me available in the afternoons and evenings on those days. I’m also available most weekends, and I’m working toward having an even more flexible schedule soon. I’ll always make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, care, and consistency I prioritize a safe, calm, and comfortable environment for every pet. While I can offer care in my home when needed, I typically prefer caring for pets in their own home where they feel most relaxed and secure. I have experience handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments through my work at a dog daycare, and I always supervise interactions closely and follow each dog’s routine. I’m also comfortable with crating if needed and have experience administering medications, including injections

“Skylar was well taken care of while away for a mini trip! Karren was great with keeping Skylar’s medicated eye drop schedule. It was wonderful to come back to a clean space and greatly appreciated! Thanks Karren for all of your help!”

“Ashley was a terrific dog and house sitter. I appreciated her quick response to any questions I had about Sasha. She followed all my instructions to the letter. I will definitely be a repeat customer.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, horses, hamsters, and even goats since I was 14! I am extremely passionate about providing the best care for any animal, any age and any size. My schedule is extremely flexible. I work a part-time job once a week and I currently attend college 2 days a week. However, college is ending mid-May! I do not particularly plan on housing animals in my own home, since I do live with an elderly family member. Sorry for the inconvenience!

“Sheryl is the best! Our maltipoo loves her and we feel so comfortable when Sheryl stays with him. It’s so nice to be able to enjoy vacations and work trips knowing he’s in great hands.”

“First time using Laura for house sitting. She took excellent care of both my Pickles and my home during my 7 day vacation keeping me updated regularly and sending photos every day. Will definitely be using Laura if I’m going away again.”

About: I’m so excited to meet your fur baby! I am an avid dog lover and would love to treat your baby like I treat my own. ❤️🐶 I can always figure out a way to help with whatever you need. I work 8-4pm during the week at school and am off during the weekends. Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Cassville walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Cassville maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Cassville choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
