Danielle did an amazing job staying overnight for a week with my 2 dogs. She was communicated well the entire time and went above and beyond to make sure my dogs were taken care of. She took great care of my house while she stayed over and left it very clean. Highly recommend Danielle and I will definitely be using her services in the future!

Boryana took amazing care of our senior pitbull, Brady. She was very patient with his quirks and eccentricities (e.g. he has acquired a habit of lying down for rests mid-walk). He often seems a little out of sorts after we come back from a long trip, but this time he was very relaxed and happy. Communication was top notch and our house was left in perfect condition. We can't recommend Boryana highly enough, and hope she'll be available to take care of Brady again in the future!

About: Hello. I have been working professionally with animals for the last 5 years. I spent three years working at a pet store working/caring for pets in the store that included dogs, cats, and exotics. And now for almost 3 years I have been working as a veterinary assistant/technician at an emergency and speciality hospital. That means I have experience to help with your pup/cat with special needs and helping administering medications! I grew up with animals all my life. I currently have a dog (Onyx) that I have personally trained myself and a cat (Masha) that I have also trained to do a trick or two for a treat. I have a huge love for animals and just like I do for my patients I work with, I will treat your baby with love and care as if it were my own. I currently work full-time at the veterinary hospital so I’m only available Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. That includes mornings, afternoons, and most nights. Unfortunately I cannot watch/bring your pets to my home. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. Whether your companion is energetic, shy, elderly, or has medical needs, I’ll make sure they’re safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. Experienced with senior pets, diabetic pets, seizure patients, post-operative care, medication administration, mobility assistance, and other special-needs animals.

About: ‼️Not accepting bookings from August 10th 2026 on, unfortunately I will be going back to school and unavailable in NJ‼️ I am a college student with two dogs of my own at home. I am the biggest animal lover and treat all pets as if they were my own! I do not remember a time in my life where I haven't been involved in some way with animals. Whether that has been working on a farm, volunteering at a small animal clinic, showing my pet rabbit, or competing in horse competitions, all pets of many different shapes and sizes have been at the forefront of my life! I am highly active and will happily take your dog on walks, runs, hikes, and beach days if you'd like me too. I am also totally down to play inside and keep your pup company at your home! I am accustomed to giving dogs medication as I have a senior dog myself. I will be sure to send lots of pictures and videos while your away because I know how hard it is to leave our best friends! I can be highly flexible with my schedule. I work part time and therefore can typically make most situations work, just reach out and let me know what works best for you! They will be treated like a king/queen! I am used to an excited dog on a leash. I can be patient and accommodating for slower pups as well. I will follow directions exactly and have no issue with picky and particular dogs.

Denise was amazing and took great care of our maltipoo during our week long vacation. We were so worried about leaving him for the week and didn’t want to put him in a kennel. Denise exceeded all our expectations and we are so happy to have found her. I finally feel like we can go away without the stress of leaving him!

I cannot recommend Bryan highly enough! He cared for my two dogs, including my elderly dog with special needs, for ten days and did an exceptional job. My older dog requires extra attention and patience, and Bryan handled everything with kindness and professionalism. He kept me updated regularly, followed all care instructions, and made sure both dogs were happy and comfortable. It was such a relief to know they were in good hands while I was away. I will absolutely book him again in the future!

About: I’ve been raising and caring for dogs for over 10 years, and they truly are my world. I’ve been raising and caring for dogs for over 10 years, and they truly are my world. I’ve raised four puppies and have hands-on experience with dogs at every stage of life—from energetic young dogs to seniors, as well as rescue, reactive, and special-needs dogs, including caring for a dog with cancer. I know how stressful it can feel to leave your pets with someone new—I’ve been there myself and struggled to find reliable care for my own dogs. Because of that, I take trust, communication, and consistency very seriously. You’ll always know what’s going on at home, and I’m happy to send regular updates and photos so you can feel completely at ease. I’m calm, attentive, and very tuned in to each dog’s needs and routines. Whether your dog loves playtime, quiet companionship, or just sticking to their usual schedule, I make sure they feel secure and cared for while you’re away. I follow your dog’s routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and secure in their own space. I can prepare food the way your dog is used to, give medications and vitamins (I know all the tricks!), and adjust to any specific needs or preferences. I’m currently available for evening visits and overnight stays in your home (6 pm - 7 am) —perfect if you’re traveling but have daytime care already arranged, or even if you just need someone to stay with your puppy while you’re out for the evening. I can prepare food the way your dog is used to, give medications and vitamins (I know all the tricks!), and adjust to any specific needs or preferences. I'm currently available evening and overnight stays in your home. Ideal for someone going away, but has a regular dog sitter or day care during the day. Or if you simply want to go out to dinner and need someone to watch your puppy. I have a full time (work from home) job. I am available 7 pm - 7 am after family takes over watching my own fur babies. Weekend availability on case by case basis. I am only available to watch your dogs in your home, where we can follow the schedule they are used to. We can play, practice tricks, eat, go for walkies and cuddle :)

About: Dogs and cats are more than pets, they're family. I understand that more than anything and I will treat them with care, respect, and love. I work a part time job and have lots of time on my hands, so (unless stated otherwise), I'll be there for your furry friends! I don't mind transporting dogs in my car for the park or walking them around the neighborhood. And of course, I'll make sure they're well taken care of at home.

About: I've had dogs since I was 14 and have taken care of them for family and friends over the years. That includes small and big dogs, young and old. Dogs in general seem to be drawn to me. I'm currently working part-time so that gives me more time to care for your pets and give them the attention they need and deserve. The best thing I can do is make sure your pet is as comfortable as possible while you're away. I do that by keeping them in their same routine everyday and giving them a lot of attention.

About: I offer thoughtful, in-home pet care designed for comfort, safety, and peace of mind—especially during holidays and extended stays. I welcome no more than 4 dogs at a time, ensuring each pet receives individualized attention in a calm, structured environment. Pets are never left alone, and I carefully separate them by size and temperament. Cats enjoy their own private, quiet space, completely separate from dogs. I have experience caring for rescue dogs and cats, senior pets, and pets who may need extra patience and reassurance while their families are away. During holidays and long stays, I focus on keeping routines consistent so pets feel secure and at home. Neighborhood walks and medication administration are included at no additional charge, and I provide plenty of love, supervision, and one-on-one time. For safety and handling considerations, a $25 additional fee applies to dogs over 100 lbs. Pet care is a family-supported service, and I work closely with my daughter Alexny, allowing for constant supervision, attentive care, and a warm, home-like environment where your pet is treated like family—even while you’re away. Pet care is part of my daily routine, not something I fit in between other commitments. Because I care for pets from my home, I am able to provide consistent supervision, regular walks, timely meals, and plenty of one-on-one attention throughout the day. I plan my schedule around the pets in my care and follow their individual routines closely. With the support of my daughter Alexny, pets are never left alone, and care remains steady and attentive during weekdays, weekends, and holidays. This allows me to offer a calm, structured, and reliable environment where pets feel safe and cared for at all times. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and emotional well-being are always my top priorities. I provide care in a calm, clean, and structured home environment, and pets are never left alone. I limit the number of pets I care for so each one receives close supervision and individualized attention. For outdoor time, I offer a large enclosed deck and a spacious backyard where one side is fenced and the other is secured with a portable fence to ensure dogs are safely protected at all times. Outdoor play is always closely supervised. I can also crate your dog if needed, always following your preferences. Pets are thoughtfully separated by size and temperament, and cats have their own quiet, dedicated space, completely separate from dogs. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including meals, walks, medications, and rest, to help them feel secure and at ease. I have experience with rescue pets, senior pets, and pets who need extra patience and reassurance, and I use gentle, positive handling at all times. My goal is to create a safe, loving, and stress-free environment where pets feel at home and pet parents have complete peace of mind.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for House Sitting in Carrs Corner on Rover is $138.1 per night (as of August 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of August 2026, there are 2,674 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Carrs Corner. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:

  • Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
  • Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
  • Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
  • Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.

The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Carrs Corner walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.

It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Carrs Corner maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:

  • Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
  • Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
  • Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.

Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Carrs Corner choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Carrs Corner. On Rover:

  • 91% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 99% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
