“Robyn was amazing. My fur babies loved her. She took wonderful care of them. I was extremely happy and relieved. I could actually enjoy my time away knowing that they were in very capable hands. Robin also left my place cleaner then I left it. She is exceptional.”

“Mercedes did a great job and went above and beyond to care for our dogs. Even going as far as making sure we had a clean home to come home to after traveling. We will definitely book with her in the future!”

About: As a graduate of the University of Arizona with a BS in wildlife conservation I have a special place in my heart for all animals. I've been brought up most of my life with animals, mostly dogs and cats. Their company, presence is special and something I have and will enjoy for the rest of my life. I have a Staffordshire bull terrier and my dad has two cats of his own I adore. Looking to work in my future as a game warden and have experience completing a veterinary assistant certification at pima community college and a certification from durrel on completing a endangered species recovery course in the United kingdom (jersey channel islands). This is something I've been looking forward doing for a while; having a wonderful time looking after such wonderful pets. Simply when an animal is happy I'm happy. I will always take time for your pet as they deserve as much time and attention as possible which I can definitely give to them. Make sure they are always safe and having a great time with lots of play and love, they are family and will treat them as such.
“Sharon is a very warm, down-to-earth person. My 16 yo rescue dog, Fawn was very well taken care of. I was happy & lucky to find someone willing to stay in my home with my dog. Fawn has lost some vision and hearing so she does better in a familiar place. I appreciated getting photos and updates on my pup. I could completely relax and enjoy my 2-week vacation with family and friends, knowing my old girl was safe and loved. Sharon has a lot of experience with dogs from the years she had a business taking care of people’s dogs in her own home when her clients were away. I highly recommend Sharon!”

“Great experience with Josh— responsive, kind, caring and responsible. We have a full house over here with one particularly complicated big dog and he juggled the crew really well and everyone was happy upon my return. I appreciated him asking questions and keeping me updated throughout the trip! He even offered to stay later to feed them if I got back later than originally anticipated. I look forward to booking again! Thanks Josh!!”

“Bentley took our rover request las minute and was able to provide great service to our pups. Communication was great as we received pictures and even videos while we were gone. Would definitely recommend!”

About: I have taken care of pets my whole life. I am the person that always walks other people's dogs since they don't have the time for it. The well-being of pets, even those I don't own, is always something that I pay close attention to. I have taken care of my pregnant dog twice, helping her deliver and tending to newborn puppies. I have also taken care of sick dogs and dogs who recently had surgery, all of which was very demanding. I also rescued a cat from the street which currently lives with me. Right now I am in between jobs so I'm very free, which is why I'm very flexible and taking care of your pets will be my priority. There might be an occasional weekend once a month where I might be busy but that would the only conflicting issue. The rest of the time I will be very flexible and work with your needs. My home is mostly suitable for cats or dogs that live indoors. There's a lot of green areas right outside my home and in the community for a dog to play in but it's not a fenced yard. For a cat, my house has cat trees, litter box, plenty of toys and everything they might need. I do have a cat and a dog if your pet does good with other pets.
About: I provide loving, reliable pet care in the familiar surroundings of their own home. Please note that I have a 3-night minimum stay requirement for all bookings. While my home base is tucked away in the high desert, my full-time house-sitting services are completely mobile. I am happy to travel directly to you across Pima and Pinal counties and their surrounding communities to ensure your beloved pets stay comfortable and stress-free. Whether you live in the Catalina Foothills, Oro Valley, SaddleBrooke, Marana, Tucson, or up through San Tan Valley, I bring peace of mind directly to your doorstep. I specialize in overnight house sitting, ensuring your pets get to keep their stress-free, daily routines in the comfort of their own environment. About My Experience & Care Style I have cared for animals for many years, including dogs and cats in a variety of home environments. Friends, neighbors, and family have trusted me to provide dependable, attentive care while they are away. I am especially strong at maintaining a pet’s normal routine, which helps them feel calm and secure. I naturally bring a steady, grounded presence that animals respond well to, and I take the time to understand each pet’s personality and needs. Because every animal is unique, I always let pets set the pace for how quickly we become friends, ensuring a patient, respectful introduction. I focus on creating a low-stress environment where pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for, while also treating each home with the same level of respect and attention. I’m happy to travel for the right stay and provide a consistent, attentive experience from start to finish. 🐾 Multi-Pet Household Policy: For homes featuring a mix of both dogs and cats, my primary base rate defaults to the standard dog sitting rate ($105), with any feline family members added via the additional cat tier ($25). Medication Note: I am happy to administer oral medications, provided they can be easily hidden or mixed directly into the pet's regular food. I structure my schedule to support multi-day stays where I can provide a consistent and reliable presence. I am available throughout the week and weekends for house sitting, and I plan my time so that pets receive attentive care and a stable routine. I may step out for short periods during the day, but I always prioritize maintaining a pet’s comfort and schedule. This allows me to provide a balanced, calm environment while ensuring your home and pets are well cared for. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their established routine so everything feels as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow feeding schedules, walking routines, and any specific instructions closely, while also providing companionship and attentive care. I treat each home with great respect and care, keeping everything clean, secure, and well maintained. I’m mindful of safety at all times and aim to create a calm, stable environment where pets feel comfortable and owners feel confident that everything is being handled responsibly.

About: I have lots of experience with dogs and cats. Throughout my childhood animals were my escape from reality. My dad bred dogs and I always loved them so much it was hard to say goodbye. In high school I took in a stray cat and it kept getting pregnant so I raised like 5 litters of kittens as well. To be honest I like animals more than people your babies are in good hands. I like to walk and get my steps in everyday so it won’t be much different walking with the doggos. I have dog and catsit for close friends and family but never strangers. Excited to do it! I work from home and my job is very flexible. I am my own boss so I can pretty much take breaks whenever I need to take your fur baby on walks or feed them as well as give them lots of attention when needed. My availability is very open and I love all animals. Since I work from home I’ll always be here to make sure your animal is well cared for and happy. I also go on multiple walks daily anyways to try and stay active so its perfect!!

FAQs for House Sitting - Cascabel
Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of June 2026, there are 765 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Cascabel. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Cascabel walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Cascabel maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Cascabel choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
