“Cristina was so great! She asked questions beforehand so she would have everything she needed, and took lots of super cute pictures so I knew my pups were in good hands. She was flexible and easy to work with when we had plans change, and I would definitely use her again.”

“I can't say enough about how great Jamie was with our 3 cats! I'm a bit of a picky pet parent and Jamie did a wonderful job of checking off every need of our furry friends. I highly recommend her!”

“Amazing dog sitter! Took great care of my dogs, kept me updated, and made me feel comfortable while I was away. Reliable, caring, and I would definitely book again. Highly recommend!””

About: Hi there! I’m here because I love dogs! I’d love to meet yours and love them well. Being with dogs is the highlight of my day. You can also rely on me to answer your calls or texts, and I'm happy to FaceTime with you when I'm with your pup if you'd like. My job is to put you at ease, knowing that your fur baby is well-taken care of. I’m here to help! I work remotely with extremely flexible hours, so I have time to do drop-in visits with dogs almost daily. I prefer to schedule my visit to take care of your dog at least two days ahead of time, but I'm usually free to do last-minute requests. Just ask! Right now, I'm only offering drop-in visits. I'd be happy to do a meet and greet at your home with your dog(s) so you can feel comfortable with our interaction and get to know me a little better.

“Meaghan was great taking care of my cats while we were gone for 2 weeks. She has been very responsive when I message her with questions or to let her know about something. The cats were doing well and everything was in good order when we got home. I appreciate the effort - it takes a load off my mind while I'm on vacation!”
About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover who grew up with a miniature poodle and have always had pets as part of my family. Today, I share my home with my sweet 12-year-old Cavachon, who has been a beloved member of our family for many years. I’m also a proud mom of four children, with years of experience caring for both people and pets. As a homeowner and pet owner, I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy, dependable, and caring to look after your furry family members when you’re away. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, companionship, feeding, medication, or simply extra love and attention, I’ll care for them as if they were my own. I believe every pet deserves patience, kindness, and plenty of affection. I take pride in being responsible, reliable, and attentive to each pet’s unique needs and personality. My goal is to give you peace of mind while ensuring your pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable in my care. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! I work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, but I come home during my lunch break, which allows me to provide midday potty breaks, walks, and check-ins for pets in my care. Before and after work, I have plenty of time to provide exercise, attention, feeding, and companionship. On weekends, I am home throughout the day and have a very flexible schedule, allowing me to spend extra time with pets and accommodate their individual needs. My goal is to make sure every pet feels comfortable, loved, and well cared for while their owners are away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide a clean, loving, and structured environment where dogs can feel secure while their owners are away. I understand that every dog has different needs and routines, and I do my best to follow the schedule and care instructions provided by each owner. For safety reasons, I require dogs to be crate trained and comfortable in a crate. When I am away from home and overnight, dogs will be safely crated to prevent accidents, injuries, or stress. This helps ensure your pet remains safe and secure when they cannot be directly supervised. While I am home, your dog will receive plenty of attention, affection, potty breaks, exercise, and companionship. I will also keep you updated with messages and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your furry family member is being well cared for.

About: I have experience with all walks of life when it comes to animals. From fish to farm animals. I have two cats and two dogs and chickens and goats and pigs and ducks. Along with house birds. I am currently not working. I am a stay-at-home mom. So my schedule is pretty open. Especially to boarding I have the space for it. TimeWise I do work around my toddler schedule for dog walking and Cat sitting. I have a fenced in backyard. A very large house. I also have four kids that love animals. So an animal that loves kids would be preferred. But not completely out of the question if there is a child issue I can just keep my kids away from the animal. Pretty easy to fix.

“Tessa was outstanding! She was quick to respond to any of my texts and messages. Every visit we got pictures of our girl and a detailed report. Tessa refilled food/water and would give our dog walks around the block. She put our minds at ease while we were away from home. We knew our Piper was in good hands.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Cartersville
Ethan went above and beyond to care for our 2 dogs when a medical incident occurred. Their communication was consistent and frequent throughout our entire vacation. We would happily book with them again and feel like our dogs were safe and loved in their care!

We had a last minute weekend trip come up and Jess stepped up as always to take great care of our little man. She even interrupted her Friday evening work schedule to come over during the time we requested and make sure he was taken care of and settled in for the night. Thank you so much, Jess.

Ashlynn is the absolute best! She has watched my fur baby a few times now and managed to be a life saver when my dog came down with a serious case of hot spots. She keeps me updated on everything even though I trust her to handle everything when I’m gone. I know they are in good hands and Ashlynn is more than capable. We love her!!!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
