About: Hello! My name is Jessica. I am a true animal lover, but as a pet parent I know there is more to caring for an animal than love alone. As a military veteran, I bring discipline, reliability, and 14 years of hands-on experience caring for animals in all of the ways they deserve. From training puppy’s to seniors, house sitting and daycares, to veterinary care I have a strong comprehensive knowledge of pet care. Having to fur babies of my own give me a strong understanding of how difficult it is to be separated from a member of the family, to make it a little easier I send videos alongside photos to make you feel a little closer your pups/cats while you’re away. I am currently employed in Kennesaw, where I assist and work alongside a reputable and respected professional dog trainer. My usual work hours allow me to make visits in the morning around 8:00 AM or earlier, as well as in the evening at 5:30 PM or later. My journey began working with farm animals in 2012, then quickly transitioned to specialized dog and cat care. Where I began training dogs; guiding them through basic obedience courses, hunting, as well as behavioral modification. All the while house-sitting for my clients when they have gone out of town and walking their dogs while they were away at work. My most recent work with animals is veterinary care, giving me profound knowledge on the health and wellbeing of our furry friends. I have a strong expertise in working with anxious/timid dogs by building trust and security, as well as reading animal behavior to respect boundaries and build confidence. Throughout the years I have medicated dogs of all temperaments, breeds, and stages of life allowing the dog to feel most comfortable. The variety of my experience has given me well round knowledge of what it takes to care for these important members of our families. The comfort that can come with knowledgeable care is incomparable. Pet care is part of my daily routine. I currently care for animals full time, therefore I’m able to maintain a consistent routine for feeding, bathroom breaks, and activity. About: Hello pet parents! I am a dog owner myself, and have taken care of all breeds of dogs from the high energy chihuahua to the reserved mastiff. I am able to handle larger breeds since I strength train regularly at the gym. I can also go on longer walks since I take walks on a daily basis. I’m also comfortable with giving dogs oral medication. I currently work full time, but I can be flexible on some days in the afternoon for quick walks. I am available (Monday-Thursday) and mostly free on weekends (Friday-Sunday). I understand that each dog’s personality and temperament is unique and I’m willing to accommodate any dog! I would treat any dog just like my own. We can have multiple meet and greets to make sure your pet is comfortable. I respect every furry pet owners rules and communicate frequent updates. I make sure the dog is comfortable with frequent water breaks and/or potty breaks. I use positive reinforcement, and treats (if okay with owner) to have a great walking experience. I am also experienced in dogs with separation anxiety or just anxiety in general. Plus all the hugs and wags!

I have a flexible, work from home schedule, and am reliable, communicative, and trustworthy. I will take care of your pet like it was my own. I work from home and have a flexible work schedule Monday - Friday. Most weekends are available. Mid day drop in visits or walks are possible too. I make sure the front door is closed before leaving the house. Change the water and feed the dog if requested. Keeping the dog safe during walks is important to me.

In my own home, I maintain a clean, pet-safe environment that is calm and structured.
