Lifelong animal lover and dog mama!
Taking care of animals has been a part of my life. Growing up there was never a time we did not have a pet dog or cat. I am passionate about caring for animals and appreciate the love the give in return. I also enjoy the fulfillment of working with animals who need a little help learning to trust humans again. I have fostered and re-home over 100 pets in the past 20 years. Just last year, a kitten that I raised since shew as 2 days old, passed at the sweet age of 16. She was the start of my passion for seeing what hard work and love can do for another living creature. For the past decade I have also been a registered nurse and my medical experience has further grown my passion for animals. Their love and dedication to their families can heal us all in ways we could never deserve.

Safety, trust & environment
In my own home, my pets are treated as family. It is safe to say that my own dogs do not believe that they are actually dogs, but humans. In our home we also value our pets having manors and being respectful to us, as we are to them. Our pets do not know a lot of fancy tricks but they do know sit, stay, release, down, and leave it. These are very important for all pets to know and pet owners to utilize, not only for their pet's safety but also all those around. When caring for a pet in a clients home I want to care for your pet as you ask of me to, and always with the upmost respect to you and your pet. With that in mind I will also do my best to train your pet to the basic requests that I ask of all pets such as: sit, stay, leave it, release. For example: when filling a food bowl I will ask my dogs to sit and wait, once I am done and have walked away from the food bowl, I will then say "release" to tell my pups to go ahead and start eating. This command is very important for keeping the person feeding safe as well as other pets. It's meant to be a show of respect from both parties, and never meant to be used as teasing for any pet.

We had a last minute weekend trip come up and Jess stepped up as always to take great care of our little man. She even interrupted her Friday evening work schedule to come over during the time we requested and make sure he was taken care of and settled in for the night. Thank you so much, Jess.
Jess took incredible care of our little man once again allowing us peace of mind to enjoy our vacation time. He loves Jess and is so excited for her to come take care of him. We always receive great communication and photos, and she is always available for any questions. I'm incredibly thankful we have her as a sitter.
Once again, and as always Jess was wonderful. Our boy was extremely well taken care of and we received plenty of updates and communication on how he was doing and what he was up to. That includes some of the things that he did one day while throwing a temper tantrum for us leaving him and acting out his frustrations. The great thing was that Jess not only took away the things that he had taken his frustration out on, but then went around the house and put up out of his reach anything else that may be tempting for him to tear up. We sure appreciated that and love everything else about Jess. It sure is wonderful to know that your pet is going to be so well taken care of. That makes any vacation so much more enjoyable. Thank you Jess!!!!
Jess was amazing as always! She took excellent care of our boy with plenty of love and attention and great photos at each visit so we could see how he was doing. Jess also made sure to give him his special appetizer that he just can't seem to do without prior to his meal. Thank you so much Jess for once again allowing us to get away for a bit and not have to worry about our boy!
Jess was again incredible in taking care of our boy during our most recent trip. I can always relax and enjoy the time away when I know that Jess will be looking after him and making sure that he gets some love and attention and stays safe and sound. She made sure to give him his special meals and ensured he had plenty of fresh water during these hot days. And as always, she kept us up to date with the best pictures so we could see him and know that he was doing well. Those help so much and are so appreciated. I'm so thankful for her and the excellent and trustworthy job that she always does. If you are looking for a pet sitter in her area, please choose Jess. You'll be grateful that you did.
Jess was wonderful as always during our most recent trip. She always communicates so well and makes sure that she has all of the information and details that she needs or that she now that we would want her to have. She goes out of the way to make sure that our boy gets his "special" addition to his normal kibble meals and provides him with great care and love. We are so thankful for Jess!

Schedule
I have been a Registered Nurse for over a decade but my love and passion for animals has been a lifetime! I only work as a nurse PRN and I enjoy the opportunity to indulge in my passion for animals when I’m not in scrubs.
