“If you’re on the hunt for a pet sitter your search ends here. I couldn’t have asked for a more ideal person to watch my cat, Carlos while I was away for a week. My original sitter fell through the day before I was leaving so in a desperate attempt to find someone I messaged a few people on Rover. Lazslo responded almost immediately and we set up a time to meet and go over his care. This is the first time I’ve ever needed to hire a sitter and I left for vacation with great peace of mind knowing my cat was in good hands. Laszlo sent updates with pictures every day, gave Carlos his medication like a pro, spent quality time with him everyday and even brought us our mail. Laszlo is so thoughtful and trustworthy, I can’t express that enough. Hire this man!”

About: I've taken care dogs and cats and each animal is a unique experience. At one point I had 4 dogs and moved. No pet left behind! I'm a Full time Bookstore Manager working in Carbondale. I'm apart from my family and pets for the next year and could use the interaction/love. I've kennel trained. Walked dogs for years. Played with cats for hours. I'm a nurturer and loving with boundaries. I can be structured or spoil your pet.

About: Hi my name is Andrea Lopez! Originally a Du Quoin native, I currently live in Carbondale and work full time in education. My passions include working with kids, animals, and being outdoors. I am a life long runner and am passionate about being active through daily walks and being outside. This has made me into a morning person and I have no problem taking your furry friend on a walk/run before you head off to work or in the evenings! In addition, I have experience as a nanny for elementary aged children and grew up with plenty of pets, making me qualified for taking care of your dog on those days that you cannot be with them all day. I am a firm believer that pets are as much part of the family as any human and I will take care of your dog as if they were a part of my own family. I am available in the mornings from 6:30- 8:30 and anytime after 3:30. I have also dog sat in the past and am able to offer house sitting services with hourly drop ins! As a caregiver for young children, I understand the responsibility of taking care of others. Moreover, my dear family dog, Blake, is diagnosed diabetes, so I have experience working with special needs dogs and giving medication to animals. I am a firm believer in stability, routine, and compassion. That means I will stick to your pets daily routine and offer support and love while doing it!

“Chelsey was just the BEST!! We were so anxious about leaving them. To make matters worse, there was a bad storm in the forecast. She took the very best care of them and we will definitely be using her again!!”

About: I'm masters student in biology with professional pet care experience from working as an Animal Care Technician/Kennel Assistant at Franklin County Animal Hospital. Here, I primarily cared for boarded cats and dogs by giving medication by injection, orally, and other routes. Additionally, I fed animals as directed to ensured they actually ate, cleaned kennel spaces, and had playtime with dogs after their walks. I grew up with cats and have had the main responsibility of training dogs in my family for all of my life (the origin of my 20 years experience)! In regards to dogs, I've raised 5 huskies from birth all the way up to adulthood. Currently, I have 2 well-trained dogs that LOVE to meet new people and pets: Nirvana, a mini Texas Heeler and Remi, a Husky mix. If we're not at home, we're probably off on a walk, hiking, swimming, or doing a photoshoot somewhere in the Shawnee Forest. I love to meet people's pets! Whether your pet stays at my pet-friendly apartment with a large front yard, I'm at your place overnight, or I'm simply dropping in/taking your pet on a walk I can promise professionalism and that you're pet will have a great time! Currently, I can be available most days before 9:30 am and every day after 7 pm. Of course, this schedule can change depending on the dates/times I'm needed! At my home, I can ensure pets are in a safe environment by walking them in my large front and side yard of my apartment complex and/or in a safe area of town near Trinity Christian School. Additionally, I can ensure your pets safety by only allowing interactions with my pets while supervised and can provide a kennel space if one is not provided. At your home, I can follow specific directions on where dogs like to go, how animals prefer to be interacted with, and discuss the preferred length of time you'd prefer me to be in your home. Really, this portion is all up to you! I value mutual respect above all else and while I will conduct myself as such regardless, your preferences are really all that matters!

About: I have taken care of several types of dogs since I was little. I grew up in the country and helped take care of my neighbors dogs and animals whenever I could. I have watched my friends pets before and respected any care methods they have. I took care of puppies and dogs pretty much my whole life. I trained puppies and always pay attention to body language and behavior. I work every other weekend currently at a motorcycle range. My week days are free and so are my nights. I take online classes right now since it is the summer semester. I have my own cat so I keep his space clean and tidy. I feed him on a set schedule and make sure he has plenty of space for his zoomies and play time. He is a single cat and likes it that way. For client’s homes, I will follow any and all instructions for their pet and keep their home tidy and keep their pets clean as well, including litter boxes, food spills, etc.

About: I’ve taken care of lots of different dogs since I was 15 for friends, family and my coaches. I have also taken care of senior dogs on multiple occasions that need pills in their food or maybe aren’t so good at making it out to the bathroom every time. I love spending time with animals too if that’s something that people are worried about I’ll try to make sure I have time to be with them and give them attention. I’m currently searching for another job so I have lots of time to fit my schedule specifically to your pet care needs! That’s also why I’m really happy to do this right now cause I won’t need to fit it in with other things and I can 100% dedicate time to your pup :) I honestly love to care for each dog or animals depending specifically on each clients need. I’ve had multiple dogs in my life and while a lot do their care is the same they always have their little quirks, some of them preferred to be walked while others just wanted to be let into the back yard. So all in all, I love having a run down of your animal’s specific needs and I’ll be sure to meet them.

About: I am a pharmacy technician looking to care for your pets! I currently work too much for a pet of my own, but I miss my dog back at home and hope to love yours like I love mine! I currently work full-time so I don’t have time for a pet of my own, but I do try to keep my availability updated and correct for everyone’s convenience! I don’t have any professional experience or any pets of my own at this time, but I do love animals and hope to get to enjoy your pets while you’re away!

About: I’ve taken care of animals of all kinds since I was ten. I’ve had reptiles, aquatic animals, dogs, and cats at my home since I was young, and have taken the utmost care of all of them. I have taken care of senior pets, pets with disabilities, and have lots of experience caring for puppies, kittens, and reptiles. I love animals; they are a big part of what brings me joy in life, and I can’t wait to help you take care of yours :). I am available during the afternoons and evenings on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and the weekends! I am also available all day for holidays, breaks, and all Summer long. At my own home, I have two dogs, a cat, and a bearded dragon. My dogs have an electrical fence that spans my entire yard worth several acres in the countryside, and I keep them in the house with me unless I am doing yard work or they need to use the bathroom. My cat mostly stays outside as she is a dark cat, but I take her inside during the colder months. In your homes, I will follow all your house rules, making sure to keep your pets as comfortable as possible; almost as if you were there with them :).

“Ana did several drop in visits to check in on on my kitten while I was away for a week and a half. She was professional and caring. I felt peace of mind knowing that my cat's well-being was in Ana's capable hands. Great communication and also cleaned up any messes that my cat left behind. Would def hire her again!!”

About: I bring a unique blend of professional experience and genuine love for animals. I’ve worked in vet clinics and boarding facilities for over 7 years, which means I’m not only confident handling a wide range of pet personalities, but I’m also skilled in administering medications, supporting senior and special-needs pets, and recognizing when something isn’t quite right. I’ve also worked closely with puppies—helping them feel secure, stay on track with potty routines and training, and burn off that puppy energy in a fun, safe way! I go above and beyond to make sure your pet feels loved, safe, and stress-free while you’re away I am extremely flexible and can work around my schedule to be there to provide for your pet and their needs (whatever they may be)! I am more comfortable caring for pets in client’s home as I live in an apartment and my boyfriend is allergic to most dogs and some cats.

About: I've had different dogs and cats since I was young, and I always loved taking care of them. I've always loved animals, sometimes more then people. Kane my dog is past a year old, Malinois/gsd mix, high energy and always keeping me on my toes. I started this as a way to keep him exhausted and energetic, moreover as a way to make money on the side. Other than college this is my full time job right now, pet care fits into my schedule as a job and passion for my love of animals. I'll care for your pets like they're my own. If you have a younger pup who has a tendency to leash pull just let me know ahead of time please, especially if they weigh larger then 50lbs. Dog treats as a positive walking reinforcement and water and stop at a park when needed.
