About: I have always love animals since I was a kid and have always wanted to help and take care of them. I have 6 animals of my own at the moment and they teach me how to be more and more patient everyday. All my animals either came from a rough situation or they were literally born on my porch. I have bottle fed kittens from birth to adult hood to also having taken care of an 18 year old Miniature Pinscher who unfortunately lost the use of his back legs. I have always been an avid watcher/walker and I have to say it is my favorite job. My full-time job is freelancing I often do things like babysitting, pet sitting, house cleaning, etc. So I make my own schedule and make sure I manage my time to fit everything into my day. I often plan out my days ahead of time so I know exactly what needs to get done and when so I’ll never miss or be late to a visit. I will always follow pet care instructions exactly as you leave them, I am a “type a” person myself and I love a good detailed list. I will always communicate back to pet parents about there fur baby’s schedule if I’m not sure about something. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
