“Gail was great! We felt so comfortable leaving our dogs with her while we attended our daughter’s graduation. Her house is a perfect sanctuary for dogs and her two dogs are friendly. If we’re ever in town again and in need of a dog sitter, we would definitely call Gail again. We highly recommend!”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover with experience working as a vet technician, so your pup will be in great hands with me. I have two friendly dogs of my own, so I’m only accepting dogs that are good with other pups. I’m comfortable with small to medium-sized dogs and always aim to make them feel like part of the family. Whether it’s a walk around the neighborhood, playtime in the backyard, or a trip to our local dog park, I make sure dogs get the attention and exercise they need. I also love sending photo updates so you can see how much fun your furry friend is having while you’re away! I have a flexible schedule and can accommodate morning, afternoon, or evening walks and visits, depending on your needs. I’m usually home during the day, especially on weekends, and can provide regular care, playtime, and attention throughout your dog’s stay. Let me know your dog’s routine—I’m happy to stick to their feeding, walking, and potty schedule to keep things consistent and stress-free for them! Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. With my background as a vet technician, I know how to handle dogs with care and confidence, and I’m always alert to their needs and behaviors. My two dogs are friendly and well-socialized, and I only accept dogs who get along well with others to keep everyone safe and happy. I have a fenced backyard for secure outdoor play and live near a local dog park for fun adventures. I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you can relax knowing your pup is in good hands.

“Natalia provided excellent service and made our girl feel comfortable. Our dog can be sort of standoffish and nervous around new people, but it seems like she had a great time with Natalia during her stay. we will definitely be booking her again thank you for giving us a Moms night out.🌈💕”

“Lynn and Marty were so kind to watch my dog Rocket for the day, even though their wonderful dog, Jayce, had recently passed away. They communicated well with me in advance about the situation, and gave Rocket so much love and attention during her visit. This was Rocket's second time staying at Lynn & Marty's little slice of doggy paradise, and it won't be her last!”

“So thankful for Kate taking care of our pup! This was our first time doing doggy daycare with our rescue pup and we were thankful for the updates for the few hours we were gone and how thorough she was in making sure our pup was safe and comfortable.”

About: Since I was a just a kid I have loved all kinds of dogs, I know all the great dog parks in the area to play fetch or just let them run free (in the gated park of coarse) and even enjoy taking them on hikes threw out the city or to the beach on a sunny day! We can play fetch or tug o war, lay inside and hangout or go outside and enjoy the sun. When provided I will feed your pet and give them water when needed; and I will even give your pet treats or rewards for good behavior or fun tricks they may know. I can also provide possible grooming upon request and for an extra fee depending on grooming request and dog size and age.

“Jake is a wonderful dogsitter and Jett is a great buddy for my dog, Gaia. Gaia can be unpredictable with new dogs, and Jake was very accommodating as we got the two dogs acquainted. Now Gaia loves going to play with Jett. And Jake makes it easy - he’s conscientious, super responsive, and easy to work with. Highly recommend!”

“Amber was great! In the 12 hours my golden retriever was with her, they went on multiple walks and she was exhausted by the time we got home (that’s a good thing). They were even walking when I arrived to pick her up! Super sweet, lots of photos that we loved seeing. I highly recommend!”

“I have been fostering a very darling 8 year old Pomeranian and was in need of day time care. I found Elizabeth here on Rover very close to my house and she was so easy to get connected with almost immediately. I was able to quickly check her references, and I felt such relief knowing she was so trustworthy and could come pick up Bebe to take care of her while I tended to work. Her communication and flexibility are just what I needed - cannot recommend enough. Thank you!!”

About: I grew up with cats and dogs, my whole life! I love dog sitting and cat sitting for people in town and when I heard of Rover, I signed up because I thought it would be a good opportunity to meet new people and their furry friends who could benefit from my services!! I hope I can be a good fit for you, please reach out:) My work schedule is very flexible letting me be able to come in and out or hang out with your animals during the day and night. I will be very flexible to meet your pets needs Whatever the owner asks me to do for the dog or cat while there away is what we will do, I guarantee your kitty or doggie will be taken care of with care and love from a fellow animal lover

About: I love dogs, I’ve grown up taking care of my family dog. I’ve also lended a helping hand taking care of friends and neighborhood dogs. I’m a student at UCSB staying here for the summer and looking to make some extra money. I have tons of availability and flexible times! I’m a student so I’m very responsible with following instructions and making sure things are done right. I also love outdoor activities so I would be great at keeping your dog active.

About: I have 10+ years of paid experience (and a lifetime without pay as I'm an avid pet owner) with many kinds of animals and life stages. I have extensive experience with reptiles, amphibians, freshwater fish, rats, mice, hamsters, birds, cats and dogs. Additionally, I am versed in hand feeding baby birds, general wound care, and K9 anal gland expression. I have rehabilitated and adopted out 4 dogs since the lockdown and find a lot of joy in K9 training and behavior modification. I work remotely from home which makes my schedule very flexible. That being said, just like our pets, I thrive off routine and will try to schedule pet care accordingly. If you have a weird request, please ask! I like to make things work :) I believe creating a positive environment for animals is critical. Animals cannot thrive when they are stressed, living in fear, or improperly cared for. For these reasons, I strive to know the individual and move at a pace appropriate for their needs. There is no stronger bond than one built on trust. Additionally, I clean up messes quickly and put much effort into animal husbandry and play.

“We are so happy we connected with Tricia to watch our dog. She is very responsive, calm, and friendly. You can tell she truly cares about dogs and cares for them as if they were her own. Her and her family have a heart for dogs and it really showed in their interactions with our pet. Our dog was always so happy when he first saw her at drop-off and instantly connected with the entire family. We will definitely be using Tricia again in the future and highly recommend her to anyone!”

About: I have always grown up with a zoo in my house. My family volunteered at an animal shelter and we often had foster dogs staying with us until they found their forever home. I’ve taken care of every type of dog under the sun and worked for a pet store for 3 years. I am available any day to take care of your pets! This has become my full-time job so I am looking forward to giving your pets my full attention. I have a studio apartment that is fairly spacious. I would take your pet out for at least three walks a day and give them all the attention they need since I’m sure they will be missing their owner. I will not feed them any table food only the food you provide.
