About: Hi, I'm Philip! I grew up with animals, and have always been around them for as long as I can remember. I started helping to take care of our cats, dogs, fish, and birds at home when I was about 7 years old, and have taken more complex and more numerous animal responsibilities since then. I've cared for cats, dogs, birds, fish, and even lizards for friends, family, and community throughout my teens and adult life. Daily pet care is as much a part of my routine as much as it is for the pets. I'm a scientist and engineer by trade, and I try to incorporate data on behavior, hygiene, and diet into my pet care practices (while prioritizing data from you, the pet parent!). I respect each animal's unique situation, and always do my best to make sure their needs and sensitivities are met. I've been told that I spoil pets by devoting so much time and energy to them, but so far none of the animals have complained! I promise that your fur babies will be in good hands. Thanks for considering me! I'm currently working part-time, and I currently live in an apartment with my partner and our cats. I'm not currently able to offer board for animals, but I am happy to check in, walk, or pet-sit/house-sit any day after 1pm, overnight on weekends, or overnight on pre-scheduled days of the week. I keep a list (whether mental or physical) of each pet's unique needs, and I incorporate their care into my daily routine. I always start by checking in with the pet themself, and let them know I'm there with them. I'll move on to other priorities and needs, as I'm informed about them. I always make sure to spend enough time with a pet to learn their habits, as well as their "tells" if something is wrong. I'm also big on open communication, and am happy to send text, photo, or video updates during each visit!

About: I’ve always had a special love for animals, and although I’ve never been able to have a dog or cat of my own, I have experience with dog sitting and cat sitting; whether it be day long or month long at my house, or frequent visits to others houses. I've dog-sat young puppies and elder dogs needing extra medical care. I've had 2 years of experience volunteering at local animal shelters as well! I am a full-time student at UCSB, I am usually free all day on weekends but I’m able to communicate how my class schedule will fit around caring for your pets. I have a fenced yard with plenty of space to run around, I’ll make sure everything is in great shape for your furry friend. In both my home and yours, your pet is my number 1 priority. I also have an SUV that I'm able to transport your pet in if desired.

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life—growing up with two dogs and two cats since I was three years old. Caring for pets has always been second nature to me. One of the hardest parts of being in college is being away from my own furry family, which is why I love helping others care for theirs. I’ve fostered multiple litters of kittens and have raised three dogs from puppyhood, so I’m comfortable with pets of all ages and energy levels. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or just keeping your pets company while you’re away, I’ll treat them like they’re my own. I am a student at UCSB currently on summer vacation working part time at the Ritz Carlton. On my days off I am available for walks and house sitting all day, and on days I do work I am available before and after work. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I stick closely to their usual routines to keep them comfortable and happy. I follow all instructions, give lots of attention and affection, and keep you updated with photos and messages. Your pet’s safety and well-being are always my top priority!

Currently I have two dogs who are reactive, so I’m very familiar with managing behavior challenges calmly and safely. About: I am a current grad student who loves animals! I grew up with a beagle of my own so I have plenty of experience with sweet but stubborn, food motivated dogs! I also had experience fostering a dog while I was in college. About: Experienced and confident with all dogs. I would love to take your dog for a long walk on the weekend so you can be free. Dog sitting avail also. I have worked extensively with K-Nine Solutions in SB with my own dogs. This is a wonderful organization that has been a huge help for me understanding dog behavior and training. I am available Friday afternoon Through Sunday. I can do multiple walks in a day with availability for early morning visits. Walks after dinner, etc I have two dogs that are kennel trained and I have a small yard that has two fenced parts. Sitting can be arranged, dog walking preferred.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 11! I grew up around animals and had three dogs of our own. I just graduated college and was a student athlete, which forced me to be extremely trustworthy, reliable, and have great time management skills. I have fed, walked, bathed, and cared for many friends and families animals! I currently just graduated college and am trying to find a more permanent and consistent job back home so my schedule is extremely flexible right now. About: I have been taking care of dogs ever since I was a kid. I grew up with a boxer dog named Kobe ever since I was three years old. I would take him for walks, feed him, play with him, and make sure he is taking his potty breaks. A family friend of mine trusted in me on watching over their dogs while they were away for work. I would come to their house, feed them, play with them, and make sure they are let out to use the restroom. I now currently have a boxer who is 10 years old. He is the most loving dog ever and loves to lick!. You will feel safe with your dog in my hands! :) I am currently working part time so my availability is very open for overnight stays. For walks and daily check ups let me know what times you need and I will try and fit it in my schedule! When staying at your house I will spend all my time with the dog because I never want to leave a dog alone! I follow instructions very well so whatever is needed such as walks or feeding schedule will be completed!

We are the go-to dog watchers for many clients and close friends, and in October 2019, we rescued a then two-year-old male German Shepherd Australian cattle dog mix, Wesley, who is just as lovable as can be. We lived in South Lake Tahoe, CA, for fourteen years and just recently moved to the Santa Barbara area so that I could begin a PhD in English at UCSB. We are available right now for dog walking and dog watching at clients’ homes. Ryan and I work most days from home, which means your dog will NOT be left home alone for most of the day. Ryan and I love to hike, mountain bike, run, and hang out at dog beaches. All of these activities will be available to your dog. We have a passion for dog care that is like no other in this town. About: I have been around animals my whole life from hamsters, chickens, dogs, cats, and horses since I was a little girl, I love being around pets and the joy they bring me. I used to volunteer at my local Animal Hospital when I was in high school and loved seeing all the different breeds. I recently moved to Utah from California and have been weighing out my options for work and I have come to the conclusion I would be very fulfilled taking care of pets through out the day. I’m available 7 days a week! I live in an area with a dog park and plenty of exercise to be had, I treat every animal like they are my own and would truly look after your pet to ensure they are happy and safe. I have a cat that lives with me (who grew up around dogs) and 3 dogs at my folks home, so being around dogs is nothing new to me! I didn’t bring any doggy companions with me when I moved and I miss being around them. This opportunity would be beneficial for both parties, pet owners have peace of mind knowing they are in the care of a loving human, and for me I get to be around dogs again!
