“Madison and her family were great while caring for my two corgis while I was gone. I know they loved all the extra attention they were getting and I will definitely use her again in the future.”

“Lisa and her family were fantastic. She did a great job of sending photos and keeping me updated on Jack’s status. It was clear that she loved Jack and would love and cuddle him as much as possible. I would definitely recommend her for anyone needing to have their dog taken care of in a safe and loving environment.”

“Natalie and her husband were very accommodating and first rate. Natalie took time out to make sure we felt comfortable leaving our dog with her. Natalie gave us frequent updates and sent pictures. We definitely feel comfortable leaving our dog with Natalie and look forward to future dog sittings with her and her wonderful dog buddy. Thanks again, Natalie.”

“Monica was great with Henry! It was the first time leaving him with a sitter since he is apprehensive around other dogs (and most sitters have pets of their own), but she was communicative and took good care of him. He came home happy and tired. Will definitely book again in the future!”

“Aranza was amazing! She treated my babies just like her own. She provided continuous communication and pictures and asked detailed questions to assure she gave them the care and special treatment needed to be happy and healthy while we were away. She even offered to meet us before the stay so that we could familiarize ourselves with each other and Jazzy and Sandy could get to know her. I am glad I chose Aranza to board my dogs. I will definitely use her again and would recommend her to anyone who wants to know that their pets are receiving lots of love and attention while they are away!”

About: I grew up wanting to be a vet but decided adopting and playing with all the dogs and animals would be better. I love all animals and have 2 rescue dogs of my own. They gets along with other dogs! I have a flexible schedule and would love to help keep your pet company, take them for a walk or come let them out during your busy day. I am looking forward to meeting your pet and treating them with as much love and attention as if they were my own. Please reach out if you have any questions. I am currently working on certifications and am available any time during the day and week to help with your pets and can provide car that fits your needs. I can make myself available for their needs. I have 2 rescue dogs myself and understand that some dogs are more timid than others. I know the most important thing is gaining your pet's trust.
“Jezabel was an amazing pet sitter for us! This is the first time I have left my fur baby with a pet sitter outside of close friends. I was so nervous and a bit apprehensive, but Jezebel and Rover turned out to be an excellent way to find a trustworthy and loving place for my pet to stay. Jezebel sent me updates and pictures throughout the day to let me know how my little guy was adjusting. This gave us comfort and piece of mind. When we decided to make our trip shorter, she handled the change of service for us and got us a refund for the difference in rate from overnight to day care! Her home was clean, uncluttered, and decried with baby gates to separate the animals if needed. I would recommend Jezebel to anyone needing a safe and loving place for their pup to stay.”

“Stephanie was wonderful to work with. She took exceptional care of our dog and cat. My dog is going to miss playing with her dog. I definitely recommend her and will rebook with her for our future pet boarding needs!”

“She took excellent care of my old girl and kept me updated throughout the entire stay. I really appreciated the communication and knowing my dog was in good hands. I will definitely book again.”

“My dog is part of my family and being new to the community I was at a loss for a pet sitter. I was pleased to find Lupita. She was wonderful with my baby. Baci had a wonderful stay with her and her family. I was provided with daily updates which put my mind at ease so I could enjoy my holiday. I will be using her again in the future and highly recommend her services.”
“Kiara didn’t want to eat and they provided her with treats and other food. I appreciate the way they look after her while she was adjusting to a new place. I would have appreciate it more pictures of her playing or running but I’m overall thankful.”

“Amazing experience. Maria and Juan are caring, good hearted people that go above and beyond to care for your fur babies! My Chloe felt loved and comfortable with them, and they will definitely be my first choice if ever I need a sitter.”

“Flora (and Kobe ?) took great care of Wyatt while I was gone. She sent lots of updates and welcomed my pup into her home like he was part of the family. Thanks for taking such great care of my baby ?”

Kathryn is the best! Her communication and care is top standards. She treats my Bella as one of her own. It is such a relief to have a sitter you can trust to care for your fur baby and to give you updates to ease your mind. Kathryn is my #1 choice and recommendation while in El Paso.

This was the first time we had to leave our dog and choosing to leave him with Ms Isabel instead of with a business who has boarding on their list of services was a great choice. Every picture we got from Isabel showed a happy dog who was roaming in the back yard, chasing birds, playing with toys, or snuggling on Isabel's lap. He learned to be social with the other dogs who were also playing and roaming freely. Overall, we had a great experience with Ms Isabel and will feel good about leaving our dog with her any time we travel. Highly recommend!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
