About: My name is Nicole. I have been an animal lover since I was old enough to know what animals were. Between catching potato bugs, feeding the spiders in my windowsills, and moving worms off of sidewalks, I’ve always had a particular connection with the animals that most people don’t understand. As soon as I was old enough, I marched off to the Sonoma County Animal Services to volunteer. From there, it was love at first bark. When I turned 18, I immediately went to animal care as my first real job and was lucky enough to work at Rohnert Park Animal Services for several years. I opened my home to many different rescue critters including snakes, tortoises, rats, lizards, and birds. I rescued my first dog and she is still my best friend to this day 10 years later! Over the years, I was blessed to foster many different exotic animals and worked with the Sacramento SPCA through the pandemic. Shortly after, I made a huge cross-country move and ended up in Louisiana working with all kinds of critters at Northshore Humane Society. From there, I ended up back in my hometown of Sonoma County. Throughout all of these changes, the one variable that never changed was my love for animals and passion for making sure they were safe. Through my 8+ years of shelter experience I have worked with the most feral of feral cats, wildlife brought in shoeboxes, all sizes and shapes of dogs, and so much more. I have met and befriended many pets that were reluctant to be befriended and worked with virtually every breed of cat and dog on the planet. I am fear-free certified and have extensive experience with medication management, basic first-aid, canine CPR, and basic training for both dogs and cats. I am experienced with walking large breeds including reactive dogs and can handle heavy pullers (I have TWO huskies!). I have also volunteered with the Bird Rescue Center of Sonoma County and have a special skillset with exotic animals. My two personal rescue dogs are half husky and bully breed which are two of the most misunderstood dog breeds, so there will be no breed discrimination from me. My favorite furry friends are often shy, tricky to befriend, or nervous. Making a scared baby comfortable means the world to me and I love the challenge. As stated above, I also have extensive experience caring for exotic pets including rats, mice, birds, snakes, tortoises, turtles, fish, lizards, invertebrates, and spiders. I am perfectly comfortable with your exotic pet’s diet and am familiar with feeding snakes and other reptiles frozen-thawed rodents. The only animals I won’t consider petsitting for are species that are illegal to own or venomous. If I had to summarize my truest passion, it would be making sure that every single animal feels safe and comfortable. Even if they’re not perfect, they all deserve kindness and patience. We don’t expect perfection from humans, but we so frequently expect it of animals. So if your pet is a little bit quirky or one of those types that gets dismissed as “scary” or “mean”, you’ve found a person that will give them exactly what they need to feel loved and cherished. Because no pet is perfect, but they are perfect for you. My promise to you is that I will do my best to be your baby’s new BFF. No pet sitter will truly replace you, but I will make sure that I’m the second-best thing. I work from home as an administrative assistant for my husband's guitar studio, so I have a flexible schedule to meet your specific needs. I have access to a reliable car and am happy to do multiple drop-ins so your buddy is comfortable all day long. My motto is that ALL animals deserve humane, kind, and compassionate care. My 16 years in animal shelters has gifted me with experience handling virtually every type of pet of all different shapes, sizes, personalities, and needs. I am certified in fear-free training and utilize positive reinforcement only. I'm passionate about cooperative care and ethical handling no matter the circumstances. If your fur child needs a walk , let's go , need them to get their energy out? I can help. I have strollers , dog carriers and always check my surroundings. Going on vacation and cant take babies? I will spoil them until you return. I have been rescuing animals since I was little and to this day continue to do so when I can. I had a dog that had seizures, so I am very aware of what to look for and what to do. I will send updates so you know your fur child is relaxed , spoiled and loved. I am a stay at home pet mom. I am available to give them all the love , care & attention they need while your away at work or they need an extra walk. Maybe you want to leave town for the day? Im here to help with your fur child. I have always made sure I am attentive to my surroundings and what the fur babies may pickup off the floor. I carry extra leashes just in case we need them. My fur babies have 3 dog beds but are always allowed on my bed and sofa. They have a ball pit full of toys , and when I need to leave for a moment babygates and dog fence it is.

About: I’ve always loved animals and have experience caring for dogs of different personalities, sizes, and needs. I’m patient, attentive, and treat every pet like they’re my own. I love going on walks, playing, giving cuddles, and making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I currently work as an on-call pharmacy technician, so I have a very flexible schedule. I’m also enrolled in school with online classes, which allows me to be home and available throughout the day. About: I grew up with many animals in our household from dogs, cats, turtles, birds, fish, and bunnies and always had a unique connection to them. I have an innate empathetic understanding with them. I have experience with training younger dogs, as well as taking care of elderly dogs. I have experience providing necessary medication if needed, as well as lots of love and snuggles and adventurous hikes or leisurely walks for elderly animals. Currently I have a cat and would love to have another dog but for now getting to take care of other people's dogs or cats would satisfy my desire to be around lots of animals. I am currently a full-time student and I work remotely online so my schedule is flexible and I can work from anywhere. I would prefer to watch dogs and cats in your home. I like to communicate with the owner of the pet and get a clear understanding if there is a particular feeding or walk schedule, as well as if medications are required, or crate preferences. I am happy to send a photo of your animal baby each day if you like daily check ups. I love communication so trust and understanding are developed between myself and the owner.

About: I Love dogs, I dog walk and dog sit my neighbors dog regularly, I use to volunteer in the animal shelter, I use to have my own 2 dogs until they peacefully passed. Im working part time on call so I can really choose my schedule whenever however I want so I will always have plenty of time to watch your pets! I have two quiet vaccinated and spayed cats, If your animal isn’t comfortable with that they can stay in the other room door closed they spend most of there time in a separate room anyway.

I genuinely love working with them, dogs are my strong point, and I have years of experience as well as have some training under my belt. I also am experienced in handling reptiles and large livestock! 🥰 I also wanna state that I can and am always willing to help out, however I do have a job I work Monday through Friday during the early afternoon to evening, so usually anything after 4 or 5pm works for me best! I work part time at a dealership in Santa Rosa, so I do have a lot of free time! I don’t mind over nights, and I don’t mind early mornings if need be! I’m very flexible with my schedule! Tell me what you need and I’ll do my best to accommodate your requests! I am very trustworthy, and since I love all animals I will always go above and beyond to treat your fur-babies like royalty!
