About: Hello animal lovers - I have benefitted from Rover for dog sitting and realize it's something I'd love to do myself. My husband (a social worker) and I are both dog lovers and have a dog (a Frenchie) as well. I work from home (I run a marketing agency I started 12 year ago) and alas much of typical day I'm on zoom, and treasure the breaks for walking and loving on the dogs. While new to Rover, if been helping out friends and neighbors with dog care and logistics and sharing the love for years I'm reliable, work from home, and would love to know how you could use some help. Currently offering to sit or board one dog at a time or arrange prescheduled walks. I'll treat them like family. Comfortable with dogs of many sizes and personalities, and happy to provide updates and photos for peace of mind. Looking forward to meeting your furry friend! Our dog Fiona, a frenchie, plays well with others and has some unique needs including no rough play + daily medicine needs so we're familiar with special rules and medical needs. We do a morning walk, a mid day walk, an "after work" walk and a before bed walk. I work from home so am genrrally around all day. While flexible, I imagine at least initially the primary offering will be to host and care for your dog at our place but am open to house sitting if there's a great fit, I work from home. I can host your dog weekdays and weekends but know on weekends we may have friends (and sometimes friends with dogs) stop by. We have a fenced in deck otherwise for excercise we take leashed walks. I currently am only offering care in my own home and plan to only host one additional dog overnight at a time. Ask me any questions you'd like.

About: I’ve had cats my entire life and understand them well. My sweet kitty just passed away at 20 years old and I’d love to help take care of yours. I frequently travel for work for weeks on end, but when I am home and able to cat-sit, my schedule can be completely flexible. Day / night. Since I only offer cat-sitting, I doubt that this section about my own house will matter much. Cats don’t like to be relocated for temporary purposes.

About: I have cared for dogs since I was ten years old and I got my first puppy. After my college graduation I wanted another dog so bad but because of my travel for work I was always the one to just visit and baby sit my parents dogs for about the past 7 years. About: Walks through Armstrong Redwoods are a favorite activity. I have a large yard and a dog friendly house. I have a couple of years experience working in a veterinary clinic giving me experience medicating animals, including giving injections. I have a pool for dogs who love to swim! I was a volunteer and puppy raiser for Canine Companions for Independence back in the mid to late 1980's, and a Puppy Petter for Assistance Dog Institute in the early 2000's. About: Being a lover of all things animals, I've spent many years caring for dogs, cats, tropical fish, chickens, ferrets, and more. I've owned a dog for most of my life and can't imagine a life without animals in it. I've dealt with mild-mannered to difficult pets and handle all with a patient, loving demeanor. One of my references will note that I took care of their temperamental cat with ease. They called me a cat whisperer, because the cat does not like many people but loved me. I've also cared for pets that need special attention such as injections and older animals with mobility issues. I am easy-going, responsible, and did I mention, I LOVE animals! Pets are family to me, and I treat them as such. I’m active and love long walks, play time and any other activity that helps your sweet fur-baby thrive! And with all things cute comes cleanup of course, and I like to keep a clean space for all. I’ll follow the pet parent’s lead to what works best for them and their loved ones. About: I love all animals, especially dogs. I'm a very active person so walking a lot is no issue for me. I enjoy hiking with dogs. I’ve worked in many dog shelters taking care of dogs of all different ages. I have also been a dog walker/sitter with rover and wag for about 6 years now. With me your puppers are in good hands :) I am working on a farm from 8-4 M-Th so weekends are more ideal. I like to take pups out first thing in the morning for a little stroll and on weekends I usually spend more time relaxing at home. I’m always checking in on them and giving them love whether that looks like playing with them or giving them a cuddle. I also check the water bowl multiple times a day to make sure they are hydrated. I try to have regular feeding times as well.

I love nature, the outdoors and finding out how best to care for your animal so that they don’t miss you too much. I absolutely appreciate forming long term client relationships so that you and your animals can relax and have fun. I am self-employed and can accommodate your needs. When I am hired for a pet-sit, this is my focus and priority. I can schedule all my other work around it. I have a lovely minimalist home for your pet, a small garden and plenty of leashed walking in the woods space for regular exercise. If a dog is ok with car rides, I’m happy to take them to the beach.

About: My family has always had pets my whole life, including a dog for 14 years and 3 cats. I was always dealt the task of taking care of them so I am very familiar with pet sitting. I was very good/reliable so this job seemed like a natural choice for me. I am currently working at a gym, but only 17 hours a week so this will be more of my main priority. Other than the part time job I am free! I have a fenced yard with a lot of room to play, as well as a safe and comfortable neighborhood street for walks. I also have 2 very friendly cats that stay either outside or in my Mother’s room.

About: Hey, I’m Chappy! Christopher is my legal name… I specialize in walking / caring for large dogs and working breeds, but am happy to work with all breeds and sizes. I have worked with high-energy, reactive, less than sociable dogs too, giving them the physical and metal fulfillment they need. I personally have two larger dogs, Count (German Shepherd Husky mix, 110lbs) and Bentley (German Shepherd Dutch Shepherd mix, 80lbs). I’ve also worked with a range of breeds from pugs to golden retrievers to Alsatian shepherds to American bull dogs. I’m a freelance, work from home marketer, so I’m pretty much always at home and available to take care of dogs, or am able to come to you and take your pup out. We live on roughly 8 acres in Sonoma County, so there is plenty of room at our home for dogs to run and explore. I have two friendly German Shepherd mix dogs that love having friends over. We also have a secure deck that the dogs loving sunbathing on and watching the world go by. I can crate your dog, if need be (we have a crate / room for crates), along with the ability to keep dogs separate if need be. Should your dog use a e-collar of any sort, I’m trained in properly using them, as both of my dogs are trained to them. If your dog loves to hike, we regularly go for hikes on the trails around Sonoma County, or to Dillon Beach to run around off leash.
