I accept only a limited number of clients so I can provide the dedicated, around-the-clock care your animals deserve. I work remotely and am able to be present with your pets during my entire stays. My ideal situation would be to establish a relationship where ongoing, consistent support can be available for both me and your pet/family! I am available for dog, cat, and house sitting, I have full overnight availability, and while I am not in a position to house your furry family members, I am available to come tend to them in your space. At this time, I am not available to bring animals to my home. I am, however, available to come tend to your furry family members at your home.

About: I love all animals! I have experience with dogs, cats, cows, reptiles (mainly snakes), chickens, ducks, rodents (rats, mice, hamster), rabbits, sheep, goats, birds, etc! I love connecting with each animal in their unique ways, I truly believe we have a lot to learn from these compassionate beings. It's my pleasure to make them feel safe, loved, well fed and fully exercised! I don't have a lot of experience with very old animals but I'm willing to learn what their specific and special needs are. I have had older dogs in my life so I do have a basic grasp on their needs but everyone is unique! I mostly work remote from home with the occasional pop into the warehouse once or twice a week. My schedule can be pretty flexible for the most part! I'll gladly learn the typical schedule you have with your pet so that they feel their care is secure and stable. Time of feeding, length of walk, treats, etc. Just let me know and I'll do my best to make you both feel considered and cared for. I'm not currently doing doggy day care or boarding. Eventually I will offer that service again! I might be open to it on a case by case basis.

My experience spans nearly a decade in the veterinary field, where I gained invaluable expertise in caring for sick and injured pets, as well as horses, cows, goats, sheep, donkeys, and pigs. This diverse background has enriched my understanding and approach to animal care. The greatest source of joy and personal development has been my American Staffordshire mix, Kai. His unique needs led me to explore behavioral modification programs, culminating in my apprenticeship with a lead trainer. I was honored to lead off-leash pack walks for groups of 6-8 dogs, many with ongoing behavioral challenges. For 10 years, I owned and operated a dog boarding, day care, walking, and training company. This experience allowed me to provide comprehensive care and training services to a wide variety of dogs, further honing my skills and passion for animal care. Additionally, I have enjoyed pet sitting and boarding for family, friends, and neighbors over the years. Kai and I are active adventurers, frequently exploring the mountains, coast, and open road. I specialize in caring for sick pets and administering medications and treatments, and I am excited to now offer my skills in animal communication. Rover is my full time job and I dedicate myself fully to pets in my care. I care for them like they are my own. About: I have been dog sitting for years but started Rover in 2022. I started out caring for my two pugs and cat, and have been sitting for family, friends, and folks on Rover. I am currently working as a flexible overnight nursing assistant, so I have plenty of time to take care and play with your pet! The rest of the days I am here to help, so they can get all the love and attention they can get while you’re away! When I am at a client’s home I make sure fencing is secured if needed. My home has a fence as well. I also make sure they have enough place to play whether it could be inside or out. I prefer to be outside with them! I love being active with animals but if you’re pet is somewhat a couch potato OR old, I can comfort them in whatever way they feel comfortable.

When sitting for dogs that are well behaved I tend to bring them with me everywhere I can, keeping them active and engaged. This means keeping things clean and making sure that nothing is destroyed. If something does get broken (which is uncommon) you will always know and if it was my fault I will, of course, replace it.
