About: Since high school I have had experience with normal pets to the exotic! I can honestly say that each animal is an individual that deserves their specific needs acknowledged and met. I do have experience with senior animals that need medication as well as special needs, there hasn’t been an experience that I haven’t learned from! I’ve even read books like Caesar’s Way in order to better understand my own pets and help them. I’ve even been known to be a bit of a perfectionist although that was in my earlier years now I can gladly say am a seasoned sitter! Caring for your family member fits into my routine because at the moment I am a dog Mom of one dachshund with a good partner that loves her as much as I do! I also do volunteer work, which is extremely flexible. Aside from that a lot of what I do is online, which works out great when pet care is involved I will care for your family member by noting all of their needs as well as asking any questions I have about the environment if it was not already covered in our introduction. I like to take notes!

About: I began working with animals at a young age, volunteering at local shelters such as the Truckee Humane Society and caring for dogs in the Tahoe community. I live on a large property that provides plenty of space for movement and exploration in a calm, natural setting. For safety, I always use a leash during walks and outdoor time until a strong relationship and reliable recall are established—or always, if that is your preference. I’m attentive to each dog’s temperament, boundaries, and energy level, and I strive to create a secure, low-stress environment where they feel confident and cared for. Clear communication with owners is important to me, and I follow all instructions closely to ensure continuity of care.

About: I have owned and cared for pets my entire life. I'm recently retired from a long career as a professional equestrian and horse trainer, and I'm excited to begin this journey of offering pet care services to the community! I have experience with all types and ages of pets ... from very young to very senior. I have experience administering medications, giving injections, and basic first aid. My lifestyle is active, and I'm happy to provide whatever exercise that your pet needs, whether that is a long trail hike, or simply walks around the neighborhood. And lots of love and snuggles of course :) I also have extensive horse experience, and limited experience with other livestock, and I'm happy to provide services for those animals as well. I currently work from home and have an extremely flexible schedule, which allows me to work around whatever your pet care needs are. I have a reliable 4 wheel drive vehicle, so I can get to some of the further out Nevada County destinations no problem. In many of these situations, I’ve also been responsible for watering plants, collecting mail, maintaining routines, and simply being a reassuring human presence in the home—keeping things running smoothly, lights on, and the house clearly lived-in while owners are away. I’m very comfortable accommodating unique requests and supporting both pets and homes with care and respect. I work remotely with a flexible schedule, which allows me to be present and adapt my day around your pets’ needs. I’m able to accommodate feeding schedules, walks, medication, playtime, and companionship, and I’m open to coordinating routines that support your pet’s comfort and wellbeing. I provide care in my clients’ homes, maintaining their pets’ normal routines and environment. I focus on calm, attentive presence, safety, and clear communication. I’m comfortable administering medication, managing feeding and exercise, and keeping the home clean, secure, and lived-in while you’re away. About: Been a proud owner of goats, cats, chickens, reptiles and dogs. I've had experience in the veterinary field, worked with and cared for livestock and house pets. I am currently working full time as a CNA, my schedule is kinda wacky. I work PM shifts from 2:30pm-10:30pm, on a four on and two off rotation. In my own home I have reptiles and three cats and one older dog around. If your pet is staying with me or I’m keeping them company in your own home, I always am engaging with the pet. Any opportunity to play and have some fun, we’re doing it! If they’re more laid back and want to snooze next to me, I will relax with them.

“Sasha dropped in on my dog Willow a few times this week and I could not have asked for a better person to take care of her. Willow is very nervous around strangers, generally very distrustful and defensive, but she seemed to connect with Sasha from the start at the meet and greet. Sasha was so sweet and understanding with her, never pushing Willow to interact more than she wanted to. When she dropped in, Sasha took Willow outside and played with her (sent me the most adorable video!!), refilled her water, gave her some treats, and cuddled with her on the couch. Before she left on the last day she even cleaned up some of Willow's toys, which I am always terrible about doing. It was such a sweet gesture when I myself was already nervous about someone coming over, it put me right at ease. ? Sasha was very communicative and went above and beyond dropping in on Willow and I couldn't be more grateful. I will definitely contact her again for future drop ins when I need them!”

About: Dogs bring us immense joy! We have owned and taken care of dogs our whole lives. My husband and I are retired and home almost all the time so your pup will get all the love and companionship they want. I am a painter with a home studio. My studio has dog beds, bowls and toys everywhere, but your pup is free to rest by the fire or in any one of the spots throughout our home including a large enclosed deck. We have about an acre, mostly enclosed and often frequented by our neighborhood deer so your dog will always be attended and on a leash when we go out. Feel free to request a meet and greet to meet us and check out our digs. We look forward to meeting you and your pup! *Due to our space and lifestyle we are not a good fit for high energy dogs or dogs that need long walks. *Please have your dog clean and nails trimmed. I have one small (12 lb) rescue, Daisy. Daisy is blind but manages very well. We have a fairly large fenced in area for your dog to roam around in or they can lay around on our sunny deck as they please:) Evenings are spent cuddling on the couch:)

With 10+ years of experience I enjoy long walks, playing fetch, tug of war and many other fun activities, feeding, & bathing your sweet pets. I’m a hairstylist with a flexible schedule, perfect for overnights, pop ins, & walks! My best days available are Monday-Thursday but weekends are pretty flexible I live on 10 acres off of the auburn wine trail, we have fenced in large fields to play a private pond with brisk up hill climb perfect for walks with no concern of cars or other dogs. I’ve been trusted by many families to stay in their home as well but I do prefer to have them come to me because it’s a dog paradise.
