About: I began working with animals at a young age, volunteering at local shelters such as the Truckee Humane Society and caring for dogs in the Tahoe community. Over the years, this has grown into a genuine passion for providing thoughtful, attentive, and reliable care for pets of all kinds. I prioritize quality time, enrichment, and exercise tailored to each dog’s individual needs whether that’s a structured walk, outdoor adventure, or simply calm, consistent companionship. I am especially mindful of maintaining routines, reinforcing good behavior, and ensuring your pet feels safe and comfortable while you’re away. I also provide regular photo updates so you can feel connected and confident knowing your pet is in good hands. I pride myself on being dependable, communicative, and detail-oriented, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. References are available upon request. My schedule is consistent and well-structured, which allows me to provide reliable and attentive care. I’m intentional about the number of pets I take on so that each dog receives plenty of one-on-one time, exercise, and engagement. I’m available for morning, midday, and evening care, and I do my best to accommodate specific routines or requests whenever possible. Whether your dog thrives on activity or prefers a slower pace, I tailor my schedule to meet their needs and keep things as consistent as possible. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I live on a large property that provides plenty of space for movement and exploration in a calm, natural setting. For safety, I always use a leash during walks and outdoor time until a strong relationship and reliable recall are established—or always, if that is your preference. I’m attentive to each dog’s temperament, boundaries, and energy level, and I strive to create a secure, low-stress environment where they feel confident and cared for. Clear communication with owners is important to me, and I follow all instructions closely to ensure continuity of care.

About: Since high school I have had experience with normal pets to the exotic! I can honestly say that each animal is an individual that deserves their specific needs acknowledged and met. I do have experience with senior animals that need medication as well as special needs, there hasn’t been an experience that I haven’t learned from! I’ve even read books like Caesar’s Way in order to better understand my own pets and help them. I’ve even been known to be a bit of a perfectionist although that was in my earlier years now I can gladly say am a seasoned sitter! Caring for your family member fits into my routine because at the moment I am a dog Mom of one dachshund with a good partner that loves her as much as I do! I also do volunteer work, which is extremely flexible. Aside from that a lot of what I do is online, which works out great when pet care is involved I will care for your family member by noting all of their needs as well as asking any questions I have about the environment if it was not already covered in our introduction. I like to take notes!

About: Been a proud owner of goats, cats, chickens, reptiles and dogs. I've had experience in the veterinary field, worked with and cared for livestock and house pets. I am currently working full time as a CNA, my schedule is kinda wacky. I work PM shifts from 2:30pm-10:30pm, on a four on and two off rotation. In my own home I have reptiles and three cats and one older dog around. If your pet is staying with me or I’m keeping them company in your own home, I always am engaging with the pet. Any opportunity to play and have some fun, we’re doing it! If they’re more laid back and want to snooze next to me, I will relax with them.

About: Dogs bring us immense joy! We have owned and taken care of dogs our whole lives. My husband and I are retired and home almost all the time so your pup will get all the love and companionship they want. I am a painter with a home studio. My studio has dog beds, bowls and toys everywhere, but your pup is free to rest by the fire or in any one of the spots throughout our home including a large enclosed deck. We have about an acre, mostly enclosed and often frequented by our neighborhood deer so your dog will always be attended and on a leash when we go out. Feel free to request a meet and greet to meet us and check out our digs. We look forward to meeting you and your pup! *Due to our space and lifestyle we are not a good fit for high energy dogs or dogs that need long walks. *Please have your dog clean and nails trimmed. I have one small (12 lb) rescue, Daisy. Daisy is blind but manages very well. We have a fairly large fenced in area for your dog to roam around in or they can lay around on our sunny deck as they please:) Evenings are spent cuddling on the couch:)

“Sasha dropped in on my dog Willow a few times this week and I could not have asked for a better person to take care of her. Willow is very nervous around strangers, generally very distrustful and defensive, but she seemed to connect with Sasha from the start at the meet and greet. Sasha was so sweet and understanding with her, never pushing Willow to interact more than she wanted to. When she dropped in, Sasha took Willow outside and played with her (sent me the most adorable video!!), refilled her water, gave her some treats, and cuddled with her on the couch. Before she left on the last day she even cleaned up some of Willow's toys, which I am always terrible about doing. It was such a sweet gesture when I myself was already nervous about someone coming over, it put me right at ease. ? Sasha was very communicative and went above and beyond dropping in on Willow and I couldn't be more grateful. I will definitely contact her again for future drop ins when I need them!”

I am currently a stay at home mom so what ever the pup or cat needs, I will be here to make sure it is cared for in the best way possible. I have a house with a fenced in backyard. I have a small dog myself and can be here for them all day. I can walk around my beautiful neighborhood and show love and care.

About: Since childhood, I have been surrounded by an array of animals, which created a deep respect and love for all animals. Currently, I live on my mother’s farm with two cats and have hands-on experience caring for animals of all sizes and ages, from newborns to seniors. While I work in dentistry, my true passion lies in wildlife rehabilitation. I treat every animal as a precious gift; whether yours or mine and I am dedicated to providing attentive and compassionate care while pet sitting your loved one! About: Hi there, my name is Courtney I love caring for fur babies of all shapes and sizes. With 10+ years of experience I enjoy long walks, playing fetch, tug of war and many other fun activities, feeding, & bathing your sweet pets. I’m a hairstylist with a flexible schedule, perfect for overnights, pop ins, & walks! My best days available are Monday-Thursday but weekends are pretty flexible I live on 10 acres off of the auburn wine trail, we have fenced in large fields to play a private pond with brisk up hill climb perfect for walks with no concern of cars or other dogs. I’ve been trusted by many families to stay in their home as well but I do prefer to have them come to me because it’s a dog paradise.
