About: I have been a dog owner for more than 18 years and I've been around cats and dogs my whole life. My partner and I, along with our 4-year-old Pyrenees mix, provide a safe, loving space with tons of room to run, and heaps of belly rubs. I'm currently working part time as a property manager on a 50 acre estate. My partner works from home. So one or both of us is around. We both take our dog for a long hike/bike/one wheel ride every evening that we would love to take your buddy with us. If I have take your dog to work I have a Tacoma with a camper shell that I bring Stevie in. It's safe and lockable so you can be assured that your fur baby is safe. We live in a single family home with two floors outside the Meyers roundabout. We allow dogs on couches, beds and have indoor and outdoor dog beds. We are a block away from miles of trails down to the Truckee river. Also I love running my dog Stevie with my one wheel around paradise park. Which is around 4 miles round trip. So if your dog needs lots of running and is safe on or off leash Ive got the toy for them. When not walking or riding we have a large fenced backyard (especially for Tahoe). So they won't be couped up inside. Please let us know what your best friend needs and we'll do our best to accommodate.

My need for pet care in the Tahoe area drew my attention and my adult children use Rover. I Love all kinds of animals and provide the BEST CARE possible for your dog or cat. Wether you are a local or vacationing in the Tahoe Area ! Everybody stays indoors at night. Day time Large yard and can provide kennel. Bring your own food a bed and kennel if you have one for your pet or I can provide seperste quiet space. South Lake Tahoe is the place to be ! See you at the lake ! I a retired Security officer locally. I have 7 Grandchildren. I have rabbits, kittens. My dog is my spoiled baby and loves other animals. I have pet experienced with all animals, large and small. About: I have a 5 year old gsd mix. I grew up with black labs but now i am surrounded by rescue dogs! My have 2 wonderful (furry) nieces named Scout and Winny that are full of energy. My family fostered 9 dogs successfully when I was in high school and I have cared for puppies and older dogs of mostly large to medium breeds. I have also had 2 cats and a pet snake in the past and am open to all animals and reptiles! I studied wildlife biology at Colorado State and now work here in stateline as a biologist. I only work 4 days a week and am able to commit my weekends to dog care! Jepson gets along w all dogs if you want to tag along on a dog- friendly hike, swim, bike ride or just plain walkies! I have a large backyard in the heart of south lake Tahoe that even my runaway dog hasn't gotten out of yet! We do daily walkies and weekend activities such as biking, hiking and swimming. Usually spend at least an hour in backyard with the dogs a day as well!

My fur babies came back from Melisssa well loved and cared for. She made sure to keep in contact with photos and updates throughout their stay. I have a Chihuahua and a Cat, so sometimes it can be hard to find a good fit. This one was perfect! Hightly recommend.
Nettie was fantastic! During my dog's 5-day stay with Nettie, I had ZERO concerns about his well-being. From taking him to the lake, to tucking him in under a blanket, Nettie delivered top-notch care. And when, mid-stay, I asked if I could add a night, she went out of her way to accommodate my request & devised a special pick-up plan that worked with both of our schedules. Top-notch in every way! My boys had a great time with Jessica. She spoiled them with fun walks, playtime outside and comfy rests in the couch lol. She sent photos to let me know they were having fun and it was so comforting to know they were in loving care. We were able to enjoy our night out without guilt or worry. Absolutely recommend 100%! One of the best River sitters we’ve had. Also a very convenient location when visiting the South Lake Tahoe area. If we get back this way, we will use her again. Five woods from Grizzly and Bear!
Shannon was awesome! My dog, Arroyo loved staying with her. He got plenty of good walks and games of fetch, and when I picked him up he wad ready for a good long nap, which is the sign of a fun time. Also got some cute pictures from his walks, which are always fun to see
Kerri deserves nothing less than 5 stars! She cared for my two vizslas with lots of love and care, including regular walks which are essential for my high energy pups! I received many photo updates which is always helpful in knowing they are enjoying their time.
Morty had a great time with Lara and her updates helped me feel settled since it was the first time I’d left him for a weekend since our move. She’s super communicative, her home feels safe and clean and welcoming for pups, and her dog Tango is a great host too. Morty will be back!
