Shelby is great dog-walker for my German Shepherd, Angel! She communicates on time, and sends me pictures and updates. I have now had her take care of Angel four times, and I will be happy to book her again in the future. Shelby is truly a dog-lover and provides an excellent service for me. I would highly recommend her!

She brings amazing energy and genuine affection to every walk, ensuring my dog gets exercise and lots of snuggles. Libby gets so excited when she arrives. About: I’ve owned pets my entire life, and then when I went off to college I volunteered at an animal shelter for all four years. Working with animals is something that I love doing with a passion. I’m the go-to pet sitter for all friends and family. I’m currently working a part time job and have a very flexible schedule. This gives plenty of time to focus on your pets, and their needs. I typically prefer to take care of pets in their own home where they already feel comfortable and safe. It’s important for me to try and follow their typical routine as closely as possible. I make sure to give them lots of attention because I know the stress of their owners leaving can be a lot.

About: I'm most experienced with dogs and cats. That said, I am willing to look after any pet! I've always had dogs of my own, and I previously volunteered at a shelter which gave me added experience walking dogs of many breeds, ages, and temperaments. I am also familiar with giving medications (pills/capsules, eye ointments), crating, automatic feeders, and self-cleaning litter robots. I have a flexible schedule with plenty of time to give your pets the attention they deserve! I am able to accommodate both weekday and weekend requests at nearly any time-with exception of Tuesday mornings and Friday afternoons. Your pets, your home, your rules! The clearer instructions the better, and please be open to answer questions where needed. I promise to do my best in following your guidelines to protect your space and animals!

About: I’ve been around animals since I was little. From indoor pets to farms. I’m definitely an animal person. I have raised animals, and I have watched animals take their last breath. They deserve the world. I currently work part-time so I have plenty of time to take care of your animals. I am just a message away. Any day of the week I am available. Getting trust with animals is very important. Your animals are only apart of your life for a short time, but you are there whole world.

About: I’ve owned and raised German Shepherds as both a kid and an adult, so I’m very comfortable with large, high-energy breeds. I currently have a 4 month old pup and am well versed on the day-to-day realities of caring for furry family members. My professional background is in operations and management, and I'm the father of a 5 y/o boy, so I will approach caring for your pet the same way I do everything else with a straightforward focus on safety, structure, and reliability. I know how to follow specific routines, respect house rules, and give a dog the right balance of exercise and downtime. Whether your pup needs a solid game of fetch to burn off energy or, just some quiet company, they'll be in safe hands. My schedule is currently very flexible during the week, making me highly available for midday walks and drop-in potty breaks when you are stuck at work or away. Whether your pup needs a quick drop-in for food and a backyard play session or a full neighborhood walk to burn off energy, I am dependable, on time, and ready to help keep your dog's daily routine consistent Your dog’s safety and the security of your home are my top priorities. During drop-ins and walks, I am incredibly diligent about double-checking that doors and gates are securely locked when I leave, fresh water is filled, and leashes are properly fitted. I have plenty of experience managing larger, high-energy dogs on a leash, ensuring our walks are controlled, safe, and focused entirely on your pup

I've also watched chickens, turtles, and cats! I am a stay at home mom to 2 wonderful little boys! So I am readily available for your pet! We cannot wait to play and meet your pet! I have a fenced in yard. I have a small 8 lb dog that is unamused by other dogs and will keep his distance. Your dog can be crated if you'd prefer. I also have a toddler who knows to be gentle with our dog and will be with yours too.

About: Hi! I’m Christine, and I’m so happy you’re here! 😊 Animals have always had a special place in my heart, and being a pet sitter is truly something I love. I understand that pets aren’t “just pets” — they’re family — and I treat every dog or cat I care for with the same love, patience, and attention I would want for my own. Whether your pet is playful and energetic or quiet and cuddly, I take the time to make them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I love giving lots of affection, going on walks, sticking to routines, and making sure your pet feels relaxed while you’re away. I’ll always keep you updated with photos and messages so you can enjoy peace of mind knowing your furry friend is happy and in good hands. I can’t wait to meet you and your pet and become your trusted go-to sitter! 🐾💕 Dependable and loving sitter experience. I currrently work from home and happy to care for pet in your home or mine. Daily photo/video updates. Cleaning food bowls and basic pet mess clean up. Plenty of attention, affection, and supervision I have a fenced in yard and two golden doodles who love to play. Skilled in maintaining a clean, safe environment. Reliable and attentive caregiver.

About: I have been taking care of primarily cats since I was 5 years old, but have come to love our canine friends just as much over the years, and have taken care of many friends' and family's furry family members over the years. I pride myself on being an attentive caregiver, with a respect for animals' unique personalities and boundaries, allowing me to take the time to gain each animal's trust in their own time. My days are currently very free and I am available for all your pet care needs. As a night owl myself, I also am more than happy to take on late night/early morning work for the pet owners with more late-night oriented schedules. I promise to always be an attentive caregiver for your pets, making sure I always know their location within the property, providing photo/video status updates if you'd like, and monitoring their behavior for signs of their moods and needs. As someone who works well within structure, any schedule you provide for regular care tasks will be followed to a T. I respect that while I am taking care of your companion I am in both your home and theirs and will treat the space with the utmost respect. Please do inform me ahead of starting of any areas that are restricted to your pet and any other expectations you have for your space so I can ensure that all things run as though you never left!

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Camp Hill. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. • 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
