About: I’ve loved caring for various pets over the years. Growing up, I’ve been fortunate to be in a family that adores and cherishes our pets. We currently have 6 (3 dogs, 3 cats). Since I was about 15 years old, I’ve spent time helping family, friends, and neighbors with caring for their pets, including staying at their home to be with their fur babies. I have worked with large dogs (American Bulldogs, Pitbulls, etc.) and I have also dealt with small animals (Yorkies, Minidoodles, etc.). I love pets of all kind and would take great care of yours. My services can be dog sitting at your place, taking them for walks, feeding them, or even if you need someone to just visit them to make sure they are okay! I am currently working on my Master’s. My flexibility is open, aside from Thursday’s and Friday afternoons. Otherwise, I am available during weekdays and weekends at pretty much any time, as long as we plan in a reasonable time frame. I will provide services based on your preferences. As for dog walking, I would prefer your dog have a harness and rope leash as these have historically been the most durable for me. However, I’m not too picky and will adjust based on your pets usual care routines.

They watched him from Friday to Sunday during our wedding weekend and went so above and beyond anything we could have asked for. They cared for Moose like he was their own, Moose got to play with their adorable service dog, Lucy, and Gary is not just a dog-sitter, but a trainer as well, so Moose was learning and being trained all weekend as well. Gary was there for us and brought Moose to different locations when we needed him for wedding photos, and for practicing the ceremony (which Moose was in), and Gary became like the Moose-wedding-handler and he was so fantastic, I can't say enough good things. Gary and Paige were so laid back and sweet and Moose truly loved them. Can't recommend them enough!!!!”

About: I’ve had animals from childhood and love learning about all of their special requirements so that they thrive and are happy. I’ve received multiple trainings in pet first aid and never leave the house without being prepared. I’m also a founding member of my county’s animal response team and have received all of the federal emergency training that goes along with that. I take continuing education classes and work with my dogs every day in cooperative care and have successfully taught them, through gentle means, to accept things like nail trims and teeth brushing - a bit of a passion of mine. I have room in my schedule morning, lunch, and evening walks and feeding. I have limited space to take your dog to my home for boarding. I have plenty of property but would keep your dog on a leash when going outside. I have two dogs who are very dog friendly and make friends easily. They just love to chase the ball and love life. I am extremely conscientious; my dogs are very well cared for. I bring that same level of care to everything that I do.

I'm a freelance writer who works from home with no set schedule, so my days are very flexible. I can accommodate whatever you and your pet need. I'll treat your pet like my own. I'll be sure they receive any food or medication required, with an extra dose of love and attention. I'm also respectful of your space and privacy.

Although my dog is rather nervous around strangers, my pup ended up sleeping with Elisha during a storm. It gave me great comfort to know my animals were being looked after during the storm and while we were away. Looking forward to having her watch my pets again next week!! We had her drop-in twice a day and she was really thorough with feeding, taking care of the litter box, and snuggling with them all during each visit. Our dog needs daily medication and one cat needed ointment on her paws and she expertly handled all their needs. Our cat’s paws are better already because of Caitlyn’s care and attention. We absolutely will hire Caitlyn again and would highly recommend her to the Rover community!”

Friends and family have counted on me to care for their fur babies while they’re away on vacation, daily drop ins, and overnight stays. I am accepting both dog and cat care!
