About: I'm a lifelong dog lover from the UK currently traveling around Canada. I’ve had dogs in my home all my life and have spent the last 7 years dog sitting for a wide range of breeds from energetic dogs who need long, adventurous walks, to older dogs who just enjoy a gentle stroll and relaxing in the park. I’ve also trained my own dog and a friends so I’m comfortable reinforcing commands. Being around dogs is something i miss while traveling, so I’d love the chance to help care for yours as if they were my own. I’m not working so I will be able to follow any routine the dog or animal has. I love to go on long walks so will happily take the dog out for as long as you recommend I am constantly aware of the animals in my care and keep an eye on them whether it’s in the garden at the park or in the house. This also mean I will follow any rules that the owner has set out

My partner, Brandon, and I plan to play with and exercise any pup until they are tired and content. We would love to work on any tricks and training with your dog and go on fun outings like the dog park and beaches. We both have over 10 years of experience with large and small, old and young dogs. We are trustworthy and conscientious individual who would be thrilled to meet your furry family member and care for them and/or your home while you are away (whether that’s for daily work, or vacation). We both work from home and our own dog, Levi, is used to potty breaks every ~4 hours and 2x 30minute walks per day, but we are flexible! My partner and I both work from home so we can accommodate daytime check-ins/ walks and frequent breaks for any dogs staying with us. Our dog gets 2x daily 30 minute walks and potty breaks every ~4 hours We have a partially fenced yard here, and are flexible to work with what your home and routine is. We’ll make sure your door is locked, and gates are closed!

About: We have been part of Trusted House Sitters for the last six months where we have looked after a large number of cats and dogs as well as lovely homes. Each cat and dog has varied in age and needs, from administering medication to handling reactive behaviour. I also grew up with smaller animals, such as rabbits, hamsters and fish. I also grew up near a farm and would always help out during lambing season. Milo has grown up with dogs and cats. He has also had chickens, a tropical fish tank and lizards. As a teenager he spent 2 summers as a farm hand on a small hobby farm looking after animals such as llamas, pigs, horses, goats and even emu's. Over the last few years we have been looking after our friends cats and dogs and love any opportunity we can get for cuddles and walks! When our friends and families have been on holidays/travelling we have always been on hand to help look after their houses and make sure everything is running smoothly! I am currently between jobs, since we have recently moved to Vancouver and Milo works on a Freelance basis so between us we have plenty of time to look after and play with your dogs and cats. When we are looking after pets in their parents home we try and adhere to their schedules as much as possible so that the pet does not experience too much disruption as well as ensuring we are implementing their training and any rules within the house. Also, as homeowners ourselves we understand the importance of looking after other peoples homes and ensuring that we are leaving them in as good (or better) state as the client left it.

About: I've worked as a volunteer in cat and dog shelters in Canada, Costa Rica and India. Have experience taking care of senior dogs and senior cats as well as administering medications. I currently work part time so I have plenty of time to take dogs for walks or visiting kitties. I live near many dog walking trails in West Vancouver where I take many of my four legged friends for fun walks. When I go to visit cats I like to brush them, play with them and make sure their beds are nice and tidy. Clean the litter, refresh their water bowls as well as spending quality time. When I walk dogs I like to teach them tricks and talk to them. If they are up for it we go for runs :)
