About: I've been doing SPCA volunteering and as a summer student for over 5 years now, which has included taking care of cats and dogs of various sizes by giving them medicine, cleaning up their space, and entertaining them to make sure they are ready for a new home. I am confident and caring. I am currently a research student at Dal with a huge interest in learning all things animal science, to become a vet. With my downtime, I want to allow others to enjoy their downtime while I enjoy mine with their pets, since balancing school and work does not allow me to have my own right now .. I prioritize owner communication, and I can't wait to meet you!! i am currently working at the Dal campus as a summer student. I'm available any time after 4:30 on the weekdays and any time during weekends (please check my calendar), This availability will vary in July and August but please don't hesitate to ask. I'm open to anything and will try my best to make things work according to your needs i am currently in an apartment complex, therefore, I think it's best if I were to come to the pet owner's house to reduce the stress of taking their pet out of a place that's familiar and safe for them (this includes dogs and cats), but I am open to walking dogs wherever the owner prefers!

“Kennedy is so sweet and was great with our bully mix Nicky! She was super flexible and provided lots of updates and cute photos while we were away!”

“Was thrilled to have good communication and lots of pictures of our dogs for our very 1st time leaving them. Laura went above and beyond by cleaning up after many days of rainy, muddy paw prints throughout the house and even washed all the bedding, which was definitely not expected. A nice treat to come home and have one less thing to worry about.”

About: What sets me apart from other pet sitters is the combination of genuine love, professional care, and personalized attention I bring to every animal I care for. I treat each pet as if they were my own—tuning into their individual needs, personalities, and routines to ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. With a background in pet sitting, walking, and overnight care, I bring more than just a watchful eye—I bring experience, intuition, and the ability to respond calmly and confidently in any situation. Reliability, communication, and trust are at the heart of my service. I keep pet parents updated with photos, messages, and reports, so you can enjoy peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and well cared for. Whether it’s daily walks, medication administration, or extra cuddle time, I go the extra mile to make every visit meaningful. Animals feel that difference—and so do their owners. Right now, I’m fully available, which means pet care is my top priority and focus. I have the flexibility to accommodate a wide range of schedules, whether that’s early morning walks, midday visits, or overnight stays. This open availability allows me to be responsive, consistent, and adaptable to each pet’s routine and any last-minute needs that may come up. Because I’m not balancing other major commitments, I’m able to give each animal the time, energy, and attention they deserve. Whether it’s sticking to a strict medication schedule, providing companionship throughout the day, or making sure pets get the exercise and stimulation they need, I’m available to meet those needs with care and dedication. Whether I'm caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, my approach is always centered around creating a calm, safe, and familiar environment where animals feel comfortable, loved, and well cared for. In My Home: I provide a cozy, pet-friendly space with plenty of comfort, enrichment, and supervision. I make sure each pet has their own area to relax, play, and feel secure—especially important for those who are shy or need quiet time. I maintain a clean, structured environment, and stick closely to each pet’s normal routine, including feeding times, exercise, and medications if needed. Daily walks, playtime, and cuddles are all part of the care I provide. In a Client’s Home: When caring for pets in their own home, I make sure to follow all routines exactly as instructed to reduce stress and keep things as familiar as possible. I treat the home with the utmost respect and keep it tidy and secure. Whether it’s multiple daily visits or overnight stays, I provide companionship, exercise, and attentive care, while keeping pet parents updated regularly with photos and notes. No matter the setting, I’m committed to giving pets the same level of love, safety, and attention they’d get from their own family.

Pet care is my daily life, I have my own animals I care for and then I am also responsible for some of the animals available on campus. I devote majority of my time to my animals and value their health and wellbeing I care for my own pets by ensuring they have scheduled feeding times that align with my morning and night routines, a schedule for your pets is key to ensure they have a sense of comfort and norm in their lives. I ensure that my animals get time outside (even my cats) and that they always have enrichment opportunities infront of them including puzzle, or audible toys for stimulation! This will go for your pets too! I know domestic animal body language and it’s easy to tell when a cat or dog may be bored or misbehaving for attention, I read this body language and will use it as a way to ensure your pets have a good day!

“Hannah was awesome with my two giant breed dogs. They tend to be nervous when my spouse and I are gone, but we knew they were being well looked after and loved from the moment Hannah met us for the meet and greet. Hannah sent lots of pictures and videos and daily updates with things like walks, bathroom regularities, moods & experiences while in the neighborhood. She made us feel so comfortable when leaving our boys. Additionally, Hannah noticed that our neighbours had their garbage out so took it upon herself to put our garbage out too, as well as changing out sheets for us and keeping our house immaculately clean. Couldn’t ask for someone better to look after Finn and Frank and our home.”

About: Having professional experience in boarding/ daycare kennels allows me the ability to understand dog behavior and how to handle dogs of all temperaments. As well as pet sitting for family friends for years. Working mostly part time allows me to be free plenty of hours to be available to walk your dogs most hours of the day or any day of the week. I treat the animals as though they were my own. Keeping in mind how I would want my own cat or dog to be treated if they were entrusted to another person's care.

Brooklyn H.
“I’ve had the pleasure of living with Brooklyn and seeing firsthand how naturally caring and responsible she is—especially when it comes to animals. I have two cats, and Brooklyn was always so gentle, patient, and loving with them. She would watch them for me from time to time whenever I was away from home, and it was such a relief knowing they were in such capable, trustworthy hands. Whether it was feeding them, spending time with them, or just keeping an eye on things, she always went above and beyond. If you’re looking for someone who will care for your pets like they’re her own, I can’t recommend Brooklyn enough. Any pet would be lucky to have her as their sitter or walker!”

Brooklyn C.
“I can’t thank my cousin Brooklyn enough for what she did while I was away in Costa Rica for 16 days. Right before I left, my dog Monty was diagnosed with Lyme disease, and I was seriously considering canceling my trip. He needed medication twice a day and pain meds as needed—he wasn’t himself, and I was terrified to leave him. Brooklyn not only stepped up, but went above and beyond. She stayed at my apartment to make sure Monty was comfortable, kept up with his strict medication schedule, and gave him the love and attention he needed to start healing. She kept my home in order like it was her own and stayed in constant communication so I could actually relax knowing Monty was in the best hands. Once he started feeling better, she even took him on little adventures to lift his spirits, which meant the world to me. I came home to a happy dog, a clean apartment, and so much gratitude for her. I truly couldn’t have done it without her—and neither could Monty.”

Jada G.
“Anyone who knows Jada, knows she is an attentive and loving pet caregiver. Jada has extensive experience caring for cats and dogs through the SPCA volunteer program as well as from her many hours spent in the barn, caring for her animals she’s responsible for as a bio veterinary science student. She is the sole caregiver for her kitty Roni, even as a full time student living on her own.”

“I have had Danielle look after my fur babies on several occasions. They always get excited when they see her. She is caring, loving and patient. She takes the time to get to know the dogs and what their behaviours mean. I would definitely recommend her to others who either need a walker or a sitter for their fur babies.”
