About: I grew up in a household where our dogs were like our siblings, as an adult I've either lived in pet filled homes or owned my own dogs. I also spent five winters dog-sledding, which involved working with dogs of all sizes and personalities, and loving them just the same! I'm currently a dog-mom to our lovely Rosie Doodle. I will treat your pets, and your home, like they are my own. My husband and I both work from home so more often that not one or both of us is here to keep your pets company. We are happy to set up meet and greets. We live walking distance to an off-leash dog park, multiple trails and the beach. We spend most of our days outside. Feel free to ask me any questions and let me know anything special that your furry family members need or prefer. I run my own yoga and massage business and have time to spare throughout the week. My schedule is fairly flexible and I can likely adapt to what you and your pets need. We have a gentle Golden Doodle who loves the company of other dogs and cats. We have an almost half acre yard which is mostly fenced. Your pet will have lots of space to roam and feel comfortable inside and outside. We also have a toddler who loves animals.

About: We have had pets our entire life. Now retired and travel a few months a year, so currently without a pet because of our travels. Missing the love of our own pets (Scruffy lived to 17 and Cedes lived to 16). So we have decided that the love of your pets, would be lovely and would benefit all involved. We live 2 blocks from the beach, which gives the dogs a great run and or swim permitting of course :) My wife and I are both retired and walk to the beach everyday, would be nice to have a dog to walk with us. For the evenings it would be nice to cuddle up to a dog or cat. We live on the bottom floor of a pet friendly building, with access to a yard. We do have a wrap around deck with a 2 foot brick wall/planter that is gated to large partially fenced yard. Pics attached. We both have knowledge of caring for both dogs and cats.

About: Hello. I am an animal lover. I currently share my home with my rescued bunny, Phyllis. I have experience in animal care and have personally trained four dogs, including our American Bulldog, weighing around 115 pounds.  I have also trained two German short-haired pointer puppies, Lucy, my rescue Plott hound, and Penny, an Antiguan rescue. Most recently, I have worked at a doggy daycare and kennel that focused on the highest quality care with maximum outdoor time. I trained these dogs only using positive reinforcement. High praise, affection, and rewards with highly valued treats are the most effective in training and building a trusted relationship with a dog. I don’t believe in using any kind of aversion training for any reason.  I love being outdoors and enjoy hiking and taking long walks. I love to be accompanied by a dog while doing this, as dogs bring me much joy.  I am also available to pet sit in your home while you are at work or on vacation. I’m happy to provide you with references, and I look forward to meeting you and your pets. When I am with your fur baby, I will be there every day and night. I try to spend as much time as possible with my bunny, and friends' dogs when I am not caring for others’ babies. That being said, I would love to spend lots of time outside with your fur babies. We start the day with bunny demands for treats and snuggles. From there I give Phyllis her pellets and unlimited greens, change her water and fill her hay, and then more snuggles and occasionally some fruit treats. The same quality of love, care and attention will be my number one priority for your baby.

About: I will treat your pets like they are my family to! Hi, I'm Allison. I was born & raised on the Sunshine Coast & it is my forever home. In my 34 years I have loved & cared for many animals including: cats, dogs, reptiles, amphibians, mice, bunnies, & guinea pigs! I have been cat and dog sitting and walking for quite a few different clients up & down the coast on and off Rover. I've stayed for a week or more at a time & made sure they had daily walks, play, feeding, cleaning up after them, and keeping the home clean. I also have my dog and cat first aid certificate through red cross, and 2 certificates of completion through PIJACC (Pet Industry Joint Advisory Council of Canada) for care of small animals & also reptiles & amphibians. I currently have 2 wonderful cats, as well as 5 reptiles in my care at home. I'm very experienced with puppies & kittens, as well as senior pets, and have given oral medications countless times. I also have quite a lot of experience with reactive dogs. If I'm given details on what causes them to be reactive I can make sure they have a fun and safe walk and relaxing time at home! Animals are my passion and this is what I do for my career, so I'm always available to walk, drop in, or pet sit day & night! (As long as my rover calander says I'm available) I'm always able to stay with your pets 24/7 until you return. I'm currently only on the Sunshine Coast. I'm a very calm & kind presence with animals, but I do love to play and be silly with the pets once they get to know me. My utmost priority is to have your pet trust me & feel completely safe. I'm a rule follower & do everything in my power to make it the best and most comfortable experience for your fur family.

About: My husband, David and I, have had family pets from a big sloppy yellow lab, Chase, to a stubborn headstrong terrier cross, Zoey. We've also had a number of cats over the years and have a great love for dogs, cats and others. As I have transitioned from working full-time to retirement, David and I thought this would be a good way to meet some people and pets and also offer more support to pet owners on the coast. We will treat your pet like we treat our own, as a part of the family. Your guidance and instructions will be important for us to understand so we can keep the care of your pet as seamless as possible.
