“Celine saved us when we had issues with our planned dog sitter and were out of town! Cookie had a great time - you could tell and she came back calm and happy. Celine kept us up to date all the time with photos and information, which we greatly appreciated as they hadn’t had the opportunity to meet beforehand. A million thanks!”

About: I’ve had animals my entire life and caring for them has always been one of my biggest passions. I previously worked at the SPCA because I strongly believe in animal welfare and rescue over supporting pet stores. Over the years I’ve cared for rats, rabbits, bunnies, geckos, hamsters, birds, squirrels, pigs, cats, and dogs. Every species has different physical and mental needs, and I take the time to learn what allows each animal to truly thrive—not just survive. I’ve never believed in keeping animals in the small cages sold in most pet stores. Instead, I build large, custom enclosures designed specifically for each individual animal’s needs, giving them plenty of room to explore, play, and live comfortably. Daily care is something I take very seriously. Every animal receives individual attention, enrichment, playtime, fresh food and water, and their living space is spot-cleaned and maintained every single day to ensure they stay healthy, happy, and stress-free. Whether I’m caring for my own animals or someone else’s, I treat every pet as if they were my own family. My goal is always to provide a safe, enriching, and loving environment where every animal receives the care, patience, and respect they deserve. Pet sitting fits well into my schedule because I have a flexible routine and can plan my days around the pets in my care. I make it a priority to stick to each pet’s normal feeding, exercise, and medication schedule, and I’m available for morning, afternoon, evening, or overnight visits depending on the owner’s needs. I only take on a manageable number of pets at a time so that every animal receives the time, attention, and care they deserve. I always follow each pet’s normal routine to help them feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I’ll make sure they have fresh food and water, a clean living space, plenty of exercise, playtime, and affection based on their personality. I pay close attention to their behavior and well-being, keep your home clean and secure, and will happily send regular photo and video updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.
“Ils sont tellement gentils et ont pris soin de Kiwi de façon expérimentée et professionnelle. J'ai reçu plusieurs photos et Kiwi était toujours à l'aise. Je recommande fortement.”

About: Hey! This is Chelsea! I’m a dog person! I have ten years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of different breeds, sizes, and temperaments, including multi-dog households. I’m also a pet groomer:) I’m currently self employed so I have a lot of time staying with my furry friends:) I understand that every pet is unique, so I always take the time to learn their routines, personalities, and special needs. Whether it’s daily walks, feeding, playtime, basic grooming, or simply keeping them company, I treat every pet as if they were my own. I provide a calm, clean, and safe home environment, and I’m very attentive to details such as hygiene, behavior changes, and stress signals. I’m especially comfortable handling energetic dogs, anxious pets, and dogs that need structure and consistency. Clear communication with pet parents is very important to me. I’m happy to provide regular photo and video updates so you can feel confident and at ease while you’re away.
“Laila and her husband took amazing care of our Luka while we were away for almost two weeks. She was very attentive to his needs, communicated well with us, and went the extra mile to go get him eye drops when he needed them for his irritated eye, buying the correct food when it ran out since we were on a long trip, and even bought us an extra bag of food so I wouldn’t have to go through the trouble of passing by the pet store while settling back in from my trip. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a sitter, Luka looked to have a great time with them and I will definitely contact them for future trips!”

“At the beginning of searching for someone to take care of our puppy, we didn’t know where to go then we found the website ‘Rover’ and we decided on Sérine. She had good reviews and rebooks, which was a good sign plus they mentioned that she provided them with pictures - which we thought was very thoughtful. Our ‘Molly’ seemed so happy in all of the pictures and videos that we didn’t worry at all plus the comments that Sérine made concerning our pup was so caring and thoughtful ❤️. We went to pick Molly up and she was so excited to see us which is normal but her dog was so excited to want to play with her even to the point of dog crying cause he didn’t want her to go 😊. We didn’t say a word but then Molly went over to Sérine for a pat and rubbed up to legs - it was so sweet - then she was ready to go home. We would rebook again and we would definitely recommend Sérine. We gave her a tip before we left (we weren’t aware that we could do it here) to show our appreciation. Thank you again Sérine from Molly and her parents ❤️😘🤗”

“Marco and Stephanie are absolutely amazing. They took incredible care of Zeus, and I couldn't be happier. What impressed me most was their patience and skill; they actually took the time to teach Zeus how to behave around cats. He can now coexist with them without any issues! It’s rare to find sitters who go above and beyond like this. Highly recommended!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
