About: What sets me apart is the calm, attentive environment I provide. I grew up in a home that regularly rescued and fostered dogs, so caring for different personalities, energy levels, and behavioral needs has always been part of my life. We always had at least two dogs in the house at a time, and I’ve continued that into adulthood with my own rescues - Rose, who I’ve had since she was 1 (now 14), and Baby, who has been with me for 6 years. I’m often told I have a calm, easy energy that dogs naturally trust. I’m especially patient and understanding with anxious dogs and behavioral sensitivities, while still creating a relaxed and stable environment. I work from home, so dogs are never left unsupervised and always have consistent attention, care, and companionship throughout the day. My home is cozy, calm, and dog-focused, with a large fenced backyard for fetch, sunbathing, and safe outdoor time. I treat every dog like they’re my own and prioritize making them feel secure, comfortable, and cared for while they’re with me. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine because I work from home and already structure my days around caring for animals. My own dogs are a huge part of my everyday life, so walks, outdoor time, feeding schedules, play, cuddles, and supervision are already built into my routine. I’m home often throughout the day, which allows me to give pets consistent attention, companionship, and care rather than leaving them alone for long periods. I genuinely enjoy creating a calm, cozy environment where animals can relax, feel safe, and settle into a comfortable rhythm. Weekly, I prioritize keeping a clean and pet-friendly home and making sure animals get both mental stimulation and downtime depending on their personality and needs. Whether a pet is energetic and playful or more anxious and reserved, I’m attentive to helping them feel comfortable and cared for while they’re with me. Safety is always my top priority when caring for dogs in my home. I have two friendly rescue dogs who are calm, social, and well accustomed to sharing space with other animals. I always prioritize slow, respectful introductions and pay close attention to each dog’s comfort level, personality, and boundaries. I provide a calm, structured environment where dogs are supervised closely and never left unattended outdoors. My home is ground level and has a large fenced backyard for safe outdoor time, fetch, bathroom breaks, and relaxing in the sun, and all yard time is monitored. Inside the home, I use tools like baby gates when needed to create separate spaces for rest, decompression, feeding, or quieter introductions. Because I work from home, I’m present throughout the day to supervise interactions, maintain routines, and make sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and cared for. My goal is always to create a cozy, low-stress environment where dogs can settle in comfortably and feel at home.

She already has such fabulous reviews, I can't add much more to what everybody else has been saying! I will say this tho: My dog is on the shy and reserved side and I was worried that her nerves would last through out her 5 day long stay with Didem. But Oopik (my dog!) loved her and acclimatized so quickly! ...which meant she felt comfortable, safe and happy. This took so much stress off of me. I felt like I didn't have to worry about her at all! I would let Oopik stay with Didem again 100%.”

Que ce soit pour des promenades, des câlins ou simplement une présence attentive, je m’engage à offrir un cadre sécuritaire et bienveillant à votre animal. 🐕 💕 🐈‍⬛ Je travaille de la maison, je n’ai pas d’enfants et je n’ai présentement aucun animal. J’ai beaucoup de flexibilité et de temps, en semaine comme le week-end, pour prendre soin de votre animal. J’habite dans un grand condo, sans cour arrière. C’est un environnement non-fumeur, sécuritaire, avec pratiquement aucun risque de fugue. Le quartier est calme et il y a peu de circulation automobile.

J’avoue avoir été assez nerveux à l’idée de laisser ma chienne à un « étranger », surtout que nos chiens n’ont jamais été séparés et que Kaly est très anxieuse — elle pleure même lorsque je quitte la maison pour une courte course. J’ai toutefois été agréablement surpris par son comportement avec Elton : elle lui a fait confiance instantanément. Le service et la communication ont été excellents du début à la fin. I was very hesitant to entrust Kaly, one of our three huskies, to someone else. After reviewing several pet sitter profiles on Rover, Elton’s immediately caught my attention. I admit I was quite nervous about leaving my dog with a “stranger,” especially since our dogs have never been separated and Kaly is very anxious—she even cries when I leave the house for a quick errand. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how she behaved with Elton: she trusted him right away. The service and communication were excellent from start to finish.
