About: Growing up in Northern Ireland, I had cats and dogs (2 golden retrievers and a border collie/retriever mix) and often looked after friends, family and neighbours' pets when they were on vacation. I've lived in Montreal for 15 years and many friends here have entrusted me with looking after their pets over the years too. I had my own dog, June, who passed away from cancer in 2023. June was an Arabian Saluki rescue and was nervous in certain situations, especially around other dogs, so I have a lot of experience dealing with leash reactivity, positive reinforcement training and managing stress levels (the dog's and my own)! I have a lot of patience and a gentle approach - I will always try to ensure that a dog is as comfortable and happy as possible in my presence. The same goes for cats! I am lucky to have an extremely affectionate cat (Momo) but I know not all cats want a human in their face, so I will give them as much attention as they want (or just give them their space, if that's what they need!) I would be honoured to be trusted with caring for your pet! I am currently on a career break and have lots of time during my week to dedicate to your pet - either in my home or at yours. I'm available for a range of services: dog-walking, petsitting (at your home or mine), daily visits or doggy daycare. If the dog is coming to my home: I do not have a yard but am 2 blocks away from Parc Promenade Bellerive, Parc Taillon and Parc Clement-Jette. I have a large crate (the travel type, not a cage) so am equipped to crate your dog if that's part of your routine. I live in a typical condo, with one large, open living area and 2 closed bedrooms. Since I have a cat, your dog would need to be comfortable with cats too. If your dog is more comfortable staying in its own environment, I can come to your home. I am clean and tidy and would be respectful of your space. For cats, I would be happy to come to your home. I cannot accommodate them in my home.
About: Always been good with dogs, my main focus is for them to be comfortable and safe, play with them and cuddle when possible! Dog owner since young, I’ve had Dalmatians, Rottweilers, I’ve had street rescues and currently own a Xolo (who has his own set of challenges, specially in winter) Comfortable accommodating special routines and circumstances since not all dogs are the same. My puppies have always been my babies and when I haven’t been able to own a pet I’ve always helped with babysitting and walking where I can. Currently home every day. I Can go out to walk as much and long as needed, and I’ll make sure they are warm and dry once back in this winter time. There’s always play time and a quiet time as well. My own dog is pretty playful so yours won’t get bored but if he’s calm mine will match the energy, I have a big dog bed but they are more than welcome to make themselves comfortable anywhere and since my dog has no fur he’ll have a cuddle buddy.

About: I’ve been a devoted cat mom for 11 years, raising my furry friend since he was a tiny kitten. He’s calm, social, and used to being around other animals — not a single grumpy whisker on him! Over the years, I’ve become the go-to sitter for friends, neighbors, and colleagues, caring for both cats and dogs while they’re away. I’m patient, gentle, and experienced in creating a calm environment where pets feel safe and loved. I work from home most of the week, so your pet will get plenty of attention, playtime, and care throughout the day. I can also do overnight stays In my home, pets are safe, comfortable, and loved. My own cat is very calm and used to other animals, and I’ll follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. Depending on their needs and behavior, dogs may rest in a crate when I can’t supervise—just to keep everyone safe. I follow your instructions closely, from feeding schedules to medication needs

About: Hello, I'm JJ and would love to spend my time with your furry babies. I work from home full time so I am always available to care for your pets during the day. I grew up on a farm and always had a ton of dogs and other animals around me. I feel very equipped in taking care of your pets. Cali is my senior little lady. She takes medication so I'm comfortable administering pills as well if your pet needs any. She is very friendly and calm so she's a great partner in babysitting. She has plenty of beds and blankets to share so your babies have a cuddle partner. I work full time from home so I am available all day during the week to help look after your pups. I work regular corporate hours so I'm usually awake 9am to 11pm. Since I live in an apartment there's no risk of dogs escaping since they'd need to get through 4 different doors. I have a crate for a small dog if your pup needs it for sleep/if they're left home if necessary.
“Would recommend to everyone. I had multiple pictures and updates during the day and my dog seemed so happy. He was walked, fed, and tired by the time I picked him up.”

“Margaux was fantastic - this was my first time using Rover and she made it a great experience. My four month old puppy had never spent the day with anyone and, being recently vaccinated, didn't have much exposure to dogs. Margaux made sure to slowly and gently introduce her dog to my puppy during the course of our Meet and Greet (which was longer and more thorough than I could have ever hoped for). On the day of the daycare, she let me know that my puppy was comfortable and having a good time and when her schedule suddenly shifted, she provided a choice of suitable alternatives and followed through as promised. I would both recommend and rebook with Margaux in the future.”

“She was nice and professional. She updated me about everything and was so nice with my dog that he wanted to stay. Thank you for your help and for making him feel comfortable.”

“Max was getting very anxious when he sees that we are getting ready to head out and doesn't touch his food. Misa took care of Max and took hom for walks. Max looked happy and he ate as well at her place. Her 2 dogs are also very friendly and accommodating to other dogs.”

“Lance who can be quite anxious, seemed to feel very comfortable with France and I know we will be reaching out again. Communication was excellent. She sent me a few updates throughout the day and was friendly and warm. Thank you again for keeping him company!”
