Si je pouvais posséder un super pouvoir, je choisirais de pouvoir les comprendre parfaitement, afin qu’ils puissent toujours avoir des interactions agréables avec moi ☺️ J’ai suivi le cours de language canin à la SPCA de Montréal, ainsi que leur cours d’hygiène et biosécurité en refuge. J’ai été bénévole là-bas en tant que promeneuse de chiens et foyer d’accueil. J’adore m’occuper des animaux de mes ami.e.s! J’ai aussi travaillé à une animalerie il y a quelques années, j’étais responsable des oiseaux et des rongeurs 🐁🦜🤗 Je pense que mon dévouement envers le bien être des animaux à ma charge font partie des qualités qui font de moi une bonne gardienne d’animaux, ainsi que le respect et la grande curiosité que j’ai pour eux, ce qui m’aide à apprendre et m’améliorer chaque jour. Pour les visites et gardes à domicile, j'apprécierais être informée de toute infestation actuelle ou récente dans la maison. ENGLISH: I check to see if the animal has certain habits that could be harmful to him/herself or his/her environment (for example, eating things on the ground when going for walks), then I modify the environment and/or I make sure to keep an eye on the animal, so that he/she cannot endanger him/herself or damage anything. For drop-in visits and house sitting, I’d appreciate being notified of any current or recent infestations in the home.

Que ce soit pour des promenades, des câlins ou simplement une présence attentive, je m’engage à offrir un cadre sécuritaire et bienveillant à votre animal. 🐕 💕 🐈‍⬛ Je travaille de la maison, je n’ai pas d’enfants et je n’ai présentement aucun animal. J’ai beaucoup de flexibilité et de temps, en semaine comme le week-end, pour prendre soin de votre animal. J’habite dans un grand condo, sans cour arrière. C’est un environnement non-fumeur, sécuritaire, avec pratiquement aucun risque de fugue. Le quartier est calme et il y a peu de circulation automobile.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up on a farm in the Gaspesie but have called Montreal home for 13 years now. Getting to take care of pets is one of the great privileges of my life, and I'd love to shower your dog or cat with love and attention. I've been pet-sitting, walking and doing drop-ins independently for about 6 years now, and I have experience with puppies and kittens. From cuddles to walks in the park, along the water, time spent sunbathing and nearby hikes, let me know what your pet would enjoy, and I'd be happy to keep them occupied. I'm a writer who works from home. My job isn't stressful or fast-paced, so I'm able to give your pet the full attention they deserve. I am home a majority of the day, so your pet will never need to be alone for long. I have a spacious two-floor home, a fenced yard, and a park across the street. There are three friendly cats and one friendly small dog in the house. All of them are well socialized with other animals.

Shibas are energetic, stubborn, and full of personality, so I know how to handle active and independent dogs. I also grew up with dogs since my parents always had them around, so I’ve been used to caring for them my whole life. I love spending time with dogs, whether it's going on walks, playing, or just giving them some extra attention. Takita is super friendly and would love to have some friends over for playtime! Feel free to schedule a pre-visit so we can meet and make sure it’s a great fit. Looking forward to taking care of your pup! I speak EN/FR/ES 😊 I work from home so I will have plenty of time to be with your dog. I sometimes have to go to the office but only for a couple of hours. I have a fenced yard where they can run around safely, and Takita will be more than happy to have a playmate! I also have a crate available if needed.

I grew up in a home that regularly rescued and fostered dogs, so caring for different personalities, energy levels, and behavioral needs has always been part of my life. We always had at least two dogs in the house at a time, and I’ve continued that into adulthood with my own rescues - Rose, who I’ve had since she was 1 (now 14), and Baby, who has been with me for 6 years. I’m often told I have a calm, easy energy that dogs naturally trust. I’m especially patient and understanding with anxious dogs and behavioral sensitivities, while still creating a relaxed and stable environment. I work from home, so dogs are never left unsupervised and always have consistent attention, care, and companionship throughout the day. My home is cozy, calm, and dog-focused, with a large fenced backyard for fetch, sunbathing, and safe outdoor time. I treat every dog like they’re my own and prioritize making them feel secure, comfortable, and cared for while they’re with me. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine because I work from home and already structure my days around caring for animals. My own dogs are a huge part of my everyday life, so walks, outdoor time, feeding schedules, play, cuddles, and supervision are already built into my routine. I’m home often throughout the day, which allows me to give pets consistent attention, companionship, and care rather than leaving them alone for long periods. I genuinely enjoy creating a calm, cozy environment where animals can relax, feel safe, and settle into a comfortable rhythm. Weekly, I prioritize keeping a clean and pet-friendly home and making sure animals get both mental stimulation and downtime depending on their personality and needs. Whether a pet is energetic and playful or more anxious and reserved, I’m attentive to helping them feel comfortable and cared for while they’re with me. Safety is always my top priority when caring for dogs in my home. I have two friendly rescue dogs who are calm, social, and well accustomed to sharing space with other animals. I always prioritize slow, respectful introductions and pay close attention to each dog’s comfort level, personality, and boundaries. I provide a calm, structured environment where dogs are supervised closely and never left unattended outdoors. My home is ground level and has a large fenced backyard for safe outdoor time, fetch, bathroom breaks, and relaxing in the sun, and all yard time is monitored. Inside the home, I use tools like baby gates when needed to create separate spaces for rest, decompression, feeding, or quieter introductions. Because I work from home, I’m present throughout the day to supervise interactions, maintain routines, and make sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and cared for. My goal is always to create a cozy, low-stress environment where dogs can settle in comfortably and feel at home.
